End of the battle and signing a painful treaty

Authors note: Sorry for the very late upload but due to personal and school problems i was forced to upload today and i promise to upload two chapter this friday so enjoy.

Jin charged towards the Bretonnian king, throwing his dagger at the man. The blade found its mark between the armor plates. Jin followed up with an uppercut, then twirled around as his dagger was about to strike the king's neck. The king raised his sword and slashed in front of Jin's face, forcing Jin to pull back, suffering only a small cut on his cheek. When Jin touched the wound, he felt anger boiling inside him. He charged again, and when the king thrust his sword forward, Jin instantly sidestepped, grabbed the sword with his hand, and pulled it away, causing the king to stumble forward. Jin used his other hand to summon a long dagger, cutting the king's shoulders and stabbing him. The king grunted in pain and tried to headbutt Jin, but it was useless. Jin moved his head and looked at the Valyrian queen, who had not joined the fight, merely watching the altercation in deep thought. Jin appeared a few meters from her and spoke in a cold voice.

"Do you want to fight until you surrender or just surrender?" he said, taking a step and covering his blades with wind.

She sighed, stabbed her sword into the ground, and spoke, "I surrender. Please don't kill anymore of my men," she pleaded as she saw her army being slaughtered.

---

A few hours later, the three monarchs were brought to the negotiating table. Only a few soldiers survived from each army: the Valyrians originally had 250,000 soldiers and now had 50,000; the Night King's army had over 400,000 soldiers and now had over 100,000; the Bretonnians had over 40,000 soldiers and now had 5,000. The three monarchs were in a makeshift tent, open to show their men that they were negotiating. Jin looked at them with a serious face, and behind him was a group of special forces soldiers known as Firefly. As the tense silence continued, the Night King stood up and spoke.

"What are your terms, outlander?"

[Author's Note: The term "outlander" is used when a person from another continent or unknown lands comes to Esdos.]

"My terms are simple: you disband your armies and form an army that will defend your lands. This applies to the other monarchs as well. You will not attack each other or anyone else," Jin said.

"And why should I believe you, since your monarch is not here to agree to your terms?" said the King of Bretonnia. The Queen of Valyria continued to sit silently, which was noticed by the other monarchs.

"Because he gave me direct orders. Additionally, you cannot declare war on any nation unless you ask permission from the Draconian Empire, and economic treaties will be formed," Jin responded.

The Bretonnian king smacked his hands on the table. "I will not accept these terms!" he shouted, his eyes red with anger.

They then felt another presence appear. Alex stood there in full glory, wearing armor and a mask that covered his face. He unleashed a small aura.

---

**Alex's POV**

* A few minutes before the negotiation *

**Emperor's Office**

"Your majesty, Marshal Jin reported that he won the battle and is currently dealing with the aftermath. The negotiations will begin soon," said the Imperial guard at the door, standing like a giant.

"I see. I will go to my armory and prepare to teleport," Alex said as he departed from the office and arrived at his armory, where he placed his finished armor on a stand and arranged his weapons on the table.

*Shirk Zip*

He took the coat and began to wear it. When he turned to his boots, he headed to a place covered by multiple seals. Removing them revealed a mask that was chained. As his empire grew, Alex knew his power had also grown, but it still wasn't enough to defeat Chronos or stand on equal grounds. He felt his strength stagnate.

**2 minutes later**

After removing the mask from the safe, he placed it on his face, feeling some of his aura being absorbed. Once his energy was hidden, he snapped his fingers. A magic circle appeared around him. He stepped onto it and was immediately teleported to where Jin was.

*Present time*

"I will not accept these terms!" The Bretonnian king's voice rang out, filled with defiance. Alex decided to force compliance.

"Yes, you will. Sign the treaty," Alex commanded, slowly releasing some of his power, causing the monarchs to shiver and look at the imposing figure behind Jin.

"I am the Emperor of the Draconian Empire, Alex Luker Draco, and the God of Balance," he declared, his tone making the others take a step back.

Alex snapped his fingers, and a chair formed from the ground. He sat on it as two Imperial Guards appeared and seven more surrounded the negotiating tent.

"Just accept it," he said, staring them down. The Queen of Valyria was the first to speak.

"I accept these terms," she said, prompting an immediate response from Alex.

"Not so fast. You have different terms. First, you will allow Draconian military forces to station soldiers and establish bases. You will only maintain an armed force of 70,000 soldiers to keep your borders safe and maintain peace and order. Additionally, you will provide reparations and share your technology for creating Valyrian steel," he stated, causing her to grit her teeth.

"Why these reparations? These terms will fracture my kingdom. Is this just petty revenge?" she screamed, moving towards Alex. Jin's dagger stopped her in her tracks, his gaze hostile.

"Step back," he ordered. She complied, staring at Alex with fear and frustration.

"Tsk, tsk, little queen. It was thanks to us that you grew into a regional power. The Valyrian steel technology was an experiment given to your kingdom, and it was successful. But," he paused and walked towards the Valyrian queen, who stepped back again.

*Woosh*

He disappeared and reappeared behind her, holding a piece of metal between his fingers.

*Crink*

Her chestplate began to crack and shatter, making her pale.

"We gave you the resources, and you went rogue for your own interests. Jin was just a trader, but due to that argument—"

"You, the trader," Jin cut off Alex, finishing the sentence. An awkward silence descended before Alex coughed and continued.

"He's correct. You went to a costly war, and now you have to pay the price. That's the reason for this intervention by my empire—to put you in your place. Now, your navy must be limited to 200 active ships," he said, dropping the last term. She signed the treaty, putting it into full effect.

"Your Majesty, by your order, we can deal with the other nations on this continent," Jin said, but Alex raised his hand.

"No, the 14th Legion will be deployed in Esdos, and the 8th Legion will be deployed for a new operation in Pangea," he said. Jin nodded.

"Over the course of six months, the soldiers will rotate, and the 14th Legion will take over operations."

"What about the fleet?"

"The Coastguard's 2nd Patrol Fleet will be stationed here, but we need an island base in case reinforcements are needed," Alex said, calling one of the Imperial Guards to hand him a map. He looked at the map, noting the logistical problem of the distance from Pangea. He found a choke point and pointed it out.
