Deep In Thoughts.

Sitting on the huge, comfy sofa were the elder Ah couples and right next to them was Ah Si with his comfy clothes, consisting mainly of black T-shirt and black, clean cut torino stretch pants. He looked chic and comfortable. With the book in his hand, he looked liked the favourable and famous highschool student amongst the screaming girls.

Despite his comfortable demeanour and outlook, his face features were ice-cold, distancing him from the maids who were gushing him with their flirty looks and desperate eyes. Sitting next to him was his private secretary and brother-in-law, Lu Jung. He had a white t-shirt, a black sport pants and accompanying on it with a grey cardigan that completed his manly charm. He sat at the sofa with a faint chuckle on the side of his mouth.

Sitting on the carpet, between her mothers leg was Ai, who had a black flowy dress with f

small flower prints on it. She was laughing her heart out. Her hair was let down, with her mothers slender and fair hands massaging it. Tears were oozing out of her eyes, due to laughter.

Her brothers icy look swept pass her and she immediately coughed, stifling her laughter in.

But seeing his flustered look, she let out another one. And that too, a huge one. She couldn't help it. His face was too hilarious..

"Mum, after that.. Bebo asked her for a ride." She looked at her brother and stopped laughing. His gaze was more chilly now. He looked like he will devour her the next second if she didn't shut her mouth.

"Really?," Feeling tremendously happy with the news, Mother Ah's face was really bright. Her dear son finally found 'the' one?

"Bebo, have you considered? Are you going to ask her out?"Ai suddenly became eager and looked at her brother with a hopeful eyes, the chandelier lights radiating on her pupils.

"What do you mean?" Not understanding her words, Ah Si looked at her with frowny face and an annoyed look.

"My sister in law. Are you going to ask her out?" Finding his words too atrocious, Ai looked back at him with an equally annoyed look. Her beautiful face replaced with a ridiculed one.

"I don't know." He spoke calmly and rested his head back on his mother's lap. There was no room left for arguments.

After seeing his solemn face, Ai dropped her face and pinched between her eyebrows. She sighed and carefully stood up, placing one hand on the floor and her other hand on her back.

"Oh lord, never mind. I will help you with that! Love, you need to help my bebo find the girls detail, and from there we can start our 'happy ending mission', what say?"

With those words, Lu Jung immediately coughed. At the end of the day, this brother and sister shared the same brain cells! First it was her brother, now his wife was also asking for the unknown girls information.

"My love.." Lu Jung stood up and awkwardly smiled between Ah Si and Ai. "How about we send her flowers and huge letter expressing brothers feelings for her instead." Ai looked at him and contemplated for a bit. Finding her love's word too romantic, Ai didn't argue but agreed, nodding her head vigorously.

Ah Si looked at them and then at his parents who were too excited. He felt like his family went crazy. Why were they all after him? Couldn't they stop this discussion? It has been 3 hours, god damn!

"Why are you all talking about my relationship with her? She probably doesn't even remember me.."

Finding his words somehow truthful, Ah Si's face was suddenly dark and gloomy. He felt like thousands of emotions were brewing inside him, just like how it had been for the past few weeks. His gaze became dark and he looked at Lu Jung.

"What happened to the reports that were supposed to arrive by my desk?"

"Brother, the procedure took long and Brother Qeng said the security around that girl is really top notch.." Lu Jung swallowed the bun he took bite off earlier and replied honestly while looking down. His hands and back started to sweat slowly. He looked at Ai and showed his helpless pity look to her.

Love, please tell him to not look at me..

Seeing the situation. The whole family looked at A

h Si and were confused with his sudden change of emotions. Why was he irritated and annoyed?

Ai tho, chuckled at her brothers expression.

Her brother has been trying to get hold of the girls info for the past two weeks, but to no avail. Who wouldn't be vexed and exasperated at this point?

She looked at her Father and sat down next to him. She calmly spoke out.

"Daddy, what do you say? Should we ask for the girl's hand from the Li's? Or even better, get the formalities ready and we bring that along with us to them?"

Hearing Ai's word, Ah Si's chilling gaze dissipated a little. His eyes turned warmer and his brain showed a beautiful scene of him and the little girl in her wedding attire. The calming nature with the birds singing a far and them reciting their wedding vows. Her brown eyes that showed the world in a beautiful natural calm way. Her tanned skin that was smooth like a milk chocolate melting. Her legs that was tall and her cascading brown hair that was silky and flowed with the wind. Everything was perfect about her. His heart started to ponder against his chest loudly. He felt wonderful with the scene in his head and unknowingly he smiled.

Just as he was thinking, he felt a piece of chips being thrown to his face. He looked up and noticed his little sister with a pack of chips and a small smile plastered at the edge of her mouth.

"Was sis-in-law beautiful?" Hearing the tease in her tone, Ai and everyone started to laugh at the embarrassed guy infront of them. The atmosphere started to warm up and everyone was discussing about Aizhe. Seeing the look of content on his family members face, Ah Si leaned his head on his mother lap and he picked the book once more and started to dissolve with the characters of the book, forgetting to equip or pay attention to their conversations.

Calming down a bit, Ah Qiao nodded and looked at his wife."Li Family is not bad." Su Ling gasped at her husband's word, not believing it. She shooked her hubands arms vigorously and looked at him with a dissatisfied look.

"Darling, we can't just go like that. We need to know the girl and her family first. And we also need to let them get to know and fall for each other. It has only been couple of weeks and they have only met up once. What if she refuses without knowing my Si?"

Probbing his head into thought, Ah Qiao felt his wife's word somehow true. He looked at his son who was reading the book, and sighed. He nodded his head, agreeing with his wife.

"You are probably right.. don't worry! We will take it slowly." Ah Qiao couldn't control his excitement and he looked at his son who was calm and focused.

Ah Si went after his grandfather. He never had any emotions showing on his solemn face since he was young. Compared to Ai, who was brought up with loving and nice upbringing, filled with maternal and paternal love, he went under difficult training and strict upbringing..and that slowly start to show as he grew up. He never argued or whined like the children his age and he always stood far from the people his age. He stood out, like a colorful chameleon in a group of wild lizards. He was proud and arrogant, but deep down he lacked and yearned for the attention and love he was supposed to have in his childhood.

Looking at it now, his son was finally starting to show his emotions. He felt relived and happy. He couldn't wait to meet this unknown girl, who changed his dear so much!

To be honest, Ah Qiao was dumbfounded with the news of the girl at first. His paternal side even showed up and he was curious and hesitant about this alliance, but knowing his son, he was relaxed back and he let the matter unfold in it's own. He knew for sure that Ah Si wouldn't bring home any sort of girl who would break the Ah's long lasting traditions and rules. The kingdom that his father, grandfather, great grandparents created with their blood and sweat were unbinding and unbreakable for sure and Ah Si was the sole foundation and protector of it. If he did anything that would bring defamation or bad reputation then the outcome will be really cruel and unjust to the whole Ah Famillie. Everyone in the Ah famillie knew the decision laid in the cruel hands of the elder and the only person who can say 'no' to those decisions was his son, Ah Si.

"Mother, I was just kidding. Hehe" Hearing her mothers panicked justification, Ai awkwardy sat down and then pouted.

'How long till she becomes my sister-in- law?'

Ai sighed and looked at her brother. "Bebo, can you please speed up your romantic story? We are all waiting for the good news."

"Shut up!" Ah Si was feeling happy with the conversation between his parents when he suddenly heard his little sisters words. He stood up from his mother's lap and threw a pack of chips on her face.

Who was slow? He just didn't want to mess up anything..

"Si, don't throw the chips at her..careful!" Su Ling felt tensed when she saw her grown up adults running around like 5 year old kids.

"Ai, careful.." Lu Jung looked up from his laptop and threw a warning glance at the running girl.

Ignoring their words, Ai stood up and ran around the living room for several laps with Ah Si running after her. He was fuming as he caught up to her in no time, locking his arms around her necks. Ai felt breathless as she tried to prey his hands of her.

'This horrible person!' Ai exclaimed inwardly.

"Now say, who is slow?" He looked at the out of breath girl and slowly let go of her. "Tsk, look at you, you can't even run for one lap and you talk about others being slow!"

The Ah couple looked at the shameless guy and shook their head. He was really good at taking revenge..he didn't even spare his own blood sister.

"Brother, I found it! Brother, I have asked secretary Ni for the information details and she sent me."

"What, really? Show us too, son." Hearing his words, Ah Qiao and Su Ling went forward to look too. Ai also stopped bickering with Ah Si and tried to look at the tablet. They were all curious, and seeing that Ah Si frowned and his gaze deepened with displeasure.

'Who was getting to know the girl again? Why did it feel like his treasure was being taken away from him?'

"Mother, Father. How about I read out?" Lu Jung felt congested with so many people suddenly to pry at his small laptop. On top of that, his dear brother-in-law was sending daggers with his terrifying gaze. How was this his fault again?

Oh yeah, he was supposed to only confirm it with his brother-in-law..

"Yes, read it out for us." Pulling Ah Qiao, Mother Su sat down on the sofa, seeming excited. Ai pulled Ah Si who was irked and crossing his arms over to sit on the floor too. They were all patiently waiting for the information detail to be read out.

Lu Jung looked at the excited audience and chuckled. He cleared his throat and began to read it out.

"Brother, Li Aizhe is a twenty two years old as of this year. She has graduated from De Mon University and has no siblings. She was born and raised in a small village called Hongcai. She seems to have lived there for all her life, but according to those who went to Li Lina's 21st birthday bash on 10th of august, Ms. Aizhe came to the Li mansion at that same night. It has been 4 weeks now and according to our sources, she has been living there since then. Li family has top notch security, so we couldn't access too much information. But her life in Hongcai, and anything before that has been fully wiped out. Her details and her existence itself is hidden from the social circle. Her relationship with Mr. Li is also hidden. Say, should I send more mens to search for her information?" Lu Jung glanced away from the laptop towards to the silent family members. Ah Si and Ai were quiet and looked quite deep in thoughts and the Ah couple were also silent.

"Bebo, why are the Li family trying to erase her past?" Ai, who was sitting next to him, glanced at him with a curious look. Ah Si looked at her with a calm gaze and replied indifferently. "No clue."

With a deep gaze, he stood up and replied to his brother-in-law. "Lu Jung, don't inquire more. And let me know about the Li business. I need more copious detail on this matter. Let them not get any wind of it."

"Brother, I have heard that the Li groups are doing surprise banquet party next week. All sorts of famous media outlets are invited and the whole Ah socialist are expected. What do you think are their sole intention regarding this party?" Lu jung calmly looked at Ah Si and spoke up with a careful inquiring tone.

"Get an invitation card." With his expressionless tone, he spoke out that four clear words and left the room indifferently.

"Son, get one for all of us. We would like to also see our future daughter-in-law." Ah Qiao sighed and stood up, along with Su Ling.

Ai looked at the situation and then at Lu Jung. She stood up and went forward to him. Her eyelashes quivered and Lu Jung looked at her doubtfully.

Not just Ah Si, she also seemed to be deep in thoughts..

Ai looked up and noticed his curious gaze and she held his hands. "Love, I don't know why, but everytime I think of Aizhe, there is this amazing feeling I get from her. I don't want to think too much, but I understand Bebo too.

"What happened?" He caressed her cheeks and asked her carefully.

Ai looked into his warm gaze and sighed.

"Last time, when me and Bebo were in the café with her, sis-in-law got so tensed by the mention of Hongcai? What do you think happened in there? Why would they erase her past in Hongcai village?"

"We can only know that if she volunteered to tell us herself. Let's not prompt further into this matter."

The two were left in the living room and the earlier happy gathering was brought down to a thundering cold atmosphere.

Reaching his room, Ah Si sat on the large grey sofa and crossed his long legs over one another. He leaned back on the head of the comfy sofa and sat like the demon king he was. With the bright chandelier basking down on him, he was in a deep thoughts.
