Clouds Gather Around the Sect

Meng Hao gathered the pills and he activated him the Divine Ascending Scripture and he started by consuming the 3 Meridian Opening Pills. His body started burning due to his meridians starting to stretch and open wide. He activated the Divine Suppressing Technique and his body started to emit an aura that started to grow in size and depth.

As time went on his Meridians fully opened and Meng Hao felt his body start to break through, he put all his energy and finally all over his body, popping sounds indicated that it was successful, his physique broke through to the Copper Rib Rock Body stage. Meng Hao smiled and he could feel the immense power of the physique, right now he could probably beat a Stage 3 Qi Movement Cultivator without using any martial arts, martial spirits, or Lightning Core.

Meng Hao didn't notice that dark clouds started to surround his peak, and tiny ashes started to fall from the sky.

Meng Hao now focused primarily on the Divine Ascending Scripture as he literally inhaled the 50 Ascension Spirit Pills. The dark clouds outside got even darker and it spread across the sect causing many of the disciples and elders to wonder what was going on. Even the patriarch felt the strange aura and had no idea what it was.

Meng Hao's martial spirits rank immediately started, from Human Stage 6, the golden aura from all 3 Martial Spirits caused the entire peak to start shaking. Meng Hao felt all the Qi and Spirit Energy from the Spirit Vien start getting sucked into his body like water into a cyclone. Meng Hao felt his cultivation start to rise as well, but instead of breaking through into the Qi Movement Realm his cultivation actually breached the limits of the Qi Sensing Stage into the Qi Sensing Stage 12, three levels above what was thought to be possible for cultivation. During his breakthough in cultivation, he could feel his Dantain fill up to its brink and he could feel that he was on the brink of reaching the Qi Movement Stage.

When his cultivation and martial spirit started rising the ashes started to fall even harder and now even Meng Hao noticed the small holes that were appearing on his roof. When he looked up he saw tiny ash that was still burning start to leak into his house and he muttered: "Defiant Tribulation..."

Meng Hao didn't waste any time activating his Lightning Core, took out a knife for his Asura Slashing Knife Arts, and he activated his Royal Divine Pheniox Bloodline. He couldn't use his martial spirits because they were still upgrading from Human Stage 9 to Earth Stage 1.

There were two types of tribulation Ascension Tribulation and Defiant Tribulation. The Ascension Tribulation was the normal lightning tribulation from heaven that one has to go through during their transformation from the Spirit Stages to the Celestial stages and the Celestial Stages to the God Stages. The Defiant Tribulation is a special type of tribulation that occurs when one breaks the law of cultivation, like when Meng Hao went 3 Stages above what the normal Qi Sensing Cultivator could. Instead of lightning that the Ascension Tribulation has, the Defiant Tribulation uses a crimson fire that is meant to burn all those who oppose the heavens.

Meng Hao's roof completely collapsed and he could see the intense flames that were building up in the sky ready to burn Meng Hao. The sect was in utter chaos seeing this mysterious flame that seemed like it could burn all of the earth with a single wisp. Many cultivators thought that the Verdant Alchemy Sect might have offended a cultivator from another realm.

But only the Patriarch knew what the flame was and was shocked when he saw who it was being directed at, "I can't believe this kid, he invoked the Defiant Tribulation on his first stage of cultivation? What kind of monster is he..."

Meng Hao's face distorted and he shouted: "Even the heavens dare try to stop my path of cultivation, you can dream on! My flame is much more powerful than yours!"

Shao Lie dropped the 2 pills on the ground when she saw the intense crimson flames in the sky and the bright red flame on the peak. She knew that she lost her chance of stealing his talent and was too terrified to even think about what was going on. Like most people in the sect, she ran away.

The Flames of Heaven seemed to hear Meng Hao's challenge and its flames grew more and more intense. Meng Hao smirked, "I will get the first attack, TAKE MY KNIFE!!!"

His flames and lightning combined with the power of the Asura Slashing Arts and the entire sect were blinded with the colors of red, blue, and white slashing into the black clouds above.

The flames of heaven descended towards Meng Hao, the Slash intercepted the flames of heaven and an intense game of wrestling between the flames of heaven and a 12-Year-Old boy with a knife began.
