Fury's Reinforcement is Here!

The atmosphere seemed frozen, a thick killing intent started to giving off heavy stress. Soldiers were relatively fine, they have seen much, however, fresh agents like Ruby and doctors shivering none stop.

"Bitch, please!" Nick Fury snorted "If I wasn't short on men, do you think you will be speaking now? Don't make me laugh"

Past events have weakened S.H.I.E.L.D considerably. Avengers became independent and they have their own problems. However, Nick Fury is every calculative person. If he wasn't confident he wouldn't have provoked Vampire Nest. The problem is Vampire nest became bigger than he expected and things happen little faster than he thought.

The Alpha sneered "Maybe so, but now you are helpless, tell you what! why don't you call some superhero? Maybe God of Thunder?"

"Heh! We don't need superheroes" Nick Fury said slowly "Don't worry, after you die I will naturally send others to the hell, to be with you"

Nick Fury deliberately provoked Vampire.

Ye Long stood behind Nick Fury and the formation of the agents. He was totally uninterested in listening to Nick Fury and The Alpha.

'Yawn! Why won't Nick Fury fighting? What's up with the word war?' Bored Ye Long yawned. Then something clicked his mind 'Don't tell me?!'

Sure enough, not only Ye Long but the Alpha also noticed this. He stopped flaming and laughed "Not bad! You had me fooled." Then the Alpha slowly walk forward "You must have called someone right? Who is it?"

This time Nick Fury didn't reply. Gaze cold as ice landed on the Alpha. However Alpha was uncaring, two long fangs appeared in his mouth.

"Whatever! I admit I'm not invincible, regrettably, to current you, I'm more than a threat"

Bang!

Abruptly, a gunshot rang out. Since he already exposed Nick Fury didn't want to witness Alpha's arrogance.

The bullet was spot on, it pierced right between Alpha's eyebrows. Small smoke rose from the vampire's wound.

"Hahahahaha! Damn, that hurts!" Unsurprisingly The Alpha laughed, however, next moment his voice became sinister "Since that the case, Boys!, feast on them! Leave Nick Fury for me"

"Fire!"

Nick Fury didn't hesitate. With both hands operating guns, he gave the order. Sadly bullets couldn't kill vampires. Soldiers were overwhelmed, just in half a minute more than five soldiers drained dry.

The room was armed as well, alas it wasn't enough. Ye Long was calm. He was planning to interfere, those soldiers weren't really good people, on the other hand, few office workers and fresh recruits didn't have blood on their hands. He couldn't just let them die.

Chaos erupted, screams filled the room. Nick Fury managed to explode heads of two vampires. Yet more than ten soldiers died. The Alpha had an arrogant smirk, he didn't care about dying vampires.

Suddenly, The Alpha's eyes contracted. With inborn supernatural reflexes, he took a side step and successfully avoided the vampire that was thrown into his direction.

"Well, …that was fast!" A lazy voice tore through the battlefield.

Boom!

Out of nowhere, formless heavy pressure descended. It was so sudden no one could react. Except for the Alpha, whole room kneeled.

Ye Long finally released his cultivation base!

The Alpha felt as if the spine making cracks. Leg bones shattering, whatever this was, it's totally focused on him. Thanks to supernatural healing ability and strength he could still hold on.

The Alpha saw a purple-haired handsome young man slowly walking toward him.

'A mutant with the gravity-related ability?' He thought.

Ye Long grinned. Without caring about Nick Fury who trying hard to stand up, He looked at the Alpha.

He touched chin and thought 'Looks like my guess is correct, he is strong as normal legendary ranker'

"Who are you?" The Alpha asked. His expression was solemn.

Ye Long slightly surprised. The Alpha seemed to build up resistance toward the pressure.

"I'm just passing by," he said "it's just that I don't like see deaths of innocents. How about you kill Nick Fury and walk away?"

Hearing Ye Long's words the Alpha stunned. First, he thought the young man wanted to save Nick Fury.

But what the hell…?

Nick Fury and others initially elated, yet their faces changed hearing Ye Long's word. Nick Fury felt like beating up Ye Long, unfortunately, he couldn't even lift a finger.

"Haha, interesting!" The Vampire laughed "Although I don't know what kinda power you wield, I'm not afraid you. My brothers and I are very hungry, we won't leave without draining all of you"

"Have it in your way then!" Ye Long said expressionlessly not pressing the matter any further.

A buzzing rang out, Ye Long disappeared from the view. Vampire tensed up, a danger was approaching, however, he was unable to react.

Bang!

Muffled bang sound rang out, Ye Long stood before the Alpha. His fist rested on the alpha's chest.

Pop!

Blood splattered, the Alpha's body exploded. The force of Ye Long's fist burst body into a bloody mess. Alpha's body tore apart, eyes, ears, mouth, hands everything ruptured.

"Sigh! I didn't think you are this weak. You didn't die right?" said Ye Long withdraw his fist and said to Alpha. His expression was full of playfulness. Although The Alpha exploded, he didn't die, Ye Long could see it.

"Argh!" The Alpha bellowed. A supernatural force circle through its body. Mortal wounds began to heal at a visible rate.

'This is really something, even the cultivators don't have this kind of healing ability' Ye Long thought as he witnessed the vampire regenerate himself. According to his guess, only grade 4 or 5 Vitality Regeneration Pill could achieve this sort of recovery speed.

Soon as the alpha recovered, he stared at Ye Long. Last parts to heal was the eyes and those were full of fury. It was as if he wanted to eat Ye Long alive. The hatred came from the vampire's very core. This was the first time in 800 or so years the alpha felt defeated and humiliation.

Ye Long chuckled. He didn't care about Vampire's expression. He retracted cultivation base pressure. Killing alpha and other vampires simple thing but he didn't wish to. Ye Long was thinking about trapping them inside of a ring of [Nirvana Fire] and leave this place. Fire is the bane of vampires and [Nirvana Fire] is even more so. After he has done with that, what Fury do with them doesn't concern Ye Long. He just wanted to go outside and experience the modern world for a bit. And maybe find out the reason [Compass of Heaven and Earth] brought him here.

Suddenly, Ye Long's brows frowned. Rapidly, he retreated a few steps back. Alpha was startled for a moment, then laughed gloomily. He thought Ye Long's power reached its limits and Ye Long about to run.

Next moment something strange happened. Except for Nick Fury, Maria Hill and a few others, everyone else taken aback.

Behind the destroyed metal door, a long blazing chain abruptly appeared and wrap itself around the Vampire Alpha. Before anyone could react another chain wind up toward the rest of vampires.

Blazing chains looked alive. It avoided agents and only targeted Vampires.

Ye Long saw, every time blazing chain touch vampire, he or she would burn to ash. This didn't last long, not even giving a chance all the vampires disappeared.

"No!" The Alpha panicked and tried to struggle free, he recognized the owner of those chains. Yet, the blazing chain didn't even make a sound. Immediately regret-filled his heart. Even though S.H.I.E.L.D has fallen, he acted too haste. Now the certain 'carrot top' is here, leaving here in one piece would be hard.

The Alpha looked at Ye Long. If it wasn't for him, by now Nick Fury and rest would have died. Ye Long shrugged and smiled innocently.

"Reyes, You are late" Nick Fury who suffocated under the Ye Long's pressure, regained his bearing. Although his arrogance dimed slightly, it was still apparent. He didn't forget to give warning glance toward Ye Long.

Ye Long understood, from the start Nick Fury wasn't planning to let him go. 'Did I speak too much? Shouldn't have told him about immortality.'

Mortals are naturally greed for their life. Maybe Nick Fury thinking a way to gain immortality Ye Long spoke of.

Same as Vampire Alpha, Ye Long also lamented. But unlike the vampire, he wasn't afraid. He could take down those so-called heroes within a few rounds. Also, it's not like he couldn't escape here, it's just he was unwilling to create trouble. Then again this world is just a short time stop of his journey, why would he be afraid to cause troubles?

As a reply to Nick Fury's words, heavy footstep resounded. Ye Long saw a human…..more like a skeleton walking toward them with a flaming head. With a wave of his hand vampire killing chain retreat and wound around his body. The other end of the chain that bond alpha wounded around his right arm.

Ye Long recognised this…thing. Back in the days he really liked Ghost Rider movie. The guy was awesome without a doubt. No wonder Nick Fury call Ghost Rider. Since vampires felt guilt for drinking blood, they are very venerable in front of Ghost Rider.

'But looking at Nick Fury's expression he is going to deal with me too. But I would like to see how [Demon Fire] going to battle with my [Nirvana Flame]' Ye Long decide to wait until Ghost Rider finish with Vampire Alpha. Thinking about it Ye Long couldn't help but smirk.
