Chapter Six: Lightning thief's Quest

Every morning I got a greek tutorial in Veronica she's getting distracted when I asking or saying something. She scowling me. As Penelope kept her distance with her venomous looks, she maybe upset or can't accept the fact she lost. I being vcose at Calixtro, Maximus, and Jace. At first it's hard to accept the fact being demigod because it just your dream but now being son of godsea.

After a long day I fell asleep in my cabin knackered, I woke up Trevor knocking my door while I'm snoring and sprawling.

"What a nuisance!" I mumbled.

I open the door and asked why he disturbing me. He inviting me into a feast that Dionysus prepared.

Chase Soothed his hair and his face like irritated. "Okay, okay... I will come just give me minutes to wake my soul." I yawnly said.

I wash my face and wear my orange T-shirt and Jeans, I stretch my arms and leave the cabin.

"Hey, nice to meet you again... Let's go together at the feast." Maximus importunate said. I just tag along and chitchat with him while walking we encounter Penelope and Lilith, and they smile and said "Hi Chase see you at feast.." I'm shocked. Those two become kind and nice to me it just WOW!

"Son of Poseidon, Here take it." Jace said and gave me a necklace, Jace introduce himself when I accept the necklace he's a son of Aeolus, and he can manipulate air.

It's getting dark, and the feast is so filled of joy and I think Everynight and every Arena of Valor day there's feast. Trevor put his right hand in my shoulder and said that we must celebrate. There's a table and Veronica is sitting, and just drinking wine she's smirked at us and greeted us "Hey, UMM... we haven't good introduction I'm Veronica West daughter of Athena." She introduced and offered us drinks and foods.

Aphrodite daughters came to Chase Redfield and invited him to go in their cabin for late night party. Chase nodded and he sip a wine after it.

"Are you going on them later?" she blurted said. "I don't know.. It's.. Maybe Trev will!" said undecided. Veronica raise her left hand with a cup of wine, she wanted a toss, so we did it three of us tossed and drank the wine.

Penelope sit with me and said "Son of Poseidon, Congratulations you're one of us and sorry for being rude in Arena. Again I'm Penelope Son of Ares, The god of war." I smile and we shake hands.

The feast if Dionysus is filled of joy, and suddenly Mister Ramon want to talk to me privately. I bid goodbye to Trev, and Veronica, and Penelope.

While walking toward the council cabin my feet shivering, and I mumbled something.

"We're here don't be nervous boy." Mister Ramon said.

Dionysus greeted me and let me sit in comfortable chair, all professors are there Mister Ramon, Professor Firenze, Professor Velcro, Professor Alester, Achelous, Aether and Madam Penthesilea.

I was dazzling and attracted with the beauty of Madam Penthesilea, She died long ago but she was revive as immortal like Dionysus. She is daughter of Ares and Otrera.

The storm is coming, and the gods debating about the incoming war. They glanced and Penthesilea pointed her finger on me. And sternly and poured all of her anger in me. I don't know what's going on but when Dionysus and Mr. Firenze explain that Hades have a message that Son of Poseidon Chase is the lightning thief, I laughed and said. "AWHAAT??" they gaze seriously and Mr. Firenze sternly said "You do not take it seriously." I'm so embarrassed, Dionysus told me that they gonna give me a quest to find the real lightning thief as I will prove to the gods I'm innocent.

Professor Penthesilea frantically asked and said venomous "Are you going to accept the quest? Son of Poseidon? Find the thunderbolt and the lightning thief if you want to clear your name to the gods. Prove them that you are innocent" I gulped and just nodded. She smirked and sip a nectar and said "This kid's funny... Now find it and prove your innocence." Mr. Firenze stroke his bristles beard and said "Don't hide anymore Satyr, Come and you're also have role in this.."

"Okay, okay," Trev raise his hands and shivering. "Satyr you are the guardian of his isn't? Why not join him into his quest." Dionysus said. Trev nodded and jeeringly said "I'm in. I'm his friend slash guardian. So I will."

"Satyr! This isn't game.. it's the storm and when the gods debating and decided to have war world's end." Mr. Velcro sternly said.

Your father and Zeus having their worst quarrel in centuries. Now they fighting because there's something stolen, Zeus Master bolt, A symbolize of his power.

Mr. Firenze told us that the lightning might be a god or monster and hiding in mortal world. Veronica just passed by and overheard about "Lightning thief" She stand and listen.

Cyclops are the helpers of Hephaestus whom forged the Poseidon trident, and Zeus thunderbolt. The profesors told that Zeus must have a reason to making me the thief, it might be because Poseidon is trying to overthrow him by using Zeus lightning bolt.

The forges of the Cyclopes are under the ocean, which gives Poseidon some influence over the makers of his brother's lightning. Zeus believes Poseidon has taken the master bolt, and is now secretly hav-ing the Cyclopes

build an arsenal of illegal copies, which might be used to topple Zeus from his throne.

As you are the son of Poseidon, and Zeus's accusing you to be the thief. "Why I am the thief? I'm innocent!" I replied.

"Then prove it! Take the quest and prove to the gods your innocent!" Professor Penthesilea sternly said.

"I will!" I sternly and vigorously said to the councils as they applause. "Prepared your thing son of Poseidon to your quest." Mr. Firenze said.

We Leave the cabin, and in the tree Veronica pull us and asked "Are you going to a quest?" Trev looked at me and I stammered said "Y.. yess."

"So I will join with you.. You needed a skilled warrior by the way." She said. I really don't want Veronica to join us but she's right I'm not skilled enough to the battles, but she is.

Trev suggested us to go in Calixtro because he knew that Calixtro have some items can help in the journey. "That's good idea Trevy.." she snickered smiled. "Is that a compliment?" Trev asked. Veronica winked.

Minutes later Veronica packed up, and she got an invisible cup, and her dagger named Halycon.

We knocked and Calixtro shouted "COME IN!" He is... Easy go lucky man, he playing PlayStation 4, and there's plenty of godly weapons and armors. "What do you want guys? Going out" He said snickered. He guessed, "You're here for some items for your quest. My friends you came in the right place" He said and he go in his inventory.. "Here take it" Calixtro gave us winged sneakers. He advice that winged sneakers are hard to control without air and if you're not skilled enough.

The councils are watching and waiting fir us to leave at Calixtro, when we're outside Professor Firenze, Ramon and Professor Velcro told us to go in their cabin.

We're mumbling while walking and when we're at their cabin. Dionysus gave us nectar and Professor Firenze gave us Food of gods if we need healing and there's ambrosia. With some so money.

Professor Firenze gave me the pen sword gift of Poseidon, it have a name and it's Riptide. It's only harmful and can only kill monsters, they're not harmful to mortals. Mortals will not be able to see it because of something called the mist.

All packed, Argus, the one hundred-eyed security guard, drives them to catch their bus.
