He shrugs casually and approaches the desk further. “I know, probably because I know Taylor.”
My frown deepens, not understanding what Taylor has to do with the company missing money. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I mean I lived the last four years with her so I kinda know parts of her plans and I know this is all part of her schemes just as she has perfectly orchestrated from the very beginning,” he answers, not looking bothered with what he’s saying.
I get up from my seat in an instant, “So you are telling me Taylor did this,” I point to the documents on my desk, but mostly referring to the state the company has fallen to, “just to get back at me?”
He nods without a second doubt. “Yes, and I’ve got to give it to her. She’s smart at her game.” he chuckles lowly and I glare at him, making him stop and seriously look at me. “you think she came back and forgave you from the goodness of her heart? This was her plan, man.”
