Lei Jin's Worry

~~On the ship~~

Lei Jin stood at the front of the ship looking out into the depths of the void. He looked out far and wide, taking in the view. He needed time to reflect on a few matters. He thought about the situation with the Ink Giant Spirit God from before. While some had wanted to come and talk to him, he turned them away. Even Qing Ning tried to convince others not to disturb him. It wasn't like others could add anything to his thoughts. Even the wives linked to him knew there was nothing.

As a result everyone else drank and talked about the future. Some of the couples that were coming along seemed to be more interested in the Fertility Aura than had been expected. After the others had talked more it had actually been that these couples weren't forced. It was just that it had been difficult before for them to be together. It was thanks to having a need that made it easier. In short they had been fond of their partners for more than just a few months, it was closer to decades.

"Why is the Pillar Disciple all alone over there? He looks like he is deep in thought." One of the 12 guests asked, after becoming thoroughly drunk.

"My husband takes care of a great deal of matters. So if he is not busy he reflects on events to better his own thoughts in the future. He is also the Pillar Disciple." Qing Ning replied, not revealing too much to those who don't need to know all of the inner workings.

"A Pillar Disciple must have many responsibilities. Must be stressful." Another guest stated, hiccupping.

Supreme Elder Azure Heart finally decided to go and stand next to Lei Jin again. This time she didn't give a damn about him asking her to leave. It had been long enough. They were not too much further away from 'Azure Void' their home.

"Tell me, what are your thoughts on the events in 'Ancestral Land'?" Lei Jin sighed, knowing that his mother in law wouldn't leave him alone this time.

"So that's what you've been thinking about." Supreme Elder Azure Heart sighed, drinking from a jug of wine.

"That and other things as well. However, I'm curious what you think about the situation. Rather to be more specific. The human race's divine abilities that surrounded the area before entry." Lei Jin asked, plainly.

"I don't know for sure. Though if I had to guess. Those were placed there to damage the Ink Giant Spirit God in the event it broke from its shackles and left." Supreme Elder Azure Heart, pondered now also deep in thought as she realized another thing and her eyes widened.

"It seems you understood. The information we have says that there are many killing arrays and divine abilities in another spot. Does it not?" Lei Jin said. "In any case I'm going to order a Supreme Elder along with 12 Elders and 3 palace Artifacts to deploy at once followed by the might of 3 ships full of 120 6th rank open heaven. Each with 10 5th rank open heavens. We will need a force that strong to deal with any accidents in case they arise." Lei Jin sighed.

" I agree though that will be quite the deployment. Other forces may think we are going to war." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said.

"Let them think that. It's not like we aren't already at war against an existential enemy. Besides, if they think they will be attacked then let them. It's not like I have to allow their force or any one related to their worlds to use my Fertility Aura." Lei Jin said, annoyed at the thought anyone could dare to draw their blades at his force.

"Indeed, I'll get to work on the arrangements the moment we return. But, this wasn't everything was it?" Supreme Elder Azure Heart said, glancing at Lei Jin.

"It is becoming harder to hide things from you." Lei Jin sighed, annoyed that this point wasn't concealable.

"Oh Jin'er, I have known you for a while now. I'm used to your mannerisms by now." Supreme Elder Azure Heart giggled.

"You won't be laughing after considering my next questions." Lei Jin sighed, hoping Azure Heart would give up, it was in vain. "Do you ever think about how I'm this strong? And the fact I can create these true rainbows? Now there is one that can be drawn from to birth more for an open heaven realm cultivator to use. No matter what way you look at it. The Rainbows are slowly becoming capable of providing similar function to the Ink Nests." Lei Jin said.

Chills ran down Supreme Elder Azure Hearts' spine upon hearing this. "Jin'er means… there might be an ink clan as strong as you out there?" She asked.

"I have mentioned before that Ink is the originator of the Ink Clan. It's just infuriating that I haven't seen it before and have no understanding of its power. I can only hope that when I breakthrough my strength will be enough." Lei Jin said.

"There is a lot riding on you Jin'er but don't let it get to you too much. I think you'll be fine. You are already clearly stronger than you were before the trip." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said.

"I need to send a message to the other side of the gate. I want a team that is prepared for the trip to advance early. This information can not be delayed and must reach the Dragon Emperor and Phoenix Empress along with all of the Old Ancestors. They need to be on the lookout for Ink Giant Spirit Gods and Ink himself." Lei Jin said.

"Isn't Ink sealed away somewhere?" Supreme Elder Azure Heart asked.

"Indeed. However, if it were me. And peak old Ancestors were to seal me away. I'd only need at most ten thousand years to break through the seal. As I am now. That seal must be intense and something incredible to hold such a being. However, no matter how strong a cage is…" Lei Jin said.

The shivers came back. "... A strong beast will find a way to break free of it. It is simply a matter of time." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said, slowly, realizing the true severity of the situation.
