Chapter 1 Part I

"Please listen carefully to what I am going to say now, since it will not be repeated, there is no possibility to ask questions after my speech" said a man who was standing on the podium in front of us students.

I considered that he probably was the school principal.

"I am Wolfgang von Leonhard the homeroom teacher of class 3A. I will be explaining some rules of this school to you all, but in case you may wonder I would like to say first that the school principal is currently on a meeting and therefore has no time to talk to you" the man on the podium said.

Now this was interesting, he was able to read the masses' confusion on why the school principal wasn't there on the podium. Although I myself would consider that a pretty easy task.

The girl next to me didn't look amazed either. Even when he said he wasn't the school principal, she didn't react. 

"This high school is different from other high schools, you are going to live on the school area until you graduate. There are however three areas within this school area, each of these is for a grade. Meaning, one area is for the first-graders while another one is for the second-graders and so on."

He showed us a map of the school on the blackboard, where you could see how the school area was divided up. Bottom left was grade 1, right to that was grade 2 and on the top was grade 3. The school area had the shape of a triangle.

"However, there is only one library on the entire school area meaning that is the only place where you can meet students from higher grades, it is placed in the center of the school area. Each of the areas is about 2 square kilometers big, making a total of 6 square kilometers for the entire school area."

This was amazing, I never saw such a big school. I was even more amazed than I was before when I entered the school. However, the girl next to me still showed no expression, therefore I began to consider that she might be the daughter of the school principal and because of that already knows this school pretty well.

"Now continuing with the rules of this school, different from normal schools F is the best grade and A is the worst grade when you're writing a test. Also, each grade level has four classes, for example: 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D. This is the same as in normal schools.

As you all know, you'll live on this school area meaning you need to have money in order to survive, for this reason the school has a point system. Every student will get a start-up capital of 10000 points, one point equals 1€ for the first month in this school."

A loud atmosphere developed among the students, no wonder because we get 10,000€ for nothing basically. I myself of course also was amazed by that much of money, but also I considered to not waste my money and only live by necessities, because it maybe was just there to test if we can use money correctly.

The girl next to me also seemed to have the same idea as me, she seemed really smart, beautiful and smart is a good combination.

"This is all for now, the homeroom teachers will call your names and bring you to your classrooms now" von Leonhard said and then left the room.

I wonder how I will get along with my classmates.
