Lin Huang walked to the stage with a grin, without saying anything, he walk to the boulder and removed the sword with both hands, before handing it to Lin Yue.

Suddenly, he turned around and frowned, and so do everybody as they saw countless men in armor with swords in their hands descending from the sky.

"What is going on?!"

No family dared to put up a fight against the Lin, as they were held in high esteem by the royal family, so the first guess that the armed men are from a family was crossed out.

But soon, everyone understands who they work for from the emblem on their chests.

"They are the Imperial Army, aren't they?" Someone asked fearfully.

"But what is going on? Why do look as if they want to battle?"

"I think so too, but why in the hell would a battle occur, our relationship with the Imperial family was too good for this."

But soon, they knew the reason as Eunuch Li entered with an edict.

"Everybody, kneel" He commanded, to which people were in much panic to do so.

They just look at him, and their gaze was screaming the word 'urgent' to him.

Sighing, he knew that whether they kneel or not, what was about to happen will happen.

"By the mandate of the heaven, his Majesty decrees that all the members of the Lin family are to be beheaded for committing treason against the empire."

Silence.

Everyone stood immobile, face paled from shock, they thought they had misheard!

Lin Huang reacted first as he flew off the stage and stood in front of Eunuch Li.

"What do you mean? Eunuch Li?" He questioned with cold eyes. Everything can be regarded as a joke but not treason!

Eunuch Li felt cold sweats trickling down his back. Lin Huang's expression is too frightening.

"I, Lin Huang swore with my cultivation that, none of us committed treason against our land. if my word is a lie, then I shall be struck..."

"Bring him here."

Eunuch Li quickly interrupted before Lin Huang could finish his statement that thunder should strike him.

A guard rushed outside and returned with a badly beaten man in black.

"Fu San?" Lin Weidong was shocked beyond words.

His hand behind his back, Eunuch Li said. "I can see that General Lin knew this man, nope, he is your subordinate. This man was found by our spy in Red Moon Empire, he went there to give them information and it was said that that is not the first time, and some of the battles that we lost in the past were due to the information that was sold to their country by this deceitful General!" Eunuch Li's face was red from anger as he pointed at Lin Weidong.

Fu San opened his mouth to talk but in the end, he couldn't make a sound, his tongue was cut off, so he could only shake his head that it was a lie, but who cares? What can a nod do? Nothing.

"This. is. nonsense. I, Lin Weidong have been brought up to be faithful to my country from birth, I had never in my life had a single thought of betraying the empire, I served it with all my strength, all my power, and all my life! How can you claim that I commit such an atrocious behavior?!"

Eunuch Li sneered, not commenting on what Lin Weidong has said but instead said.

Then he turns to Lin Weidong.

"Your selfish action has brought this to your family, all the bearers of the surname Lin shall be exterminated, a family of betrayers is definitely a betrayer too so none shall be spared. Kill!"

Those that aren't members of the Lin all rushed to the small path created, the Si, the Ma, and the Xia all take their disciples and quickly left.

After this, the soldiers charged at the people.

Lin Huang frowned, he was definitely not stupid to know what is going on!

However, if that bloodthirsty emperor thought that these mere grandmaster stage soldiers can hurt his family, then the emperor has greatly underestimated him.

He took out a golden spear and was about to start killing the soldiers when a loud snicker was suddenly heard.

The space twisted and a middle-aged man appeared, he was dressed nobly but his thin figure was something else as he stroke his beard, looking at Lin Huang mockingly.

...Seems like this emperor really meant it. Lin Huang closed his eyes and thought.

The man that appeared is called Liu De and both of them were mortal enemy. In fact, the most powerful person that can face Lin Huang in a one and one battle is only this Liu De guy.

Lin Huang couldn't help but wonder what kind of deal did the emperor strike with this guy for him to come out.

Opening his red eyes, he turned to the battlefield.

"We shall heed to the family head's word." Everyone answered, strangely, in chorus.

"Hahaha, old friend, you haven't changed a bit, well, let's not waste time, my loli are waiting for me!" The man said.

Lin Huang sneered. "Old man, I have to say, you got quite the big mouth. But don't worry, I wouldn't disappoint you."

Saying this, both of them flew into midair.
