"God... why did I get flustered? and what for?"
Rei started to walk slowly after seeing the school in a distance, he put his right arm to his waist while his left arm is on his chin seemingly thinking over it. He felt a little anxious as he disliked on getting his photo taken, at the extent of a stranger to say so.
"What if he posted it, People will see my face.. I look horribly weird.." He fidget his fingers.
"Ah... what if I was blocking his camera when I was right in the middle when he snapped a photo. Oh man ... " He continued to mumble nervously until he reach the front of the school.
The school looks like a typical modern Filipino Highschool, the difference with it is the schools land is quite vast. The green area is very lush and trees are Sturdy and tall.
In this school it's a tradition to plant at least one Palawan Spring tree In the schools mini park for all graduating seniors. Almost all school at least have a patch, either fruits, vegetable or flowers. Which are handled and tend by the tasked daily cleaners and those who are in the gardening club.
The school was originally composed of three different schools but was soon merged into one semi-private school, composed of east, west, and central. Seniors are often located in the farthest central building, while juniors are spread into the front and middle areas along with the club rooms, faculty, facilities, and etc.
Rei's classroom is near the far central since he's an 11th grader, situated on the second floor first room if taken by the left stairs to reach the upper floors.
Rather than getting fixated over it, he shake his head seemingly disregarding the thought.
Right in the moment, the school bell rang.
An announcement was soon to be followed for all upcoming seniors.
A female student was heard in the entire school from various speakers that was attached from the walls of the classrooms, facilities till the hallways.
"To all senior students, please remain in the social hall. Be advised as the school year is about the end. All seniors must practice the graduation ceremony." Said in a declarative manner and pause after a few seconds.
"A follow up announcement for 11th grade students, please prepare for your upcoming defence in thesis tomorrow, starting at 8:00 am. You will be given a spare time to prepare after the flag ceremony, be advised that going unprepared or stalling time is prohibited.
Signed by your respective advisers, thank you." The student announcer swiftly finishes its remarks and offed the microphone.
Sudden soft whining, mumbling, and, chattering was heard from the 11th graders.
Rei as well is no exception, since this is the first time they'll have a thesis defence unlike their 10th and 9th grade thesis which doesn't require one.
Immediately he run of with his two other team members and talked about it.
"Owshie, I thought they were joking about the defence two weeks ago.. ampt, Not only that one of the judge is our principal. She will definitely raise a lot of questions and will try to open every small holes she can find in our thesis. We're screwed." A petite darked brown hair girl with pigtails tied up in a tanned skin.
Rona is often a worrywart but is gentle in some ways of her personality. She might seem quite an arrogant tone whenever she speaks, though it doesn't demean that she's being mean to those who spoke to her.
"All you do is whine Rona, Besides we have revised and reviewed are thesis several times, what could go wrong."
Plus we have Rei here, this debate master will surely pin us up." Said by a yellowish skinned boy with a short spike charcoal hair. He's carefree personality is what Rona and Rei often worries about.
"Well that's the thing Dan, they will question us equally. Ofcourse if one gets overwhelmingly wrong, everyone is destined to fail with em'."
The three of them sighed as they walked towards their classroom. Rei often looks to the side of the hallways where the sun often shine brightly and the plants breezed sophisticatedly.
Rona immediately gritted her teeth as she saw students holding hands in the hallway.
"Tsk, there's no forever, y'all gonna break up soon" Rona smirked and mumbled softly as she spoke with her friends.
Dan laughed and patted Rona's back upon hearing it. "Shhhh bitter.. Just because all of your "boyfriends" you dated with "often last in two months."
Rona discreetly Smacked Dan's face after checking if there are people looking at their direction.
"Your making me sound like I'm a hoe, well your probably jealous since your NBSP ~"
Rona teases him after smacking his life out of him.
"Why do you have to hurt me twice.." Dan jokingly speak with saddened tone as he scratch the back of his head.
" You two are always rowdy." Rei patted both of their backs as they push them to continue walking.
The clattering sounds of students walking on the hallway, especially the senior highschool students completing their clearances to graduate or to pass their grades can be seen going back in fourth. Though there are some who are just resting or doing their own stuff are students who finished their school work efficiently.
A few minutes later, they reached their classroom and sat on their sits like most of the others in groups, practicing their defence.
After practicing for a few minutes, Rei imagined a glimpse of the person who seemingly looked at him while taking a photo.
He wondered how he didn't saw him this morning during the flag ceremony or announcement. For sure he was wearing the same school uniform of the school. Looking occupied, Dan goes behind him and started to tickle his sides.
"What was that for?" Rei laughed and vented a little. Dan explained how they were trying to speak with you but was seemingly occupied to let them even get noticed.
"Was I?" He questioned himself as he crossed his arms. Shrugging off he asked to do it in another time as homeroom will start any minute. Dan and Rona both look to each other and agreed, Rona firstly head off as Dan secretly whisper teasing him.
"Well who are you thinking off ~" as he giggled.. he soon followed and went back to his sit as Rei was left a little flustered and replying that it was nothing.
