Their original plan was to use Lucy to posing as a maid applicant in hope of distracting Everlue.

After taking one look at Lucy, Everlue immediately spits and rejects her as he considers her "ugly".

Nathan was simply could not say anything and could only shake his head towards Everlue's ideal type.

Everlue has a rather twisted sense of beauty, viewing unattractive woman to be beautiful while declaring pretty girls such as Lucy to be ugly.

Nathan was worried about Lucy's current physiology.

She was hit several times a day.

After rejection, the team decided to execute their second plan, which is to infiltrate the mansion.

The team makes its way to roof via Happy's Aera[1] and then Natsu melts a bit of a window and opens it from the inside, allowing the trio to access the house.

Meanwhile, Nathan was still hanging on the tree branch motionlessly, watching each movement of Natsu's team move from the beginning until they made it into the house.

From the start, Nathan had no intention of interfering in their mission.

He only needed to wait until the time arrived and took the Gold Key from Everlue's hand.

Originally, this mission can be solved easily by Natsu's team, they just need to burn the object they are looking for.

However, Lucy's passion for the author of the book they were looking for made this mission complicated and wordy.

And because of that, the true secret of the book "Daybreak" was revealed by Lucy.

Lucy realizes that there is something more to the book so she asks Natsu to buy her some time as she runs to another room to finish reading it.

Whereas, Everlue curious about the secrets the book could hold.

As the greedy as Everlue was, he thought the secrets might be a treasure map.

With that, Everlue pits his hiring guard, Vanish Brothers against Natsu while he chases after Lucy, who runs off to learn more about the secret.

Lucy hides in a tunnel under the Everlue's mansion.

Unfortunately, in a second she was caught up by Everlue.

Lucy and Happy work together to defeat Everlue who has the earth magic which is it very troublesome against him openly.

Lucy gave a warning to Everlue that if he let her keep the book, she would forgive him.

But Everlue simply ignored her warning.

Everlue's stubbornness forced Lucy to takes out the Gate of Giant Crab Key and summons Cancer.

Whereas, Everlue who felt being cornered and fear that book revealing about information on his corrupt business practices, he also takes out the Gate of Maiden Key and summons Virgo, who turns out be the head maid of the mansion.

However, Virgo doesn't come alone as Natsu had grabbed onto her as she was being summoned.

Shorty after, Natsu beat Virgo with one punch and Lucy cutting off Everlue's hair and therefore ultimately defeating him.

With the book acquired, the team heads back to Kabi Melon's mansion and present him the book.

However, unknown to them, someone slipped into the mansion right after they gone and headed to the tunnel under the Everlue's mansion.

Tap Tap Tap

The sound of footsteps echoed throughout the entire tunnel as the shadow of the figure gradually visible from a distance and slowly walked forward.

The figure approached Everlue who was lying on the ground and his face was battered.

Everlue's head, along with his mustache is completely shaven.

Although he was powerless, he was still able to maintain his consciousness.

Everlue even realized that someone was approaching him, its aura was obviously very different from the three damn monkeys that had just defeated him.
