Chapter 13 - Castle Black

She had been observing the strange structure for a whole day now, she was wondering around when she felt the need to head towards a certain direction, along the way she had to hide from powerful mutilated creatures that could turn her to paste with one wave of their paws.

It took her 7 sun rise to get to where she was now, she could feel something drawing her close to the strange Tower but she didn't blindly rush into it, since it might be a place filled with strong mutilated creatures, so she decided to observe first and after a day of observation she saw nothing go in or out of the strange structures.

In the middle of her thoughts the vampire felt a burning sensation around her left shoulder, she looked up and the sun was starting to rise, as a Vampire a creature that evolved from the very Creatures the Will of the planet wanted to exterminated, the Will had place a curse on the Vampire never to be able step foot in the daylight, so as to not ender her people which were the Humans.

Seeing no tree to hide under the Vampire only had one place and that was inside the strange building, Ever since she awoke in this new form, her memories of the life she might have lived before was foggy, no matter how much she tried she couldn't perfectly remember but she knew she had a life before she became whatever she was now.

As the sun continue to rise, the vampire ran towards the castle even if there was dangerous being inside the castle right now she had no other choice she would deal with whatever was inside the castle, the front doors of the castle was 18 feet tall, like the rest of the castle it was pure black, looking around the entrance the vampire noticed that she can not see the sun anymore, it was like the day had gone dark and she didn't even notice.

She could still see the sun's ray of light afar but it was like the ray was avoiding this castle, in her undeveloped mind she made a vow that she most own this castle no matter what, it was a place where she wouldn't have to worry about the harmful sun, nothing was going stop her, she pushed the 18 feet tall door open with all her power.

What she saw inside the castle was unlike anything her recently evolved person had seen before, the hall was dark with no light penetrating into it but that didn't ender her one bit as she could see well in the dark, if she was asked she would say her eyesight were better in the dark than in the light, she sneaked across the hall.

She could see many door which undoubtedly lead to somewhere inside the castle but her focus was on the door at the other end of the hall, standing beside the massive door were 2 golem, the one on the right side of the door held a spear while the one on the left side of the door held a book on it palm, the vampire careful watch those two golem, she had a gut feeling that something might happen if she approach the other door.

Since her goal was to hide from the sun, she moved away from the golems, she decided to check if there was another being inside the caste, even if she couldn't enter the room that had the golems protecting it she could she make the castle her dwelling place, so she combed through the entire castle within two days.

Inside on if the rooms she found a wardrobe filled with clothes, although all the clothes had the same color it was better than walking naked, she even found a room with bath in it, she was overjoyed but she didn't know why she was, she stepped into the bath and warm water began to feel the bath, the vampire was puzzle on her the water appeared out of nowhere, after the water filled the bath the vampire felt some of her strength leave her body.

But right now she was to relaxed to care about it "Haaaa, so relaxing" the vampire immediately became alert as she hard a strange feminine voice sound beside her, she turned away to where she had assumed the voice came from "Who's there, show yourself" the vampire froze as she noticed the familiarity in the voice, she dropped back into the bath with a smile on her face "I can speak now, this is so cool" the vampire said.

A few hours later she got out of the bath dawning a red leather armor and pant that hug her body tightly, enhancing her perfect shape, her long hair fall freely reaching her waist, "What should I do now" she wondered before opting to search the remaining rooms inside the massive castle.

After going through the 2000 rooms present in the castle, the vampire found training ground inside the castle, different range of wooden weapons were hung on their racks, only one weapon was real it was a long-sword, the sword blade was connected to a C-shape device and the handle was connected to the top of the C-shape device, the device had a small round hole in the middle but the vampire had no idea what it was for.

But nonetheless she picked up the long-sword, immediately her hand touched the sword's handle she could feel the power within the sword, it was like nothing she had ever felt before, she looked around the training ground, not faraway were some training dummies, she walked up to a dummy with the sword in her left hand.

After a few powerful slashes, the vampire was surprised that she can not even make a single dent on the dummy, no matter what she tried, She had fought against some mutilated creatures even since her evolution but this was by far the strongest opponent she had ever faced, although this was her first time using a weapon she had expected to perform better, but with the zeal of training harder in her mind the vampire continued slashing the dummy.

Her aim was to destroy the dummy although and with every attack she could feel her body getting used to the weapon in her hand, it was like the sword was finally accepting her as she could now draw more power from the sword, when she had felt the power the sword was emitting she had tried to draw out the power of the sword but to no avail.

Now she could feel a little bit of the sword's power slipping into her and as she continued to deliver attacks to the dummy she could finally see a small dent on the dummy caused by her last attack, as a creature of near unlimited stamina she continued training for days, it didn't take her long to realize that each dummy were different from each other, and the dummy she had spent a week on to destroy was the weakest of the dummies.

This brought a smile on her face, as she continue to train with the more power dummies, not caring for anything else.
