Potatoes

Potatoes, boil them, fry them, mash them it's all a cuisine. As my favorite snack (as of writing this) I am trying to have a potato garden.

It is easy. Have some good and cultivate the soil, and literary drop them like their hot, and baam, you have planted potatoes.

Then wait 3 months, and boom you have potatoes. You only have to water them once a week. 3×4=12, 12 times in their life span.

Sure, the leaves are useless, and green potatoes are a thing, but considering the effort you have to do to grow them, I say it's worth it.
