Breakfast

Lance and Sage walked into the kitchen ten minutes later.

"Sage, Lance, please let us a-" began Molly.

"No." said Sage cutting her off. "I don't want to hear whatever shit you have to say. There is no excuse for what you did, so save your breath." She sat down at the kitchen bar. "I want a bowl of fruit and complete silence or I will leave right now and never come back."

The chef brought her fruit and everyone ate in silence.

After breakfast, Sage got up from the bar and turned to leave, but before she did, she took off her tracker and slammed it down on the counter.

Lance got up to follow her.

"No, I want to be alone." she said without turning to look at him.

Once she left Molly spoke.

"Lance, we really are terribly sorry for not saying anything. We know what we did may seem wrong but we were trying to protect you both."

"I understand." said Lance. "But I will tell you this, Zmayah will never trust you again after this. She does not take this sort of thing lightly as you may have seen. She has had her trust in people broken time and time again. This is the last thing that she should have had to go through after everything else that has happened to her." He said standing up and walking away.

Sage wonder the house till she came to the green house from the night before. She walked around, looking at all the different plants. Then she stared out the windows at the beautiful scenery. There was a glass door leading out to the grounds. Sage was just about to open it, when she felt a tug. It was Mateo. She explained to him, she would be right back. Then opened the door.

There was a lake at the bottom of a hill behind the estate, Sage walked around till she came to a weeping willow. She walked over to the trunk of the tree and sat down underneath it. Her mind was racing with everything she had heard that morning, she began to cry. The sky seemed to feel her pain and it began to rain.

Ty felt horrible, he wanted to find Sage and explain but he also wanted to give her space. He walked back to his room and laid down on his bed. All this, right after he told Sage how he felt about her. There was a small knock on his door.

"Ty, it's William. Can I come in?"

"Yeah sure."

William burst through the door and jumped on Ty. Ty laughed.

"Ow, that hurts you know."

"Want to play?" William asked in a pleading voice.

"Nah, not right now Will, I'm feeling a little sad."

"Why?"

"Because I think I made Sage sad." Ty explained picking William up off him and throwing him up in the air.

William laughed as Ty caught him.

"Well, if Sage is sad. Why don't you make her feel better." William said. " When I'm sad mommy always makes me feel better."

"I don't think that will work this time. I think she is mad at me."

"Oh, then say you're sorry. Then come and play with me!"

"Okay, champ, I'll try." Ty said smiling. "I'm going to find Sage now. I'll come back and play with you when I get back."

Ty walked through the house checking every room he came to but could not find Sage. So he knocked on Lance's door. Lance opened it.

"Oh, it's you. I thought it might be Sage."

"So you don't know where she is either?" Ty asked.

"No, she hasn't been answering her phone. I tried her room after breakfast, but she wasn't there either."

"I checked all the rooms on my way here, maybe she is in a different part of the house. Should we look for her?"

"No, if she wants to be alone then we should let her."

"Okay, well, do you want to shoot some guns?"

After gun training was lunch, still no Sage. Then combat training and dinner, still no Sage.

"Okay, now I am worried." Sean said at dinner. "Normally when Sage goes off alone, she will keep in touch with me so I know she is okay. But this time she hasn't texted or called me once."

"We haven't seen her in any part of the house." Lenard said.

Mateo began to speak in rapid spanish.

"Mateo, slow down, we can't understand you when you talk that fast!" Lyla said. "Now what is it?"

Mateo repeated what he had just said more slowly.

Lyla began to speak back to him. After a couple minutes she spoke.

"Mateo says he saw Sage in the room with plants, she told him she would be right back to play with him; but she never came back. He said he saw her go outside but she didn't come back in."

"When was this?" Ty asked.

"He said it was this morning."

"What is the room with plants?" Lance asked.

"The green house." Said Ty. "There is a door that leads outside." He got up from the table quickly. "That was hours ago, she could be in trouble." he said running out of the room.

Lance ran after him and they dashed through the house to the green house. Ty opened the back door, it was still raining out and getting dark.

"Sage!" he called out.

"Zmayah!" called Lance as they ran down the hill towards the lake.

"You go that way, I'll go this way." said Ty pointing to the other side of the lake.

"Sage!" Ty called out. "Sage!"

Then he saw her. She was laying under a weeping willow tree.

"Sage." he said gently shaking her. "Come on, please wake up."

She was limp and cold. Ty checked for a heart beat. Once he found one, he delicately picked her up in his arms and ran.

"Lance." said Lyla running up to him. "Any sign of her?"

"No, nothing yet. She likes woods though so she could have gone-"

"Lance!" said Ty running towards them. "I found her. She's passed out and cold. We need to get her inside."
