Chapter 4 War, Fight against another phoenix

I was on my way to the principal's office to pick up my dorm room key as the Lightning Phoenix continued his story

(As I was saying, each faction had it's own evil within, and a war eventually broke out) the bird continued

(The first war. It started from small skirmishes between the native God's and the dragon's followers, both good and evil, then the dark phoenix began instigating battles and to make things worse he joined in himself.) Phoenix

(Of coarse the spiteful gods faction they took this as an opportunity to blame all four phoenixs, and the dragons who loved to fight the strong, they took this as an opportunity to fight against the Phoenix.) Phoenix said in my mind

(So why did the phoenix split in four ?) I asked in my mind

(Because the Phoenix is the immortal entity of rebirth and to keep from dying and resurrecting completely we split down to our four personalities.) Phoenix

At this time I was just reaching the main office

"Hi, how can I help you." Secretary

"I'm here to see the principal." I said

Okay I'll let him know that, and what is your name ?" the secretary asked while summoning a small magic circle

"Kevin Stuart" I responded

After she got done talking through the circle she told me to go into the principal's office

She told me it's the very room behind the desk at the end of the hall

When I got to the door I heard

"Come in" Principal

I went in and said "I came for my key to the dorm."

Rubbing his chin "So your the one huh ?"

"Huh ?" I said confused

(He is one my few remaining followers.) Lightning Phoenix

"That's right ! And my name is Principal Anderson, I look forward to your adventures." He said reaching his hand out with a smile

I shook his hand and said

"Yeah.....do you know my room number ?"

He gave me my room number and I headed out to the room, the bird continued the story

( The first war broke out between all three factions and our followers, the result came to an stand still, I decided it was best to kill the dark Phoenix to stop future problems from him, the second was much bloodier, we lost much more followers due to the cycle.)

Lightning Phoenix

"Cycle, what cycle ?" Kevin

( Every 500 years the Phoenix dies and is resurrected, this resurrecting process takes about ten years, the dark Phoenix set a trap for me preventing me slowing down my resurrection !) Lightning Phoenix exclaimed

I was in the cafeteria when I saw Jean being jumped by four.... what I believe is ice mages

She was using fire magic to fight off the four of them

(It might be a good idea to help her, I'm going help you, but first it's time for this, hold out your hand) the Phoenix said

"Yeah I want to help, but how ? I can't do any real magic yet." Kevin

(Like I said I'm going to help you. Hold out your hand) Lightning Bird

I hold out my hand

(Now start to release magic from your hand)

I release magic from my hand, and the Phoenix turns into electricity and travels across my body

I felt like I was whipped every where, then it said

(Now we have fused together.) Phoenix

"What ? Why did we fuse ?" Kevin

(So this way we could grow stronger together, and lower the chance of someone noticing. Now let's see how much power you could handle of mine.)

I rush down there and it looks like Jean is starting to lose

I go up to the one who looks like the leader and say " Hey.... Why are you jumping this girl for ?"

The leader looks at me and laughs

" Why would I explain myself to this misfit who barely has any Mana in him." Ice leader

(Woah, this guy is a Phoenix child descendant.) Phoenix

(What do you mean ?) I thought to the Phoenix

(Before the war we each have our most trusted followers a gift, the blessing of the Phoenix, giving them a incredibly fast regeneration rate. This blessing is why the Phoenix with only four Divine beings were able to fight against hundreds of dragons and multiple gods as long as they have Mana left in their body, the user was practically immortal. But using this regeneration uses mana do they had to be careful.)

While he was explaining the other ice mages turned their attention to me

"Let's put this loser in his place !" the leader said

"Kevin run !" Jean shouted

(Don't run this is important. I'm going to supply you with my Mana. Feel the Mana in your body and imagine this magic circle and wrap the electricity around your body.) The Phoenix showed the lightning circle in my mind

( How ?) I responded in my mind

(Simple all it takes to use magic is knowledge, imagine the circle, release the Mana and control it with your mind)

It was much simpler than I expected

I had an idea I wrapped the electricity around my feet too, and increased the mana

I charged at the Phoenix descendant, I was at least 10x faster than a normal run and landed a punch that sent him flying

Then I turned to two ice magicians who shot

ice cycles the size yard sticks and pointed my finger at them, I released lightning that came out like a torrent instantly putting them down

There was five left, Jean just put down two so now three left and there switching between the two of us, I dodge each spell and start to prepare my own. I make a sphere of lightning the size of an beach ball, split it to three and shoot it at the remaining three, they fall over like building blocks.
