Troublesome Circumstance

{The Village of the Hidden Leaf, Shikamaru POV}

I can hear my mother yelling at me to wake up, although I was already up I didn't leave the bed, I was thinking of a class to choose from, my only options right now are sealing specialist or Ninjutsu specialist, Taijutsu was out of the question, I can't start body training this hard it will rise a few eyebrows, I live in a Shinobi Village any out of character behavior will bring in question and my father isn't dumb either he can spot the change quickly and then Ino's father will be in my head by the end of the day.

And I'm to lazy for that anyway, now sealing is mostly research and practicing seals doesn't require physical activity, it's the most likely to get me out of my mother's hair, I can say I going to be a sealing master, and she will stop nagging, and my father will see it as me trying to be as lazy as possible while doing some actual work.

So I talked with the Game, whilst I got out of the bed to clean myself up and get ready for the day, ' Game, I want to choose a class'.

I'm quite happy with my choice, WIS make me master a skill faster, right now I have 26 WIS which is pretty good compared with my other status, the Game said that I will be able to increase my status through exercise or through leveling up, and since I can't go on missions yet I have to make sure that they are at least in the 20s by the time I graduate.

I continued my morning routine and went downstairs to eat breakfast, my father looked dead to the outside, he is slouching in his seat amd my mother looked a bit angry, so a normal morning.

" Morning " I said in a bored tone my father grumbled a reply and but my mother said in a strict manner " don't copy your father, I don't know what I did to have such a lazy family" and sighed at the end.

Naras don't talk this early, so me and my father eat in silence, my mom continued to nag, will I don't know if she is nagging or not but to Naras any talk before noon considered nagging, what a troublesome woman.

After breakfast I went to my room to get my school stuff, and wait for Chōji to come, he always comes by my house before going to school.

My mom is yelling again, that means Chōji is at the door, I went down got my lunch and then met him at the door. As I was about to greet him, my mom yelled " don't lazy about at school and learn something, I can't have two deadbeats at my house " , I just sighed, Chōji bless him smiled as if nothing happened.

" Morning Shika, want some chips they're spicy pork flavor " . I smiled at him " morning, no thanks maybe later". And we walked to school in silence, that's why Chōji is my best friend, he knows that I don't speak or listen to anyone this early and he is happy with walking without the need to tell me anything troublesome, I know that if he had something important then he will talk otherwise he'll be silent, except for the munching sound, but hey nobody is perfect.

When we reached the classroom there were a couple of people there already, I went to my seat and slept with my head on the desk, I know that Chōji will wake me up when the class starts.

{The Hokage Tower, 3rd POV}

Hiruzen Sarutobi, hated being a Hokage, he is old and he knows it, his enemies know it, his allies knows it and worst his body felt it . He should be at home, playing with his grandchildren, annoying his children and being a grouchy old man, but here he is still doing this stupid job because no one else can .

Ohh he knew that some people want the job, but none of them are qualified, either they are not strong enough or they don't have the right mindset. Some young people dream of talking his seat , but they don't know what it means to be a Hokage.

A Hokage is someone who carries the will of fire amd that means that they have to carry the hidden leaf ideals, and that is why he had to find his replacement sooner rather than later.

No one right now can be a good enough for the hat, but there were candidates, first are his students, a pervert and a drunk, and both of them didn't want it, then there was Shimura Danzō , he isn't a good choice ohh he thinks that he is but he isn't, being the strongest Village is all that he can think about, he doesn't understand that we are weak and if the Hidden Leaf shows to much militarization then the other Villages will gear up to and we can't win if a war broke out right now.

The Hidden Leaf doesn't have the numbers that it used to or the big names, but we are rich and people are envious of that.

Then there is Shikaku Nara, he is the most likely candidate for the hat, Shikaku's talents would make him a highly-capable Hokage. His skills and reliability garnered him high respect from other powerful ninja, and he is the Jounin commander, but the bastard won't take the job. He would prefer to stay as Jounin commander until someone worthy of the title comes along so he could retire.

The Third Hokage, sat watching his crystal ball, it's an artifact that is linked through out the village with Fuinjutsu, it was made by the first Hokage's wife, most clans have a seal to counter it, but on the public no one can hide from it. It's a great tool to pass the time and relax in piece times and is a great tool to spy on people on war times.

Hiruzen Sarutobi looked at the bird eyes view of the Village and started to look for any entertainment he could find, and he found it quickly, as he saw Naruto running from some Shinobis, Hiruzen knew that this was Naruto cry for attention, but he can't do anything else for him, Hiruzen didn't want to think badly about Naruto, but the kid will not be a good Hokage, he has it backward, he want to be Hokage so people will love him, and it's the other way around, you need to be strong and loved or respected at the very least to be a Hokage.

Naruto was a good hearted kid, but he doesn't understand the meaning of a shinobi, Ohh he suffered and kept going, he has the will to keep going no matter what, but that's the way of the samurai not the Shinobi.

Hiruzen knew that even kid in the school thinks that a shinobi is a hero, most don't understand what that means, and he knew that he was partially to blame for Naruto's problems, but he loved the kid as if he was his own grandson, and he didn't want to destroy his dreams.

So he watched Naruto for a while and reminisced about the innocent of youth, and then he went back to his number one enemy since he became a Hokage PAPERWORK, it has done something that none of his enemies could, it broke his back .

Mizuki went to a place where he check every night for instructions from his master, Mizuki hated the Leaf, he was jealous of how strong some people were, and how the system was so broken, they even allowed the demon child to be a shinobi.

The place where he hide the messages to and from Orochimaru was in a training grounds that was rarely used, he would come here every day under the pretense of training, and go to a hallow tree .

Inside the tree can be opened with a special seal, after running around for a bit and making sure that he wasn't followed, he rested on the tree, making the seal and he found a letter.

After reading the letter, twice and making sure that he didn't miss anything he destroyed it.

' so it's finally the time to act, I need to get Tsubaki ( his fiancee) to go tomorrow morning before me, and I can kidnappe Sasuke at night, I can lure him in with a promise of information about his brother. Now the demon child is easier, but I have to make sure that he keeps quiet. Orochimaru said to be quick about it and not to linger, I want to make him feel the despair, that I felt when the nine tales came, but Orochimaru wanted it to be done quickly and quietly' .
