Benefits Of Rumors

~~Several Years Later~~

"Master, master! Disciples have completed their mission. The list has been completed. And there seems to be some kind of odd change. I wonder if Master had anticipated this change?" The eldest Disciple reported, from inside Lei Jin's Inner Domain. 

"Oh? Seems like I was right. Very interesting. You four may take a 100 years break from this task. Go and experience the world. If you happen to find a lover… Make sure to ask for my permission as well before marrying." Lei Jin spoke to them. 

"Then we will depart after the last of our arrays finishes with creating the other worlds. We tried to send in a set of rank 9 resources a few years back and it looks like it is about ready to finish." The youngest of the four Disciples reported. 

"No worries, I'll take care of it. You should all go and take your break. You've earned it." Lei Jin said, his voice resonating in the Void. Passing over his disciples like a warm current. Making them all feel absolutely ecstatic. 

The four disciples went on their way to do their own thing. However, the four of them knew exactly who they wanted to be with already. It would be hard for anyone not to have feelings when they were raised so close together. These four were childhood friends. Their relatives close in age were also close friends. It truly was a tight knit group of family. 

~~Azure Void's Flagship~~

"So those four have finally realized they were in love all this time. I sort of feel bad for that boy. His three Martial Sisters are going to run him ragged." Zi Rong said, with a giggle towards the end. 

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. If he dares to step up. He will naturally gain the ability. I'm sure they will be fine." Lei Jin said. "I'm more interested to see the results of my tests. And it looks like I was indeed right. A whole second one of those World Arrays has started. Moreover I now have four 9th rank worlds in that one. This is going to be quite interesting." He continued, as he watched the progress of the Army at the same time. 

"It does seem like the progress of the Army has been improved. Husband having us spread that rumor was a good idea. The untouched young women started trying significantly harder to prove themselves." Ling Shi said, keeping track of the improvement. 

"It's not just the human young women either. There are many other ancient divine spirits who have made rapid improvement. Not mentioned that some of them have all but declared who they wish their husband to be. Of course they did this by detailing non-specifics. Which was quite a relief." Lein Yue explained. 

"It was indeed fortunate that they stated their desires in such ways. Because it seems to have had an effect on the morale of the men as well." Le Xue added. 

"It's impressive just how large an effect this rumor had. It's almost like people's growth speed was enhanced. Even their soul's growth not only went un-hindered. But it improved." Gu Pan explained her view. 

"Many sisters are right. Though it is a shame that we can't tell them that the rumor is true until after the battle with the Ink Clan at the earliest. There are several Martial Sisters among the army that would fit well in our family." Xia Meili sighed. 

"Sister Xia, don't get too discouraged. When the time comes all of us sisters will be able to help you fill that dream of yours." Chen Yun giggled. "I also wish to have several more." She continued, placing a hand on her belly. 

"I'm sure everything will work out fine in the future. Husband will definitely give us many more children. So sister Chen and sister Xia shouldn't worry much about it." Ruo Xi smiled, holding their hands. 

"In any case, it does not matter. The only sisters I will accept are the ones who are worthy. If they choose to be with another man before the rumor is confirmed by Husband in a public statement… Then they were simply not fated to be in our family. And it would make them unworthy to lay in Husband's bed." Qing Ning said, calmly. 

"There is no point in worrying over it right now. But we will have to keep figuring out methods to keep the rumor going. Since it is indeed the truth we wouldn't want the opposite result to take hold. Perhaps if all of you do what Na Luo did a few years ago… Just only do it to combat false rumors. I don't want the idea to be the only thing they focus on. There will be plenty of time for matters of the heart after we rid the world of the Ink Clan once and for all." Lei Jin said.

"That was indeed a risky move but I can see how it would help. But what should we do if the rumor becomes widespread to the point everyone believes it?" Xin Xia asked. 

"If that day comes sooner than the fall of the Ink Clan… Then we can only tell the full story. And if any woman isn't right for our family, it's not like their child won't be a fit for one of our children. We already have over a thousand children, after all. But we should let this matter go for now and pay attention to the army's growth." Qing Ning said, ending the topic. 

Lei Jin went back to studying his Inner Domain. His wives and Concubines discussed other matters and oversaw the army's training, while attending to their own training. Getting a massive boost from their love making a few years ago. 

~~In Lei Jin's Domain~~

Lei Jin's disciples had come back and started working again. Their insights from exploring the Inner Domain on their own were not small. And thus had a much greater respect for the work they were doing. And for their Master. 

Lei Jin on the other hand, was currently investigating a new astonishing discovery in his Inner Domain. "I knew that a whole new Array would form. Little did I suspect this would happen. I bet that the 9th ranks outside are going to love this development." He thought, with a curious smirk on his face.
