Living Life With Persona

Enzo Akamatsu, a Half-European Half-Japanese boy, is in his second year of Shujin Academy. After a rough first year, his return in his second year caused an uproar between the gossiping students of the school. A little less than a week later, rumours sparked once a new student transferred into Shujin Academy: Ren Amamiya, a boy with a criminal record. This is the story of Enzo and The Phantom Thieves of Hearts. However, being a Phantom Thief isn't all that Enzo is known for. Warning: - Crossover World: This fic features other anime worlds, not just Persona 5. - Possible Small Harem: This fic could potentially have a small harem of about 3/4 girls or something. but isn't guaranteed which is why I haven't put the Harem tag. - Weak-to-strong + OP MC: MC is quite strong for someone his age, however this isn't a fic where MC can breeze through everything easily without trying so there will be potential training arcs, losses, etc. - NOT A SERIOUS FIC: I'm a casual writer, I write for fun - this fic could be dropped at any time, it all depends on my motivation. If I write, I write, if I don't, I don't.

Chapter 2: First Day Back

With Homeroom ending, the students now had a 10 minute break to go get a snack from a vending machine, talk with their mates in a different class, go toilet or whatever else they can do in that time. Enzo, however, decided to just stay in his seat as he felt like if he left the class, he would not return after the 10 minutes.

"Owahhh..." With a big yawn, he leant back on his chair and stretched his limbs, feeling stiff after sitting down for what felt like forever.

After the 10 minutes were over, the students returned to their class and seats. Shortly after, Miss Usami, the maths teacher, entered the class and welcomed the students to her maths lesson.

Enzo attempted to pay attention to the lesson, as he always would, but he'd zone out every few seconds and the information would go through one ear and out the other.

He was never good at studies, always barely passing (And most of the time he got lucky by ticking the right box on the multiple choice questions) and getting the bare minimum to avoid an F on his grades.

Whilst not so good in the studies area, Enzo was always held up high when it came to sports and anything else athletic. In that area, he was a 'prodigy', a 'genius', a 'one in one million'. Throughout elementary school, he played football (soccer) and won any school tournament for his school. Throughout middle school, he played basketball and won most tournaments - the only ones he managed to lose was because of a team called the 'The Generation of Miracles' by others... which they received after beating Enzo Akamatsu, 'The Generational Genius' the first time they played.

Though, that was only because it was a 5v1 situation, and they beat him together. In a 1v1, or 2v1 and possibly a 3v1, Enzo would win against them.

And throughout his first year of high school at Shujin Academy, he chose to play volleyball. Him and the team won the tournaments at the beginning of the year, but suddenly, Enzo Akamatsu had vanished completely, surprising everyone in the sports community as they wondered where the genius had gone off to.

Shaking his head to dismiss the thoughts, Enzo snapped back into reality to the sound of the bell, signalling the end of first period. With Miss Usami leaving the class, another 10 minute break began. After that, Mister Hiruta, the biology teacher, entered and began teaching the class.

After a long, boring hour of learning about cells and stuff, the lesson ended and it was time for lunch. Enzo got out of his seat and left the classroom to see Ryuji waiting for him with a smirk

"Yo! Rooftop?" He asked, earning a nod from Enzo before he said, "Ah, lemme get some food first though"

They headed down to the first floor and bought some break and other small snacks before going up all the way to the third floor, where they went up another set of stairs leading to the closed rooftop.

"Aww, man! It's locked, shit!" Ryuji cried, his body dropping in defeat as he saw the door locked by an iron chain and lock.

With a focused glare, Enzo grabbed the iron chain with his bare hands before gripping it tightly and tearing it apart as if it was a piece of slime.

"..." Ryuji had his mouth gaped open as he saw his best friend turn around and smile, "The rooftop's open, let's go" He said casually, as if he hadn't just done something considered superhuman in the eyes of Ryuji Sakamato.

"For real!? You just broke an iron chain, bro! How'd you do that!" He exclaimed in shock, closing the door behind him as he and Enzo sat on chairs around a desk which they brought and set up last year.

"I workout" Enzo simply shrugged in response, a small grin on his face as he enjoyed the surprised face of Ryuji and knew his playful answers were just making him more curious.

With over 50 minutes left of lunch, the two just had a nice chat talking about their lives and how they'd been since the last time they saw each other. After catching up, Ryuji had Enzo, after a ton of begging, show off his strength and his muscles.

"Man, I'm jealous... I remember when you were pretty skinny before you got suspended. You're telling me you transformed this much in like, what, 4 or 5 months? And you got some badass looking scars from sparring your gorgeous swordswoman sensei? I gotta say, I'm jealous, man!" Ryuji commented, swinging back on his chair with his hands placed on the back of his head as usual.

"She's not just a swordswoman, she's a weapon master" Enzo corrected, earning a "Same thing" from Ryuji, before adding on "The only reason I've managed to change this much is because of my senseis and training"

"So, let me get this right: After you got suspended, you went to a boxing gym but also took partial MMA lessons on the side. Eventually, your coach recommended you to check out the dojo of his close friend and try to train there. After going to the dojo, you got accepted and trained by, like, 5 senseis all at once?"

He got a nod from Enzo which signified that he had the story right so far, "And the reason you got recommended to the dojo is because your original sensei said you had the potential to become a 'one-of-a-kind fighter' after you signed up for an amateur fighting tournament and won with ease?" He earned another nod, "Wow... your life's real interesting, man! These past few months I've just been playing games, going out with my mom, and working out my legs to get them back the way they used to before..."

Ryuji looked at his leg with a saddened expression, remembering what happened to it. Suddenly, his eyes widened as he realised his words might've triggered something for Enzo so he looked back at his face to see his eyes closed whilst forcing a creepy, the apple juice carton completely crushed under his clenched fist.

*Ring ring ring!* Feeling relieved at the sound of the bell, Ryuji stood up out of his chair and said to Enzo, "I'm going to class, which is..." He looked at his timetable to see he had PE, which meant Enzo did as well as the school had 3 classes in the year at once have PE at the same time (Class A, B and C together. Class D, E, and F together) for whatever reason, it worked though.

"I'm skipping, have fun" Enzo remarked, placing his crossed legs on the free table as he took his phone out from his pocket and began scrolling on social media.

"I won't, see ya" Ryuji waved, knowing Enzo's valid reason for skipping. He would love to skip the lesson as well, but his mother would tell him off for skipping class. He was, honestly, kind of glad that Enzo decided to skip the lesson

After all, he didn't want his friend to get jailed for murder.

A/N: Some small backstory for Enzo. The conversation with Ryuji might seem kind of forced to some of you, but I felt the need to do it so you guys can know a bit of the backstory I made for Enzo without an even more forced plot.
