Chapter 6

3rd Person Overview

After several weeks and before reaching the Kebab World, Kiran looks out the window of his room and sees an incredibly beautiful scene. Focusing more and more, the nebula in his eyes begins to move at a crazy speed, allowing his eyes to reach a planet that is two weeks away in an instant, observing a pair in the act. The woman senses the watching eyes and stops her partner.

"Who?!" the woman exclaims, extending her hand for a sword to fly into it, causing Kiran to stop spying on them.

Kiran turns his head to the side, "What was that???" He quickly stands up and rushes to find Musa.

Kiran calls out while running between marble pillars adorned with drawings of phoenixes and dragons, "Master, Master, Master!" He reaches Musa's meditation room and knocks on the door intensely, calling out again, "Master, Master!"

The door opens on its own.

Kiran exclaims, "Master, I saw something extremely strange!" Musa opens his eyes and asks, "What?"

Kiran explains, "I saw a naked man and woman where the man put the part we use for peeing insi..." Musa quickly puts his hand over Kiran's mouth, a slight blush on his cheeks. "I understand, I understand," Musa says.

Musa then asks, "Ahem, ahem, where did you see this, Kiran?"

Kiran replies, "On a distant planet that looks like a sesame seed."

Musa, surprised, asks, "How did you see this?"

Kiran responds, "I don't know. I was looking out the window, then I focused hard, and my vision expanded greatly until I saw that planet. When I focused more, I saw that woman and the older man like that."

Innocently, Kiran asks, "What were they doing?"

Musa replies, "Ahem, I'll tell you when you're older." He then lifts Kiran and looks into his eyes, which contain no white, filled entirely with nebula colors and stars.

Musa thinks for a moment and then takes Kiran, pointing his hand north.

Musa instructs, "Focus where my finger is pointing and tell me what you see."

Kiran does as instructed, and the stars in his eyes begin spinning rapidly again.

Musa Overview

Musa thinks to himself, "The stars in his eyes are moving extremely fast, and the QI is acting strangely as well." Musa smiles, "This is very interesting. It seems the rest of my life won't be boring at all. I don't want to die before I see where you will end up, my little one."

Musa then asks, "Tell me, what do you see?"

Kiran responds, "I see a pair of three-tailed manticores."

Musa says, "That's really amazing," then points his hand in the direction of eight o'clock. "Tell me, what do you see?"

Kiran focuses his eyes intensely.

In an astonished voice, Kiran says, "I see an enormous palace intertwined with a tree reaching the sky, filled with nests for fire phoenixes. I also see many men and women, and lots of phoenixes flying everywhere. Why are there so many people? They're far more than in our village," he says, gesturing to indicate the large number.

Musa laughs, "This is the Spring Capital, the main city of the guild, where our guild controls 30% of the Kebab World."

Kiran says, "That must be a lot," then mutters, "Kebab World," starting to drool as his stomach growls.

Musa, laughing, says, "Let's go eat."

Kiran eagerly raises his hand, "Manticore kebab, please!"

3rd POV

While eating dinner, Kiran stuffs his mouth with lots of kebab.

Kiran suddenly remembers, "I remembered something."

Musa asks, "What?"

Kiran says, "Do you remember the place I was in when I awakened the QI?"

Musa replies, "Yes."

Kiran continues, "There's something strange in the space inside me, like a very small ball forming inside."

Musa starts laughing heartily.
