Chapter 662: Derik interferes

"As I said earlier you don't have to worry... Heal up quickly... I will keep them busy until then..." Derik said calmly as he stood with his hands behind him.

The massive skeleton was quickly consumed by scorching green flames and was reduced to dust while the dust gathered and took the form of the powerful death scythe. He levitated by Derik's side like a living thing that had a mind of its own.

Derik could have just used the life element to heal Lucien almost instantly but he didn't do so. Not because he forgot but simply because he was not interested. He is aware of Lucien's strength outside the anomaly and had a rough idea of how strong he should be within the anomaly. For them to put him in such a precarious situation, they must either be extremely strong or have some sort of grade one sealed artifacts on them.

Only the presence of three sealed artifacts can put Lucien in a disadvantaged situation.
