Chapter 5 - The real journey begins!

Zenki arrived at the eastern parts border near four. Looking once again at his previous home only to see that the smoke is already gone. This means that someone already know about the corpse and the Dragonoids if it didn't completely turn into ashes. There maybe someone trailing him know. He knew that Julius now know about him being connected to the Dragonoid incident, although no one knew his name they knew how he looks like.

Proceeding to his new goal he sprinted forward hearing a stream of water, indicating that's there's a river nearby. He planned to craft a small barge for transportation. Using his dagger as a sword, he swiftly cut some bamboos into sizes he planned. He then connected the bamboos using the vines to complete it. It's not that large, only 3 meters wide and 5 meters long.

It's just enough to carry another person, he originally planned it to be much smaller but he might have to bring some food. He then crafted a long stick used for stirring. The barge only took him 30 minutes to craft as its easy to cut the bamboo with his sharp dagger. Luckily, he can control when the dagger releases poison if not, it would be annoying when using it for daily uses and obviously for hunting. Although he's immune to poison, he wouldn't want to consume it like it was food.

Carrying his barge while sweating profusely, thanks to his improved strength he didn't need to take a break. Putting down the barge he slowly push it into the river. As he mount the barge he used the long stick to pushed it completely over the river.

The barge he craft bounced as water splashed hitting him. After a while he 'sailed' down the river feeling the strong gust of wind, while eating a snack. The river will lead to another forest where he could stay for the night. This journey to the Northern Mountains is quite long, he will pass through quite a number villages and mountains. Although there is a village along the way he didn't plan to stay in one of them.

He need to get to the Northern Mountains as fast as possible. He would be there not just because of training purposes, not also because someone is currently hunting him, but he promised to be in his sisters birthday and it will in a month or so. He couldn't afford a teleporter pad, so he needs to get to the nearest city which is in the Northern Mountains.

After an hour he stopped the barge pulling it to side of the river, made a small campfire and prepared his things beside. It still an hour before it turns dark, so he scrutinized the whole area and hunt some food.

After walking around the area, he spotted a Red Beaked Chicken and immediately jumped from his hiding spot while slashing his katana to cut its head. Even without head, the chiken still runned its best. He chuckled as he saw the headless chiken run. 'Silly Chiken' he thought.

He roamed a bit more before finally going back to his camp while carrying a headless chiken. Suddenly, he heard a girl crying as she yelled for help and a slapping sound. 'What's that?' slowly he approached the place where the sound is coming from.

"Let me have you! You're not going anywhere unless I taste that ass of yours! Hehe." A burly man with a moustache touching the girls face as his other hand is ripping the girl's suit. The suit is black and meant for combat but thanks to the man's strength it didn't take a minute before ripping it in half exposing her heavenly peaks.

The girl is fair skinned, black haired with red streaks at the end. After teleporting a few hours ago, she appeared in the middle of this forest, she didn't encounter danger yet as no ferocious monster lives here for people already cleaned almost all of it. Unfortunately for her, she was spotted by a perverted old man. Dragging her deeper in the forest. She was currently almost naked as she was forced to lie down by the pervert.

"No!! Don't touch me!! Please!! Someone help!!" she yelled while sobbing as she tried to protect her genitals from the filthy hands of her molester.

Zenki climed up a tree to get a better view and see what's going on. Seeing the man's face he's shocked for he recognized who the man is. Its the same man who almost killed him yesterday. The one who robbed the crystal from him. He didn't know but this man is also the one who exposed his identity to the group that's hunting the Dragonoid.

Seeing the man is continuing the assault, he didn't hesitate to attack for he couldn't afford to watch such beautiful lady being disrespected. He summoned his dagger slowly approaching the guy from the back. He could smell a scent of alcohol from the man 'He's drunk he can't detect me as long as I don't make a sound.' The man again slapped the girls face while he continues his attempt to r*pe the girl.

Zenki slowly creep at the back of the man, he tightly held his dagger while aiming for the man's back.

Then burly man enjoying the sight of the peaks, he planned to grab it to feel how soft and delicate it would be. The man continued his thoughts as he salivate for the delicacy in front, hovering his hand trying touch the exquisite peaks. Suddenly he felt a sharp and stabbing pain on his back and widens his eyes. The man can't move his body, slowly his whole body became numb.

The young girl screamed in fear as she saw the perverted old man being engulfed by green veins and blood oozing from his mouth. The old man fell, being pushed by a hand from his back. The young girl was left aghast from the incident but when she saw a young handsome man saving her she's immediately lost in thoughts.

From her point of view she saw a young handsome man with ink black hair and leaf green 'sparkling' eyes. He was her hero.

"Are you alright?" although that would be a dumb question he still ask for doesn't know how to approach the situation.

The girl nodded shedding her tears as it crazily fall making her sob. "Shh... Everything we'll be fine don't worry I'm here no ones gonna touch you while I'm on watch" he said gently patting the head of the girl. Scanning the young girl's body he blushed, turning around, and grabbing a clean black hoodie of him.

Passing it to the girl he said "Wear this for now, I have a small camp nearby we can talk there."

The girl blushed as she look at her almost naked self, she nodded as approval to the mans idea. After wearing the hoodie the girl followed the man until she spotted a campfire. Its already night when they arrived so Zenki proceeded to cook as he asked the girl.

"I'm Zenki, may I know your name?" he looked at the girl, smiling brightly seeing the cute petite girl wearing a long black hoodie like a dress not revealing her flawless thighs.

"Mmmm" she nodded. "My friends call Mich, you can call me that way as well." she smiled sweetly. For her Zenki is her hero, saviour, and she would do all she can to bring the favor back. Although she's still a bit shock, she tried to calm herself cause he know that Zenki will protect her at the moment.

"Okay Mich it is, Please take a sit." Zenki pointed at a log near the campfire. The girl nodded and sitting at the log he pointed. " May I know how did it end up like that?" Zenki asked while cooking the Red Beaked Chicken.

"Yeah, I just spawned here a few hours ago. I roamed a bit trying to find the nearest village, unfortunately I bumped to that pervert. He dragged me deeper to the forest and planned to r*pe me luckily you came. My original plan is to get to the nearest city possible and teleport back to my home, tell my family where I am and they will send someone to get me there then soon proceed to my cultivation." she said seriously. She didn't try to hide anything from him for she's already grateful for the valor he showed.

"Oh the nearest is in this way." he pointed north. "Just follow the stream and you'll see a forest, walk a bit on the edge of the forest and you'll see a pathway and that will lead you to Missed Oak City, head to the Dragon Fury Sect as they are the friendliest faction there." he explained while roasting the Red Beaked Chiken.

"May I know where Sir Zenki is going?"

"I'm currently in a journey to the Northern Mountains"

"Oh, you're going to the Ice Cage City?"

"Mmmm" Zenki nodded. Ice Cage city is the city on Northern Mountains.

"Sir Zenki! My sister is currently there, will it be possible if you could somehow bring me with you?" she pleaded kneeling in front of Zenki.

"Just call me Zenki I'm not used someone calling me Sir. It wouldn't be problem bringing you along but it would be quite a long journey. It would take 3 weeks or so to get in that city, while it would take only 10 or so hours if you walk from here to Missed Oak City." he said making Mich seat to the log as he was not used someone pleading anything to him. He would really like to bring Mich along but the problem is she might have a little problem from the cold.

"Don't worry Zenki I would like to accompany you, I might be a burden but I'm really fun to be with and I will do anything to entertain you." She pleaded more.

"And also if you bring me with you, you could later give me your contact and I'll send 100,000 credits as a reward." hearing the 100,000 credits almost make him trip, he looked at the girls face. '100,000 f*cking CREDITS!?!?' he exploded inside his mind.
