Once Granny Sharon had calmed down, William led her to her room. Granny Avira stayed behind, taking Dahlia by the hand and guiding her to another room.
"I have a night dress for you." She said kindly, holding out the soft fabric.
Dahlia took the dress, giving the woman a small smile. "Thank you." She replied softly.
"Do you need anything else?" Granny Avira asked, and Dahlia shook her head.
"No, I'm fine. Thank you for everything." With a warm smile, Granny Avira left her alone to change.
The night dress was a far cry from Dahlia's usual style, its simple, classic cut and floral print a world away from her usual fashion choices. But it was comfortable and soft, and she couldn't deny that it was a relief to be out of her dress and heels.
