chapter 5: Tiny Hero

Waking up still in my tiny white body crushed any doubts that all this could have been a dream.

'Hhh...' letting out a sigh internally fully coming to terms with my new existence.

Standing up I began to do some stretches to feel any restrictions I may have that I didn't bother checking on last night due to the exhaustion of breaking out that egg.

I began running and jumping around the small cave I was in finding it very awkward to be running on all fours but also found that it brought more explosive force pushing me forward.

'Hhh, this must be how dog feel running, though it isn't bad I still think I prefer running on two legs'

After thorough inspection of my small body I've come to the conclusion that I'm fucked. as of right now my only assets are my speed, maneuverability, and my stealth skill which aren't really all that great because of the low level but my small body compliments them perfectly.

My weaknesses far outweigh my strengths at the moment. My attack power and defensive capabilities are abysmal. My attack and defense isn't the only problem, my mana is to low to use any of my special skills. I can feel just off pure instinct that if I use my three special skills that requires mana I'll pass out shortly afterward due to mana exhaustion.

To make it all worse I'm incapable of using my wings for the time being, damn things are just chilling on my back as decoration.

'Well shit, looks like I'll be completely reliant on my speed and stealth for the time being. I just hope I don't end up a damn chew toy as soon as I get past that waterfall at the end of the cave.'

Finishing the inspection of my body I started decending down the steps. Only taking about two minutes to reach the bottom of the step I began to sprint straight towards the water to see the extent of my endurance but unsurprisingly I ran out of steam at about the half way marker.

'I've got a lot of training to do but I guess I can be proud of myself for making it this far as I'm still only a day old but I'm guessing I'm pretty disappointing compared to the other dragon children.' I thought to myself while I continued to walk the rest of the way to the exit

After five minutes of walking I arrived at the waterfall feeling refreshed as the water splashed on my body. Getting closer I quenched my thirst as well washed off the dirt on my fur coat and wings that I gather running around the cave it the morning.

'Ahh, I feel a lot better now' I thought to myself as I shook off the water looking like a dog after a bath.

Feeling refreshed and clean I strutted over to the edge of the waterfall with a little pip in my step excited to finally see the new I'll be living in for next thousands of years of my life.

Reaching the edge and curiously peaking out staying behind the waterfall not wanting to be noticed my eye were bombarded by the beautiful scenery infront of me. Out ahead of the water hole the waterfall fell into were tall trees with beautifully vibrant and colorful leaves like the entering of the fall season on earth. What really caught my eye though were the flowers spread around the water hole with butterflies flocking around them. The flowers were of many varieties of color giving off a mesmerizing feeling of calming that I could even feel from behind the waterfall.

'The colors are for more vibrant than on earth, must be a direct result because this world is full of mana unlike earth... looking at the plants I wonder how the living creature have evolved compared to earth' I thought to myself with a shiver

Looking around again before stepping put from behind the waterfall everything felt strange.

'Hmm... Why isn't there any animals around? Shouldn't this place be like a safe haven spot like you see in movies?' Thinking to myself

As I was thinking I began looking at the water with a suspicious gaze.

'All the movies I've seen a beautiful spot like this would either be a one of those place predators and prey make a treaty and make this a spot to chill or it has be claimed by something... and if it's the later something big must me in there' while thinking to myself I activated [World Eye] focusing on water.

Instantly a name tag popped up with a description below it

[Water Boa Lvl 65]

- A branch evolution of the Basilisk. The Water Boa finds a body of water hiding in its depths striking living creatures that swim or drink from its habitat. Due to the evolution the Water Boa cannot leave water for more than 45 minutes due to the forming of gills making them extremely reluctant to leave water if not completely necessary.

'What the hell, I didn't know the [World Eye] had limits' Thinking while opening its description

[World Eye]

- Provides a description of Casters intended target

- Shows the stats of targets that are at most 15 levels higher than caster. (ex: Caster at Lvl 1 can see stats of targets Lvl 1 through Lvl 16)

'Hhhh damn old man making me work for my perks... Oh well its not like knowing this monsters stats will help me at all anyways, the level difference is just to huge.'

Seeing that fighting is impossible I began walking down the slope as close to the wall as possible in hope that I'm not seen.

Making it to the ground and behind some rocks I sighed in relief that it didn't notice me. Now with shining eyes ready to see what this world has to offer, I hear something coming out of the woodline. Poking my head out from behind the rock I see a naked young lady walking towards the water. She had Red hair and jade white skin showing no sign of imperfection. Looking at her body showed she wasn't blessed with a large chest being just enough for a hand full, but where her chest was lacking her ass made up for it being perfect, looking big, tight and athletic. After mesmerizing over her body I remembered where she was heading.

I came out from behind the rock just as she was about to get in and tried to yell but all that came out was "Roar" but it wasn't majestic and fear inducing, it was like a cute little tiger cub trying to roar for the first time.

Even though it was humiliating it still did its job and got the woman's attention. When she looked over she stared at me in surprise and awe but just as I fear I saw the water begin to move and without hesitation I activate my [God Speed] skill and felt the mana just drain out my body but also felt a surge of power at the same time.

I used every ounce of strength I had and darted leaving a streak of lightning running into the lady leaving behind a giant head of a snake exactly where she just was.

Hitting her at full speed threw us pretty hard rolling all the way in the woods. Feeling completely exhausted I looked back to see the Water Boa looking at me with a deadly glent in its eyes as it slowly slid back into the water think it wasn't worth it to leave its safe spot.

I watched it leave thanking God it was just to lazy to chase after them and opening the status board seeing my mana is completely exhausted. Seems only using the [God Speed] skill for just a second completely drained me.

I looked at the lady I saved to see her looking at the water with fear squeezing me tightly to her chest which I fully enjoyed. In her embrace I succumbed to my exhaustion and passed out from the mana loss.
