Episode 15: Worries (5)

As the two hunters hurriedly made their way over towards the entrance of Beverly Acres Park, they saw the sight of a black car pulling up on the sidewalk. There, Jace and Malory could be seen exiting the vehicle.

"Thank you," the brown-haired woman bowed to the driver at the front.

"Heyyy! You guys!" Following her gesture, Landon's voice could be heard echoing through the streets, calling out to them. "Over here!"

"Huh? Oh... Landon, Derek," the black-haired man next to Malory blinked. "Were you guys waiting out here this entire time?"

"Nope!" Derek replied. "We were waiting in the park. But, when you guys said that you were arriving, we just decided to head out to the entrance. It wasn't that long of a wait!"

"Hmm, I see." Nodding his head in reply in the next second, Jace began glancing around the area. "And Penelope?"

"Still no reply," the blonde-haired man sighed. "We're considering checking up on her."
