Deep underground where there was no light and only darkness within the tunnels that were being dug by Yvie, she continued to dig deeper and deeper.

Two tiny humanoid figures were sitting in her pocket, the female which was Ting who had commented. "We are getting closer!"

Ton then followed up. "You are right sister! There is no mistaking it. We are very close!"

Their innate abilities with plants was was much higher than humans and other creatures so helping to detect the source was no problem for them.

Yvie showed a light smile then dug deeper in the same direction. "I could have guessed this much! Hmph!"

Once she had gotten deeper there was something large which had blocked their path and even her own claws could not penetrate it.

Only small scratches were left on the outer parts and there still seemed to be many layers.

As if acting in defence, the roots underneath the soil had mostly turned their attention to her as they had headed in her direction.

The gaze of Yvie became serious as she stated. "This will take too long. We need a change of strategy. You two need to make use of your powers."

Ting had complained suddenly as she pouted while jumping out of the pocket. "You do know that it can only be used on non living things yes?"

Yvie grinned in response. "You can figure it out correct?"

Ton raised his hand and asked. "What should I do?"

Yvie thought for a moment and then replied. "Help me remove the biggest problem here."

Ton looked annoyed but had jumped out of the pocket.

Just as Yvie was digging around the core or bulb that was the main source of the roots and the bungee grass, many stalks of grass and roots were on the upper and lower part of it.

Yvie showed a smile as her claws shone a little in the darkness. "This should help those up top."

By going around each part of the core there were many things that were cut off, those that had disconnected had lost their connection to the claw which had supplied them life and helped to provide nutrients to the core.

Yvie chose to primarily focus on the places that seemed to be connected to the bungee grass and severed the connection.

One by one the bungee grass above the ground had lost their liveliness and vitality.

They had no longer stood up straight and had began to droop downwards.

Ton had suddenly gained a very muscular build due to the Protein/Muscle Devil Fruit. "I still feel weird each time I use this.."

A tiny Tontatta tribe member had suddenly become super buff which was an amusing sight for most people due to them still looking not very threatening.

Their size which could allow them to fit in the palm of a human hand made them look very cute and non threatening but their speed could not be underestimated, most normal people would not even see when a Tontatta had ran by them or had stolen something from them.

Even some Observation Haki users could let down their guards and have their belongings taken from them as many had suffered the same within Dressrosa

When that was given a boost by boosting their combat powers, it not only significantly increased their speed further but allowed them to hit their enemies with far more power than they had before.

Even in the most basic bulky form that wasted less energy and was slower than the final form, Ton was difficult to keep track of as he leapt from root to root that had been encountered.

All that was seen was a faint afterimage after the roots had been smashed one after another.

Once that connection had been cut off, there were a lot of roots underground which had been pursuing them that had come to a complete halt.

The core was gradually losing its functional pieces and although it still was full of a strong life force, it could not just suddenly regrow what had been lost in time to protect itself from the threat.

Ting shouted after she had stopped moving and everything around the core had been disconnected. "Now hopefully this will work! Now you two… get back to the surface and warn them."

Ting sat on top of the core and then activated her Float Devil Fruit abilities.

Everything that she had made contact with that was without life had gathered around the core then had formed underneath it. "Hurry, go!"

Yvie ran over to Ton who had turned back into his normal state, she placed him back into her pocket then went back through the tunnels that had been built while cutting anything that had blocked the way. "Time to go."

It was strange that the tunnels did not collapse so easily as if they were being help up by something.

By the time that Yvie had reached the surface once again, everyone had been safe and had been waiting for her arrival. "We need to move! Hurry!"

Everyone nodded and ran from their current locations to get to somewhere safer.

Beneath the ground, Ting showed a slight smile and then said. "That should be enough time!"

Her powers activated once again as the earth surrounded the core and mostly the lower half, the earth supported the weight of Ting and that core then rose up slowly.

As it rose up, Ting touched the earth above her head which had began to move according to her will.

The ground opened up and created a way for her and the core to float up then the earth that had been passed had slowly returned to its place.

The tunnels started to collapse and the ground returned to normal while Ting and the core kept rising up until she finally reached the surface.

If there were people standing on the surface at that time then there would be a large risk to their lives due to them falling in and being buried.

Once everything was done, there were four figures that sat studying and taking samples of the various parts of the bungee grass, the roots and the core.

Alyssia was interested in studying it but Yvie, Ting and Ton naturally were very interested in it.

Meanwhile the others who knew them better had shown a pale face as they knew the minds of Alyssia and Yvie.

"No.. not another strange weapon.."

"It cannot be helped."

"Sigh.."
