Megan made her way downstairs feeling a bit off. She made it to the table and flopped into a chair startling the group with her uncommonly graceless action.

Gabriel looked at Megan alarmed. "Are you sick, my love?"

"How could she be? Our kind don't get sick Gabriel." Afton interjected.

Sam placed a hand against Megan's forehead. "She feels cool, but she is covered in sweat."

"Megan, sweetheart, are you hungry, thirsty? What do you need?" Chloe asked.

"I am hungry. Do we have more tea?" Megan asked.

Chloe nodded heading into the kitchen. "I saved dinner for you, but I can get you something else if you don't feel up to eating this."

Dinner was barbecue chicken, potato salad, and grilled vegetables. Megan's mom brought her some nice orange tea which was nice. She felt chilled to her bones and the tea help a lot. There was also lemon meringue pie for dessert. She smiled knowing that her mother was in impress Afton mode.
