Chapter 2 Fated encounter
After I had finished first ever cultivation because I was able to sense and collect magical power I was able to feel the mana within me and envision my mana pool, I touched the crystal ball again to see the rewards of efforts and seen the number of 100.15 (WHAT !)
I flipped through my magic 101 text book to see cultivating, it turns out cultivating only adds .5 % magic point to your mana capacity, the only other way is to completly use up your mana which gives you 10 % increase in mana capacity at a time.
As class was ending the teacher gave us all forms saying we were required to join an after school program before graduation
There were four types of clubs, combat magic club, tamer club, magic artifact research club, and magic tool creation and research cub
After school I decided to visit each of them
before going t see if my home still existed
The combat club had a barrier
with people fighting with
classic mage staffs, wands, swords, spears etc within a barrier
the teacher, a man with horns, yes literal horns acting as coach I was
when I asked if guns were allowed to one of the fight watchers they looked at me crazily and said guns are illegal in school
I played it off as a joke
The next closest one was the magic tool club
"Hi, welcome to our club." A beautiful blonde woman with blue eyes and glasses
said to me
Going in I recognized computers smartphones and a bunch of devices I had no clue about, I politely excused myself
And then next I went into the tamer club room
I was greeted by an elderly woman with glasses
She took me to a portal, called a "gate" and when I stepped out I seen I was near a forest with a bunch of people and....creatures, some of them looked like animals, no animals that were larger than what they should have been and the others were things I never heard of like.... a floating eyeball
"Is this your first time seeing a magical beast young man ?" Old woman
I shook my head no
"Does it disgust you." the girl with the floating eyeball asked with a smirk
she had dark hair and green eyes, and was curvy
"Naw this is just my surprised face." Kevin
"Well, this is our school's breeding and training ground for tamer's and familiars." the woman says
"How did we get here ???" Kevin
"This is a sub-dimension." The woman answered
(Stop wasting time boy come to me.) Kevin
"Did either of you hear that ?" Kevin heard a voice inside of his mind
"Hear what, what do you mean ?" Black haired girl
"What is your name young man ?" Old woman
"Kevin, what do I call each of you ?" I asked
"Ms.Lee, magical beast teacher" Ms. Lee
"Jean, Mr. misfit" Jean
"How did you know that ?" I asked
"It's obvious." Jean
(Stop wasting time boy, come to me, follow the map in your mind) The voice in Kevin's mind
" Alright gotta go, find me a pet." With the fakest smile on my face
" Kevin, remember if your going to tame an a beast you have to be stronger than one, come to equal terms of one or the beast has to like you. And don't challenge what you can't handle." Ms. Lee
"I won't." I shout as I start to jog in the direction of the location on the map
Going to the location I passed many students and magical beasts
I came to a large pond with a small boat and paddle inside, in order to get to the destination I have to go through this or take thirty minutes to an hour to go around
It was fifteen minutes before I got over to the other pond
On the way I seen plenty of"creatures" on the way, I was scared as shit
I stepped pass some trees and reacjed the point on the map,l. Ibfound a pile of sticks, I looked around for the being in my head
(You have reached me) Voice
(Dig up the branches and look for an egg) Voice
I found the egg, but then it started to hatch
what came out surprised me, it was a bird made of yellow electricity, I sensed powerful magic from the bird magic that I couldn't sense from the teachers.
"What are you, how can you speak to me and how come I sense you but no one else around the school " Kevin
