Chamber of Commerce

As Sam walked closer to the castle gates he saw lined guards dressed in flashing silver armor checking each merchant passing through the gate. Occasionally a trail of caravans would flash an insignia to the guards on duty and pass through freely.

But what slightly surprised Sam was that there were a variety of strangely dressed warriors riding different beasts through the gate. However what made him give a sigh of relief was that he would no longer stand out.

Before entering the city Sam ordered all of his subordinates that followed to cover themselves using outfits and masks worn from being summoned.

The masks turned completely Black and covered everything except their mouths and eyes. Even if a world powerhouse was standing in front of them they wouldn't be able to see what they looked like.

Luckily Sam had thought ahead and made a makeshift robe out of a Rank 2 monster's skin to temporarily cover himself. The clone received its own outfit when it was summoned, making it wear a golden robe and a bright golden mask different from the traditional summons.

Sam doesn't plan on taking much action himself so he was fully prepared to stay sat in an inn watching his clone fight.

When they reached the gate the guard motioned for them to stop.

'' Ten copper per person''

Sam paid without speaking and quickly passed the gate. Their outfits received little attention, warriors often wore cloaks and masks so their enemies could not track their actions.

When Sam entered the city he saw bustling streets with various food stalls lining the side of the street. But what surprised Sam was that there were a variety of warriors lining up on mats selling random weapons or body parts of beasts.

Generally warriors would sell beast parts to large businesses spread throughout the continent but if they were too badly damaged the warriors had to find a different way to sell them.

As for the weapons, large businesses generally sold their own forged weapons and wouldn't buy scrapped weapons found by scattered warriors.

Sam glanced at the weapons but none caught his attention but he did notice a variety of tailors spread out among the shops across the sides of the street. He handed some money to his clone and ordered it to purchase some clothes that fit his 8 year old body.

After bypassing the bustling entrance Sam quickly sent out his steward to go find an inn to stay in. With its Rank 10 strength it's easy to spread out and find it.

Meanwhile Sam went and sat in a small restaurant listening to the chatter around him.

''Have you heard? The city lords son took some soldiers and left the city.''

''It seems that the sects are sending more disciples to the city recently preparing for the auction''

'' They are selling a rare Rank 10 beast egg, obviously a large amount of people want to win it, even the city lord would be interested''

After listening Sam learnt a lot of important information but the biggest things were about the upcoming auction and that no one knows about Nick's death yet.

Sam wasn't worried about the city lord's ancestor whose Rank 15 as he can always hide, but it will be inconvenient in the future if he has to watch his movements to avoid getting hunted.

At this time the Steward has returned with information about the best inn they can afford and had booked a room.

After transmitting the location of the inn to the clone who was buying clothes Sam walked with his group and walked into the room of the inn. They only booked one room to save money and so Sam's bodyguard and steward could protect him while he sleeps.

At the same time the Clone walked into the room with a small black regal robe that Sam quickly put on.

''Attendants come here'' Sam called over the Attendants who'd been storing the dead bodies of the beasts. After a couple of days hunting by the bodyguard and steward Sam had received a substantial amount of corpses that had been collected into the attendants storage spaces.

Sam decided to order the clone to take the attendants to sell all of the corpses and stay safe inside of the Inn.

After swapping his viewpoint onto the clone Sam was happy to finally see his viewpoint rise above the height of his subordinates' waists. But he didn't take control of the actions of the clone as it was necessary to provide it with experience doing these sorts of actions.

The clone walked out of the Inn and walked to the Black Castle Chamber of Commerce. Sam learnt about this when he was in the restaurant, and it had spread across the entire of the Spirit continent. It ranked as one of the highest forces so no one would dare cause trouble to it.

The store was massive, keeping with the name it was fully built out a strange black material that looked majestic but low-key at the same time.

When entering a wave of medicinal smells were immediately noticed along with the sharp auras of various spiritual weapons hanging on the walls.

Together with the Attendants, Sam's clone walked up to the shop counter with the mask still covering its face.

''How can i help you?'' A cute girl behind the counter asked politely.

''Selling corpses'' The clone replied coldly.

The girl didn't seem to mind his attitude, a lot of warriors have faced constant life and death struggles causing them to form a variety of different attitudes.

''Please go into that room and place the corpses down, you will receive the estimated value''

The girl directed them to a room to the left of the counter. On the spirit continent theft and murder are common place so shops will have separate compartments to sell items and receive the money, to prevent anyone from targeting potential customers.

After walking into the compartment Sams clone ordered the attendants to drop the items onto the floor. What Sam was thrilled to find out was that he is able to allow clones certain access to permissions in the system. For example they can summon subordinates while they are travelling.

After all the corpses had formed a small mountain on the floor in the compartment a number popped up on the spiritual screen in front of them.
