Secret Tunnel

(Valkyrs POV)

As Isaac did research on the school and the surroundings Val decided to look around the house acting like he was just lost and exploring. The house of Ra was similar in design and layout to the house of Thoth but with more sun related motifs. Val went around looking at the different rooms while greeting anyone he passed. He asked a few questions about the school and the houses but he didn't get many answers since a lot of the kids didn't really care about the history of the school. Walking into the game room he didn't see anyone else around. Double checking to make sure the coast was clear he decided to try a little bit of magic. Placing his hands on the ground he gathered his origin energy into his hands. After a minute of gathering the energy he decided it was enough so he closed his eyes and spoke [Search]. As he spoke the word the origin energy he gathered was released sweeping through the room and sending the information into his mind. 

As someone with the blood of a dragon his way of casting magic is different from others. He can use dragon speech which causes the energy he has gathered to move through his words. If he said fire then the energy would turn into fire. The only problem is that Valkyr couldn't control it very well since his cultivation just barely started. 

As the spell finished he was sorting through the information he received when someone walked into the room. He didn't realize it since he was too focused on the information influx.

Hey are you okay man? The stranger walked up to Valkyr and placed his hand on his shoulder trying to get his attention.

Opening his eyes he finally noticed the person. "Sorry did you say something?"

I asked if you were okay. I walked into the room and you were on the ground.

"Oh I am fine I just got a little dizzy. Sorry for worrying you."

It's fine dude just glad I don't have to go get a nurse. Here let me help you up. Grabbing Valkyr's hand he helped him up off of the ground before introducing himself. I am Edgar. Nice to meet you!

"Thank you, I am Valkyr. Nice to meet you too"

Oh hey you are my new roommate Edgar said with a smile. What a way for us to first meet. 

"Oh wow what a coincidence. Almost like you were drawn to meet me." Val looked over Edgar taking in all of his features and remembering him. Edgar stood at around 5ft 11in tall with tanned skin and a friendly air around him. He has short straight hair with a bit of stubble on his face. He has a set of gray eyes and tapered eyebrows with a slim face. He has a pair of strong looking hands with wide shoulders looking like he works out a lot. He has his right eyebrow pierced along with his ears. Val also noticed a small tattoo on his wrist in the shape of a breaking Ankh with a ring around it but a quarter of the ring was missing.

"Hey what an interesting tattoo you have. Is there a story behind it?"

Suddenly Edgar got nervous and covered his wrist with his sleeve. Oh there is no story behind it. I just thought it would be cool and got it on a whim. With a nervous chuckle he quickly changed the topic trying to draw Val's attention away from it. Hey, have you been shown around the house yet?

Val noticed how uncomfortable Edgar was and went along with his topic change. "I looked around myself a bit but I haven't really been shown around or anything."

Great! Then I will show you around! As your roommate it is my duty to help you find your way, also I'm pretty bored. With a smile he began dragging Val around and showing him the different rooms in the house from the kitchen to the dining room. He showed him the rooms of all of the different people in the house and where most people hang out after classes. After heading back to their room together they talked about whatever came to mind to pass the time. 

Hey do you wanna see a really cool secret Edgar whispered leaning in close like it was a conspiracy. 

"Sure what do you wanna show me? I'm down to see anything."

Alright but you can't tell anyone else about it okay? Only a few people know about it and it should be kept that way. As Edgar led Val to the secret location he gave some background. So me and a few other students found this a while ago after finding an old book in the library about the history of the school. Apparently the school is just a front. The real reason it was built was to hide a magic artifact that when held can make you a god. Now we don't really believe it but it is cool to look for! While we were searching for anything we found this. As he said this they stopped at a seemingly normal wall in the main floor hallway but Edgar pressed a small tile on the wall causing a small click noise to be let out. Edgar opened the wall like a door before pulling out a flashlight and leading Val into the tunnel. As the wall was shut behind Val he had no idea where he was being led to.
