S-Class Quest

As far as he remembers, he never told anyone regarding what he had been looking for, not even the guild master.

And yet, this little sprout suddenly pop out from nowhere and indirectly revealed his discreet motions.

"I-I'm a prince of this kingdom! that's why I know"

"You are the Royal Prince!?" though Mystogan was surprised inside, but he remains calm outside.

He also heard rumors circulating that the Royal Prince had running away from the palace, to think that he met the legendary Prince of the Kingdom here.

He also did not expect that Royal Prince acually was a child, more importantly he came to him with the initiative to 'negotiate'.

"Mn," Nathan acknowledged and then continued, "Every year in Fiore there's always strange fluctuations appeared above the sky. The observer identified that the incident caused by a dense vortex of magnetic force absorbed magic power within the radius of the vortex area..."

"After several years of research of that vortex, last year, the observer finally got the results of the researched. They stated that there is a glimmer vital of life behind that vortex. In other words, they assumed that there was another world behind the vortex that was trying to absorb magic power from this world, especially in Fiore"

"Therefore we named that vortex as an inter-dimensional gate because we suspect that it was the entrance to that another world..."

"However, every time occurrences, within a minute after the inter-dimensional gate appeared, suddenly there was always a magic fluctuation caused by someone from below it that forcefully closed that gate before the government took action"

Mystogan was truly taken aback after hearing this, he clearly aware the inter-dimensional gate that this green boy mentioned was something he had been searching for all this time, he called it 'Anima'.

He never thought that the appearance of Anima could attract too much attention, even making the government side research the intricacies of Anima. Luckily he always acts fast.

Up until now, he is the only person who always acts the most alert every time Anima appeared, that was because he was the only person who knew the most what Anima was.

Even though he prevented the other world from trying to absorb magic power from this world, that doesn't mean he would let the natives of this world set their feet into the world behind the Anima.

He looked at the shyly green boy behind the tree as he smirked up, "Heh... based on what do you think if I look for the "that" location?" His eyes were quite sharp when he stared at Nathan and making him shrink further behind the tree.

The opposite party says that he is a prince, so it's natural that he knows a lot. But sometimes knowing too much isn't too good for him.

He simply doesn't care if that green boy is a prince or even a King or anything as the real identity of himself is no less than him anyway.

If he becomes a threat, he will not hesitate to eliminate him, fortunately, he is a member of the same guild. He has high faith in the members of Fairy Tail. At least if that green boy didn't make use of this matter as a threat, he will not take action.

Nathan looked at Mystogan's cold eyes from behind the three as he replied nervously, "...Initially I was just guessing, but your reaction just now confirmed everything".

"..." Mystogan's face twitched slightly. It was indeed true though, he was too shocked just now with all the green boy's words from beginning to the point that he forgot to control his emotions,

"Even so, it's still yet explain why you suspect me?!" he sneered coldly.

There are still many possibilities that other peoples whose do that, why this green boy suspected him from the start?

"I-it quite easy... that inter-dimensional gate absorbs the magic power that is within its radius range, that means, it is impossible for the magic caster type mages to approach because there's the possibility that its body will also be absorbed into the gate and no one know what will happen afterward. Unlike the magic holder type mages, they don't have innate magical abilities within their body" Nathan explained unhurriedly.

"There are a lot of holder magic type mages in Fiore" Mystogan claimed.

Nathan shook his head as he replied, "Ordinary magic holder type mage can't possibly close that kind of gate!"

"As far as I know, there is only one person who is able to do that, his name is Mystogan, the S-Class mage of Fairy Tail and the strongest holder magic type mage currently in Fiore" as he said that while locking his gaze to the dark blue cloak man.

Whereas Mystogan could only stand up after listening to it, he did not know what reaction he should make. He wasn't even sure, was he being praised? by this green boy or it was the public opinions?

"You really took me by surprise with your bits of intelligence" Mystogan gives a casual compliment.

Even though he did not admit directly it was him, at least he did not deny it.

"No... no...!" Nathan scratched his head flattered, and then rubbed his small nose, "So, Mystogan-san will you help me now?"

"What do you want from me?"

"S-Class quest"

Mystogan silent for a moment as he frowned, "You should already know, not just anyone can take an S-Class quest as it has dangerousness itself".

Nathan finally came out from behind the tree and slowly walked over to Mystogan and smiled lightly, "Therefore I asked you... as for the dangers, I can take care of it by myself, perhaps!"

"You should just ask the others..."

"Ask who? Erza-san? it's impossible, she's too strict no matter what, as for another one I think he's also impossible..." Nathan laughed bitterly.

Asking Erza for an S-class quest is the same as if he was killed before the quest he took. As for another one, Nathan shook his head, it was the same as asking people to bully himself.

Therefore, Mystogan is the most suitable choice compared to other S-Class mages, firstly because he was a reclusive person as no one will bother about what quest he took.

Secondly, Mystogan doesn't talk much, the possibility of him revealing this transaction is very thin.

And lastly, Mystogan is unlikely to refuse his request after hearing his offer.

The amount of quests on the second floor is not as many as those on the first floor. It's just that he rarely goes upstairs to take the S-Class quest even though he is the S-Class mage.

He rubbed his eyes, then moved out of bed and walked into the living room,

"What's wrong Lucy-san? isn't Landlady already receiving rent yesterday?" he asked with a sleepy tone as he was a bit not happy with Lucy's behavior in the morning.

Seeing her 'cousin' who had just woken up, Lucy immediately grabbed his two shoulders tightly, and frantically said, "Nathan, another intruder entered my room!!! wait! that's not the point, he is..."

Nathan helplessly avoided her thundersouss, "Calm down can you?!"

"How can I calm down, look by yourself!!!" she pointed her finger towards someone who was sitting on the sofa, "Th-that's M-M-Mystogan!!!" she clawed her cheeks in screaming.
