First Library Guest

The man walked into the library acting like he owned the place. As he made his way to the service counter where Isaac, Val and William were talking he stopped.

Welcome to the library Isaac began before the man interrupted him.

This place would look great as my personal library. You, I want this place the man said to Isaac. 

Unfortunately this place isn't for sale Isaac said. This is a public facility.

I don't want to buy it, I am claiming it as mine the man said with a glare. 

Sorry but you can't do that Isaac said. Like I said before this is a public facility. 

Don't talk back to me filthy peasant! The man yelled as he swung his hand out to slap Isaac across the face. 

Before anyone could realize it William appeared next to the man and grabbed his wrist before it could hit Isaac.

Unhand me worm! How dare you touch my noble self! The man yelled at William spitting while he yelled.

With his free hand William wiped his face off with a handkerchief before talking.

Sir if you do not calm down I will be forced to restrain you William said with a dead pan expression like he was already tired of the man.

I would like to see you try the man yelled before raising his free hand.

[I call to thee of source of all heat. Let your strength become mine so I may reduce all of my enemies to cinders.] <Flame Blast>

As he finished his muttering a jet of fire shot out of his hand and headed towards William.

William quickly ducked down letting go of the man's hand in the process to avoid the fire. The jet of flames he conjured headed straight for a bookshelf as Isaac and Val watched with worried looks about Williams safety and also if the books would be burned. 

Suddenly a light blue barrier appeared in front of the shelf stopping the flames. William walked over next to Isaac and Val and spoke. 

Don't worry he said. The library has acted and will soon take care of him. Just brace yourselves because the first time can be a bit uncomfortable. Also try not to fight it.

Right as William finished the library began to shake. As the man kept yelling something about noble blood and teaching ignorant peasants a lesson all 3 of them felt as if their bodies were being taken over as they became just passengers in their own bodies. They were able to see, hear and feel but they couldn't do anything else.

The man began chanting a spell again but quickly stopped as he realized he couldn't access his mana pool. Trying multiple times and failing he began shouting some more but was quickly stopped by the 3 as they spoke in unison. Their voices held an ancient presence to it causing the man to stop and tremble. Realizing his mistake he listened to them.

You have committed an unforgivable sin and shall now be punished the 3 said.

Suddenly chains shot out of the ground binding the man's hands behind his back. Then more bound his legs together. Finally a chain bound around his neck before dragging him down and forcing him into a bowing position on the ground.

You can't do this the man shouted. I am a King!

Your status means nothing here the 3 spoke. For the crime of attacking a member of the library you shall lose your magic. 

Isaac grabbed a black orb that appeared on the desk and walked up to the man. Placing it near his heart the man began screaming in pain as he felt all of his mana being sucked out of him as he grew weaker and weaker. The orb absorbed all of it as it began to become more blue. When it was fully blue the man stopped screaming before slumping to the ground while Isaac walked back to the desk. 

For the crime of trying to damage the library you shall be permanently banned. The 3 spoke while glaring at the man in disgust.

William walked towards one of the bookshelves before pulling out a book called The Life of Lucas Von Krisma.

Walking back to the desk he handed it to Val. Val opened the book before picking up a stamp off of the desk before stamping the inside cover of the book with the word Banned in bold red letters. 

The man began screaming in pain again as a book chained up with the word banned under it was burned onto his chest. Right after the chains acted dragging the man out of the library before leaving his key right on the ground in front of the door. 

The presence possessing the 3 seemed to disappear right after the man was finished being dragged out as Isaac and Val fell to their knees panting in exhaustion. 

What was that Isaac and Val asked. 

That was the will of the library and what happens when someone makes it mad William said. The orb is a way to punish people by taking every ounce of energy out of a person's body and resetting their state back to rank 1. The book was a book about the past, present, and future of the man. One is generated when someone enters the library for the first time. By putting banned on the book it brands the person with an unremovable seal that prevents them from ever accessing the library again. 

As he finished he picked up the book before putting it on the shelf and then going to collect the key that was left.

Alright then time for you two to get some rest William said. He picked both of them up before walking to the back of the library. Finding a personal room he put them in bed before leaving. 

Sleep well you two, I will make sure nothing disturbs you William said. Also I will prepare something for you to eat when you wake up. Then we can also maybe teach you about energy gathering.
