Knagslot layed on the bed in his room. Playing with his fingers and whistling. The place felt weird and strange to him. He thought about this world:MINION'S DOMAIN.
He haven't been outside, to the street to really know about this place and he felt curious to. His victory had propelled him to some kind of celebrity status. He was every one's favourite fighter now. But he didn't know how to fight, so why had he been so successful.
An idea suddenly crossed his mind, he decided to leave the room and go explore outside. At least find something new to answer the curiousity he had been having. Two quick strides had gotten him to the door which he opened delicately, putting a bit of his head outside to peer if anyone was coming. Seeing no one, he went outside and shut the door gently. He walked down the place that felt lonely and deserted, walking in the middle of the road so as prevent being caught by anything that sprunged from the sides.
Knagslot's breath was faster as he walked slowly down what seemed like an alley. He noticed the place was dark and the light bulbs flickered inconsistently. Noiseless, that was how the place was. Suddenly he heard footsteps, hitting the ground with pace. His mind raced on the next decision to take, their was a corner up ahead and it definitely was where the footfalls were coming from, he looked around, scared as hell on being caught. He looked backwards and saw a ladder far away slanted by the wall. He quickly ran towards it - in slow steps.
The footfalls were becoming very nearer now. Knagslot climbed up the ladder briskly and as fast as his legs could carry him. It was an iron ladder actually and it led up to the ceiling. The footfalls now produced a figure clothed in dark overalls with a small book in hand carrying a black cover.
Knagslot was now holding on to the iron bars on the ceiling and making himself a sort of spider. He watched, with bated breaths, as the figure In dark overalls walked past his side. A hood was covering the figure's face and it wore black eyeglasses. The figure looked sideways as it went down the place. Knagslot watched on, horrified, a gap escaping from his mouth and a gasp almost following.
When the figure was farther ahead and almost out of sight for knagslot to see, he gently came down and decided to follow the route the figure had taken. Curiosity was taking the best of him and he didn't like it but what could he do. He went towards were the figure in black overalls had taken. He was getting used to this place, the whole thing seemed like an alley connected to a much bigger stuff.
He looked backwards occasionally, catching glimpses of only flickering lights- nothing really to catch his attention. He didn't see the figure again but he could still sense it's presence far ahead. Knagslot thought of many things and of course many possibilities also to accompany his thoughts. 'What if this was a thief trying to still something '.'What if this was the owner of the game, trying to go to the secret control room?'
Knagslot knew no actual answer to his question, but he hoped to do so by trailing this figure. He heard something now:
"I'm on my way, get the machines ready".
Knagslot gaped.
It was a female voice, a light soft voice he was sure if it sang it'll definitely be a soprano. He halted his moves with that noise.
"They are very important to us now, I mean, they are very few of them left", the female voice said.
Knagslot turned to a corner and could see the figure now. The place he turned to were full of tall and big trash cans and reeked if not anything but very repulsive. It made knagslot want to puke. He removed it from his mind because the mission at hand was more than puking. He was getting to something here. He actually tip toed, avoiding to make any noises and at times, he hid behind a trash can just to be sure.
Knagslot noticed that they were walking to a dead end. It was just a blank wall in front of the woman.
'Time for another magic to unfold', thought knagslot.
The woman was turning her neck backwards and knagslot caught that with surprising celerity as his reaction was diving silently in front of a trash can. The woman's head was backwards and when she was satisfied she wasn't being followed, she turned it forward and said to the phone which knagslot who was peering just noticed she was holding on her right hand.
"Open the door", she said into the phone.
" Copy", came the reply from the voice speaking from the phone.
Knagslot smiled. This was getting interesting. Where was the door to open?. He anticipated something, something that would amaze him and he got that alright. The brick wall started to split aside, dramatically, moving backwards very slowly. White dusts followed the opening as it split, revealing a small opening of vibrant lights inside.
"Could you make it faster, I don't have all day you know", said the woman into the phone in her hand.
The door opened faster now and soon it was wide opened, red, green, violet, pink, blue and yellow vibrant lights gleaming from inside. The woman walked into the place and as knagslot managed to peer, he saw many humans and few beasts all strapped on a machine, near what seemed like the entrance to an oven. Lanky humans with emaciated faces, layed along with some ugly and face twisted beasts.
Knagslot was confused. He stared at the surroundings of the place, the long weird tubes hanging from the ceiling down to the floor made it look like a lab.
" Shut the door", said the woman, her face showing a little more so that knagslot could catch a glimpse of it.
The brick doors closed and just as it was closing, she said: "Let us begin".
The last thing knagslot heard from that point on was:
" Aaaaarghhh!".
