Azure Hearts Condition

"That's better." Supreme Elder Azure Heart smiled happily. "Isn't that right." She said in a babied tone looking at the baby in her arms.

"Mother is too energetic. But it seems like our child likes their grandmother a lot." Xin Xia smiled over at Lei Jin. Half wanted her baby back and half happy that Supreme Elder Azure Heart was so happy.

"My love is right, today is a great day indeed. I have 9 adorable children with more on the way. I have you to thank for this." Lei Jin started saying and then appearing before Xin Xia. He pulled her close as could be their bodies touching so close that the other could feel the others very well. He then lifted her chin and stared into her eyes. "Thank you for being one of my beautiful wives. And thank you for giving me such a cute kid. I love you too much for words to capture." He said, kissing Xin Xia lovingly, enjoying every bit of their union together. The other 8 wives could clearly feel a similar situation through their connection but it was clear that their turn was coming.

~~A few moments Later~~

"Jin'er you've grown quite a bit in such a short time. I'm proud of you." Supreme Elder Azure Heart mentioned in her observation.

"Mother, jests? I haven't changed that much in the last few months have I?" Lei Jin said, floating in the air with his legs crossed.

"You used to think of everything so seriously. Now, you are so happy even you can't contain it. It's truly a great thing. And I'm glad I came out to see this day." Supreme Elder Azure Heart smiled, handing her last grandbaby back to their mother.

"I see, in that case mother is right, I have lightened up a little. Something about seeing my own children born safely into this world… Just makes me happy. Now, then could you tell me more about how you managed to Deplete an entire True Rainbow? That was the same one I use for the Azure Void Cave Heaven. Was it too weak?" Lei Jin said, quickly changing the topic now that it was just him and Supreme Elder Azure Heart sitting there.

"It seems that I am able to promote but it feels like I am missing something. I can't quite sense it completely. I did use the True Rainbow to help support my cultivation but once it ran out I had to come out." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said.

"Allow me to check your cultivation and see if I can find anything." Lei Jin said, readying his hand. Supreme Elder Azure Heart nodded, then Lei Jin placed his hand on her stomach and began inspecting. A look of difficulty appeared on his face and then it turned into a look of realization. Lei Jin removed his hand and then pondered for a moment.

"What are you thinking Jin'er?" Supreme Elder Azure Heart asked, curiously.

"I don't sense anything wrong but there are some tiny thread-like strands that seem to contain a massive degree of power. It's quite odd. But there are ten of them. Perhaps it has to do with the number of… Mother, what do you say to migrating 50 thousand people to live in your Small Universe? I believe this might be the final piece of the puzzle." Lei Jin answered.

"Do you have that many people to spare? That's not a small number." Supreme Elder Azure Heart asked, with a mixed look on her face.

"True I don't have nearly enough people but if it is for mother's sake to promote to the 9th Rank then even a small setback would be worth it. I'll let you decide who you want to take with you. It would be for the best if they are not able to reach the Emperor Realm as it is now. And here is your new True Rainbow. I'll make sure that it won't deplete nearly as fast this time." Lei Jin said, with a look of shock that something was really able to consume the whole thing once before. It adds a whole new layer of difficulty to his task of handing it out to all of the Cave Heaven & Paradises.

"Then I'll be troubling you too much. I swear I'll pay this back in the future." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said with a mixed look on her face. She knew this was not an easy thing for Lei Jin to do. But the fact he was willing to do so… Showed just how much he valued his Mother-in-Law's Cultivation growth.

"It's not too much. It is what I should do. Having another 9th rank is a good thing for my human race after all. Besides that, the current size of my family can be directly traced back to Mother-in-laws' insistence on me taking so many wives." Lei Jin laughed it off slightly. Even though it would definitely not be easy for him to lose so many people in one fell swoop. "Darling! Jin'er is going to give me people to live in my Small Universe. Isn't he such a nice boy?" Supreme Elder Azure Heart shouted in excitement for such a great gift.

"Oh! This sounds interesting. I'd like some people to live in my Small Universe as well. I won't take too many just the same you promised to Senior Sister Azure Heart. How many is that by the way?" Supreme Elder Mei said with glistening eyes, like she just caught a big piece of meat.

"Achem… I'd also like to have some as well. It would be a great boon to my Cultivation." Supreme Elder Hong said, giving not so subtle hints to what he wanted.

"I would also be willing to accept such an astounding gift. Of course once I reach the 8th rank." Elder Kong said, acting like a little kid begging for a treat.

At that moment Lei Jin nearly passed out twitching. He fell backwards as he recalled just how much effort went into cultivating the current number of people and here all of a sudden he was going to lose so much. 200 thousand people below the Peak Emperor Realm would be taken away just like that.
