Ch 1: I become gang member

Zaun The Underground City.

In [Trivia The Last Drop] tavern many people are drinking. Many people are drinking and laughing with each other. And as just everyone laughing someone kicked open door of tavern.

Then everything become quiet because everyone knows who was coming in. It was Silco [The Godfather Of Zaun]. Everyone become quiet in fear.

*Gulp, gulp*

Only one young man was gulping a glass full of beer. It tastes horrible but who made them live in Zaun? Silco looked at young man who was still drinking with interest. Silco come next to young man and placed his hand on his shoulder and asked: "Young man, I'm impressed by your courage. Do you wanna do me a special favor?"

Young man looked at Silco for a moment then nodded his head. Without saying anything he continued drinking his beer.

"You see my daughter Jinx is going to do a mission tomorrow. I wanted to someone is needed to their eyes on her. Do you want to do it?"

Finally young man stop drinking and looked at Silco for a few seconds before answered with only one word: "Sure."

Silco smiled and said: "Good."

Silco used this technique on many people. This who can still drink like this after he come in are either idiots or capable men. Most of people hear word 'his daughter' first thing they thought was opportunity. Opportunity to become rich without effort this kind of people all killed in hands of Jinx. They are idiots he is talking about on other hand this who doesn't care about things like this and just doing mission he give they are capable men in his eyes.

After become Godfather of Zaun this kind of things become norm for him. It's also become one of few little fun he had in his busy life. After Silco goes to second floor tavern become its former atmosphere again.

No one cared about young man after all this kind of people who seeks death here aren't that rare. They all used too it. Some even bet on either he come back alive or not after mission.

But no one noticed small smile on corner of his mouth. It looks like he accomplished something proud of.

Effect: Return to 10 seconds before time. If host is in danger automatically activated.

Effect: Sense dangers that will happen to you. Passive ability.

[Item: Vampire Necklace

Effect: Necklace that is made by blood of first vampire. Every time you cause damage to opponent it will heal you. Get effect you doesn't need to wear it.]

And he knew he needed to do something quickly other wise he might really reach the point where he can't die.

James currently felt like he wanna punch someone. He really wanna punch someone really hard. But he held back himself. He took out gold coin from system storage and gives to bartender and said: "Keep the change."

After he left everyone at tavern looked at him with strange eyes. After all in Zaun someone using gold coin is really rare. But they didn't think much expect some greedy guys of course.

Dark Alley.

James reached to dark alley not far away from home it's road where he goes to home everyday.

"Hey Kid Stop Right There!" James heard someone calling him but he didn't care. His danger sense suddenly sensed danger.

[Ding! Host didn't act to danger. System judged squid act. System controlled host is body forcefully.]

Suddenly James tilted his head little and easily dodged from knife that is thrown by gangster. And then turn his head towards them slowly.

There was about seven guys one who throw knife just now seems to be leader. "Catch him!" was his only order he give. His little brothers attacked James with knife, bat and axe but they were easily beaten by James. It only took one punch to knock down one person.

Leader who saw this took out purple liquid it was [Shimmer] he drank it without hesitation and start mutating into monster. His height swelled and reached 3 meters and his both hands become bigger. His skin become blue grayish and visible purple veins appeared on his body.

"Agh!!!" With beast like roar he rushed towards James. Which James dodged easily and give a jab. Which stunned monster little bit. One after another James is punches start landing on monster.

Even though monster enhanced by [Shimmer] it still bleed heavily and supper miserably from continuous attacks from James who has superhuman physique.

From this we can see their power difference easily. James took few step back and looked at dying monster. Who was finally having a chance to breath but didn't last long because James give him finisher attack. Which is drop kick and very strong one. Strong enough to crush it's skull.

[Ding! Host survived from attack of gangster's rewarded by: +1000 gold coins, +6 Strength.]

[Ding! Because system helped host your reward halved. And become: +500 gold coins, +3 Strength.]

After hearing this James finally gained back control of his body. He let out a sigh and looked at corpse of monster and unconscious goons he left single gold coin for every single one of them even dead monster too.

"Then what they say? Right. Sayonara." After that he drifted into darkness of Zaun.
