The Johnson mansion was twice bigger than Lianne's. At the long table, four people sat across from each other. On one side was the old couple, while on the other was the young couple.
Annie took a sip of the chicken soup.
"How is it?" Patrick asked with anticipation. He looked like he was the one who cooked the soup.
"It is truly very delicious. I did not know that mother can cook dishes like this." Anna was not stingy with praises. She had to be in a good relationship with them after all.
She had no plans to divorce for a second time, or else, her reputation would plummet low without return. Thus, she planned to make the marriage work out.
Patrick smiled proudly.
Seeing her son's proud look because of her, Mrs. Jonhnson finally felt that the exhaustion in her body was worth it.
While eating the meal, Anna elbowed Patrick.
