Chapter 7, A Handsome Beast_1

Ji Nuan had just seen a red bird pecking at these fruits. If a bird could eat it, it must be edible. She picked a "mini-sausage" and carefully scraped off a bit with her teeth to taste it.

The spicy sensation instantly spread across her mouth. This taste was all too familiar; it was the orc equivalent to a "chili pepper".

Ha ha, as a person who couldn't live without spicy food, how could she not eat chili peppers?

Delicious roasted chicken with some red fruit and chili pepper, Ji Nuan smacked her lips. The drool was threatening to build into a flood.

After waking up, all she had eaten was a burnt piece of roast meat that was raw inside. It was bitter, astringent, and fishy, truly indescribable.

While Ji Nuan was looking forward to savouring Chinese food, she didn't realize her foodie actions had been observed by an orc.

Xiu Yan watched the young female, her radiant eyes feasting on the bird food. He couldn't help but twitch his lips. Was she starving?

She's actually eating bird food.

He hadn't noticed before, but this girl was both thin and ugly, with a head smaller than his fist.

Raising his good-looking eyebrows, Xiu Yan moved his long legs and was by Ji Nuan's side in an instant.

Ji Nuan, lost in her food fantasies, was startled by the sound of footsteps. She quickly jumped up and held the basket, her face vigilant as she looked in the direction of the noise.

Looking in the direction of the sound, she wondered if the sight had nearly blinded her titanium alloy eyes.

This orc was really handsome.

He was over two meters tall, with silver hair cascading over his muscular back. He was shirtless, wearing only a beast skin skirt of the same color as his hair, and Ji Nuan knew that this was his beast form.

She cautiously raised her head to glance at the man's features before quickly lowering her head and retreating a step, barely managing to suppress a scream.

This man, with his deep-set features, clear contours, and deep wolf eyes radiating indifference, was none other than Uncle Xiu Li's son, Xiu Yan.

He surely was a cool and handsome orc!

He was a Silver Wolf Orc, one of the strongest in the tribe, and moreover...

Ji Nuan retreated another step. Silver Wolf Orcs were known for their cleanliness, their silver fur was always glossy and smooth. She thought about her own dirty appearance.

Ji Nuan frowned. Even though she didn't think she could end up with such a mighty and handsome orc, facing such a handsome orc looking this ridiculous still made her skin burn and her heart felt like a dam bursting in sorrow.

Right now, Xiu Yan was feeling a bit helpless. The fact that the girl was scared and defensive at his sight made his prominent eyebrows twitch; he tore off a whole leg from the boar on his shoulder and tossed it at her feet, his lips slightly lifting: "Here."

By the time Ji Nuan recovered from the surprise of being fed by a handsome orc, all that was left for her was a pork leg, thicker than her waist, mocking her weakness.

The handsome orc who had caused her heart to race had already disappeared.

"Ah~" Ji Nuan let out a deep sigh, "I finally met a handsome orc, but he didn't say a word and gave me his prey."

She scratched her tangled hair. Xiu Yan must have given her the meat because he felt sorry for her.

She couldn't take his prey for free. Ji Nuan heaved the pork leg onto her shoulder and wiped her face.

If this had happened on Earth, someone hauling a pig and carrying a chicken like this would definitely be considered a Kong Barbie.

Picking some chili peppers, Ji Nuan headed back towards where she had discovered the flock of chickens. She planned to catch a few more chickens, roast them up nicely and give them to Xiu Yan as her thank you gift.
