Chapter 1 - The Storm Dragon/Goblins & Direwolves

Inside a dark cave was a young auburn haired teenage boy laying on the ground in a field of white flowers. The boy's body began to twitch slightly before his eyes opened wide. He suddenly takes a deep breath as if it's been hours since he had last breathed air. His breathing was heavy and movements were uncoordinated as he tries to stand up and make sense of what was going.

In the next few seconds, the boy's body relaxed as he stays in a seated position. With his hand on his chest, he could feel his heartbeat slowing down and returning to its original pace. Cold indifference sweeps over his expression as he looks around.

One would've never thought a teenager with an innocent face as his could give such an expression. Any normal person passing by would've most likely laughed at the naked man asleep in a cave.

But the more experienced, wise and strong would've noticed it.

They would've noticed the aura radiating off of him. It felt as though if you were even in a 10 feet radius from him, your skin would've started to peel off. Your intestines would liquify. No matter what scenario, one would see themselves dead, going up against this monster.

The only thing that could be heard in this silence was the sound of water dripping. Standing up, the teenager begins to survey the unfamiliar surroundings as he walks to the sound. Finding himself a small pond, he kneels down only to stop, staring at his reflection off the water.

"Have I been summoned into that boy's body once again?" The boy's voice cuts through the silence, its coldness matching the chill of the cave.

A wave of fire is then next seen engulfing him for a few seconds before disappearing. Letting out a breath, the auburn haired teenager is shown to be free of harm from the mysterious fire and is now wearing a yukata, which seemed to do the job for him as he begins walking.

Flexing his right hand, a blue light appears at the palm, its shape starts stretching out and the blue light slowly recedes, revealing a katana in his hand. Anyone with a good eye for detail would be able to see the amazing craftsmanship of the blade, including the hilt itself.

"Hm?" The boy halted as he stared at the blade in his hand with confusion.

Looking around him, he closed his eyes and began to focus on his mana. No, not his mana, but what's around him. He could literally feel it grazing every inch of his body. Opening his eyes, he couldn't help but be amazed at the sight. Beautiful. The mana he had almost lost himself in could only be described as unnatural.

It's a miracle the teenager is even alive.

What was even more impressive was the fact that the boy hadn't even moved his head in the slightest, yet he could see 360 degrees around himself. There was also the fact that the cave no longer appeared dark and gloomy to him as if someone had turned on the lights.

<<Synchronizing Extra Skill: {ᴍᴀɢɪᴄ sᴇɴsᴇ} with unique skill {ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ sᴀɢᴇ}... Successful. All information will now be managed by sᴀɢᴇ}.>>

"Who's there?!" The boy yelled as he held up his katana and got into a stance.

<<Answer. It is the effect of your Unique Skill: {ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ sᴀɢᴇ}. The skill has taken effect, making it more immediately available.>>

"Unique... Skill? Great Sage?" The Auburn haired teen mutters as he slightly lowers his sword. "What the hell is going on?"

<<Answer. You have been reincarnated in a parallel world as Magic-Born.>>

"...Seriously?"

<<Seriously. >>

"Would ya' mind doing this old man a favour and explaining what a Magic-Born is?"

<<Incorrect. 2 13 39 Nameless individual, formerly identified as Senji Muramasa in previous life, current body is hours, minutes and seconds old.>>

Senji gave out a light smile as he said, "I meant mentally—"

<<Answer. Magic-Born's are those who came into being from magic itself, monsters experienced sudden mutation, and sentient beings evolved animals or magical beasts.>>

Senji's eyebrow twitched slightly as he had just been ignored by his skill.

"So essentially monsters who have common sense."

<<...Correct. >>

"... And you're telling me, that I ain't human but a monster?!"

<<Yes. Your race is a Demonoid.>>

"A Demonoid the mysterious young lass says." Senji rubs his forehead as he sits down on a nearby rock. "Okay, so I've been reincarnated as a Demonoid, in another world and I've got a cute voice stuck in my head."

<<Activating {sᴘɪʀɪᴛᴜᴀʟ ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ ʀᴇsɪsᴛᴀɴᴄᴇ}.>>

<<No attack detected. Deactivating {sᴘɪʀɪᴛᴜᴀʟ ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ ʀᴇsɪsᴛᴀɴᴄᴇ}.>>

"..." Senji stares at nothing for the next 10 seconds before letting out a sigh. "No point in dwelling over this. What's the worst that could happen, I've already died once. Great Sage is it, what's with the mana in the air?"

<<Conduct Analysis of Magicules in the area?>>

"Magicules...? Yes."

<<...Answer. Result of Analysis show the cause Magicules to be from a Dragon.>>

"A Dragon you say? You're sure?

<<Yes. >>

"Hmmm, I guess the Dragon must be that then." Senji says as he looks towards a certain direction.

It seemed to be the source of where the Magicules were originating from. But what catches Senji's attention is the aura that's being given off.

"It feels like if I take even 5 steps in that direction, I'll faint from Mana - Magicule overload."

<<Notice. There's no need to worry. You have a 98.16% chance of being unaffected by the dense Aura. With your Unique Skill: {sᴏᴜʟ ᴅᴇᴠᴏᴜʀᴇʀ}, you can absorb Magicules and integrate it with yourself.>>

"That makes me feel slightly better. Wait! Unique Skill? ...I think I get it, this whole damn situation is remindin' me of a few of those mangas my previous vessel had enjoyed." Senji speaks to himself as he's come to a realisation. "Great sage, tell me all my skills and resistances or whatever."

Senji then began to listen to his skill as it listed all of his current skills. He began to realise that whatever he was capable of in his past life had be incorporated into this world and body as skills.

"No, it's more than that. This body, it's stronger, faster." Senji then did some light jumps. "And I'm lighter. Without much effort, I could reach the ceiling of the cave." Senji says as he looks up at the ceiling which is approximately 30 feet above him. "I'm also capable of a few things I wouldn't have imagined doing before." Senji says recalling a few of his skills.

Letting out a slight smirk, the Majin begins to walk in the direction of the Dragon. Applying Magic to his feet, he takes a step onto the lake in front of him. Senji continues walking on water as if it was the ground itself and didn't seem to be bothered by it. Once he got to the other side, he prepared himself as this would possibly be his first fight in this new world.

Can you hear me boy?

Senji stops as he slowly looks up. "Well look at that, it really is a Dragon."

KUAHAHAHAHAHA!! You are right! It is I, Veldora the Storm Dragon!!

"A pity" Senji mutters over Veldora's introduction.

Hm?

"A pity" Senji repeats once again.

What?! But I-I'm Veldora! The Storm Dragon!! Don't tell me everyone's forgotten who I am in the last 200 years. No that's impossible... unless it was her doing. To think I of all people am being looked down upon...

Senji couldn't believe what he was seeing. The blacksmith was expecting an Dragon hell bent on destruction, not one so... Childlike? He's sulking. And its only been 10 seconds.

"Heh. Relax Storm Dragon, I'm sure with a title like yours, everyone knows ya. Plus I was just... born you could say."

Ahahahaha! That makes perfect sense. Of course I already knew. The Dragon says putting his hand on his chin.

<<Notice. The individual known as Veldora is lying.>>

"I can see that." Senji whispers to his skill. "What I meant was that you're trapped aren't you? I was really hoping to have a good first battle now that I'm in this world. You could say I'm disappointed." Senji says to Veldora as he walks away.

WAIT!! Don't go!

"Huh?"

I mean its been a while since I've spoken to someone and...

Senji turns back to see the Dragon giving... puppy dog eyes. He couldn't help but make a weird face at the sight and sighed. "How long exactly?"

About... 300 years.

Senji's eyes slightly widened at the number. "Huh, musta' been lonely."

Insolence, as if I would be lonely.

"So you don't want me to stay."

N-no, I didn't say that exactly.

"Relax I'm just messing with ya." Senji gave a teasing smile, causing the Dragon to turn his head away in embarrassment. "Even though I feel bad for you, I somehow get the feeling you deserved it." Senji says as he sits down on the ground.

Well, it happened because I… sort of burnt a town to ashes by accident.

"For real?"

For real. B-but like I said, it was an accident!

"...Sure."

You don't believe me!

Senji chuckled a little as he waved his hand and told Veldora to carry on with his story. From then, the Demonoid listened attentively to the sealed Dragon as he spoke of being defeated by a hero because he underestimated her. However, what Veldora didn't know...

"She wasn't just a simple human."

Hm?

"This is her skill right, the sealing placed on you."

That's right, Unlimited Imprisonment.

"Well it seems, she was no simple young lass playing hero. She was a Demi-God."

Senji drops a bombshell as he stares at the lingering Magicules around Veldora left by the hero. And the seal itself was giving off Divinity, But Senji would have never noticed because of Veldora's Magicules overshadowing it if the dragon hadn't mentioned the hero being blessed with Divinity.

A DEMI-GOD?! I see, that makes total sense...

"It does?"

No it doesn't! If she's a Demi-God, then why have I never heard of her before. Even though it was my first time meeting one, if I had known then I wouldn't have underestimated her from the beginning. AH! Perhaps it's because she was Demi-God before she was summoned.

"Summoned?" Senji looks at Veldora with narrowed eyes.

Humans hailing from another world.

"And how does that work exactly?"

The process requires at least thirty magicians conducting a ceremony that takes place over three days. It's rarely successful, but it is seen as a powerful weapon to have in one's arsenal, should the need arise.

"... A weapon huh? I can already guess what you mean by that..." Senji states with a frown.

"If what Veldora said was true about a Demi-God being summoned here from the world I come from, then I wonder who it was?" Senji wondered. "But a Demi-God using an imprisonment skill like this? Something doesn't add up..."

"Have you ever heard of reincarnation then?"

Reincarnation? I have seen a few reincarnated individuals. Their memories from the past are burned into their souls, due to a powerful will. There are some, indeed, who retain every memory of their past lives.

"But what about about from another world."

Impossible. A regular soul, by itself, would have no hope of surviving a journey across realms. It would dissolve midway, taking its memories with it.

"It seems I'm the first then." Senji mutters as he looks down in deep thought.

What?! You've reincarnated from another world. I see, all the pieces are coming together.

"What pieces...?" Senji raises an eyebrow at the wise aura Veldora began to give off.

Now I can see where your intelligence comes from. You truly are a unique one aren't you. Enough about me, tell me about yourself!

"Hmm, not much to say really."

Not much to say! You have approached my domain and are still alive yet you're not even a days old. Your soul has crossed through realms, something unheard of.

"Hah, seems like I can't keep anything hidden from someone such as you. As expected of a Dragon."

Mwahahaha!! Seems like you understand. Perhaps you are worthy to continue conversing with me.

"I feel honoured." Senji says with a smile.

You should - hey! You're trying to change the subject.

"Ahaha, there's not much to say about this old man other than being a simple blacksmith." Senji says before his expression becomes serious. "You're gonna die you know."

Hm? Yes I am aware.

"You don't seem worried."

Of course, for I have no need to fear death.

Senji stares up at the Dragon with an indifferent expression causing Veldora to stare back at him. But the Dragon couldn't stop the sweat gathering on his back and fidget a little under the pressure of Senji's gaze.

Uh—

"I can't believe I'm even offering to do this." Senji sighs as he stands up.  "Hey Veldora, let's make a deal. I'll help free you before you go and die and you'll promise me you'll never hurt any innocent or go on a rampage. In return let's become friends."

Wh-What? A baby Demonoid wishes to become friends with the mighty beast feared worldwide as Veldora the Storm Dragon?!

"Fine, I guess the deal's off. Nice meetin' ya." Senji waves his hand turning around.

Who said anything about not accepting the deal?!

Senji merely smiled and looked back at the Dragon sneaking glances back at the blacksmith as his index fingers are pointing together.

"Teasing him like this brings back memories of a certain Goddess." Senji thought to himself as he recalls his time in Chaldea.

V-very well... If these are the terms, I have no reason not to comply...

"It seems we are in agreement. I'm glad."

Veldora just continues to nod at his new friend's word shyly before lifting his head in remembrance.

That's right... Kheum, allow me to name you, and in return you will give a family name to both of us.

"A name? Oh that's right, I'm a nameless." Senji says in realisation as he remembers Great Sage calling him nameless. "I don't mind, but I'm gonna keep my original name, Senji."

The name from your past life, very well.

"As for a last name... How about Tempest, Veldora Muramasa Tempest."

Muramasa Tempest! MURAMASA TEMPEST! MURAMASA TEMPEST YOU SAY!!

"Well?" Senji tilts his head, unaffected by Veldora's voice.

It's perfect. From this day forth, I am Veldora Muramasa Tempest! You will be called Senji Muramasa Tempest!

As soon as he said those words, Senji grabbed his chest as he felt something being carved into his very soul. Covered in a magnificent light, Senji stares at himself as he could feel the increase in his Magicules as the light slowly disappeared.

"That was weird." Senji mumbles as he clenches his hand.

Now, how will you try and free me?

"Well I don't exactly have a way to free you without killing you given that most of your skills are sealed off as well. And I don't have a weapon capable of destroying a seal that creates its own imaginary space." Senji says, as he recalls the partial analysis he asked Great sage to do of Unlimited Imprisonment while he was conversing with Veldora. "If only I could analyse the inside of the seal as well. I mean you could give me everything I need to know about the inside of the seal, but I ain't looking to stick around in a cave for the first hundred years of my new life."

<<Notice. Using the Unique Skill: {sᴏᴜʟ ᴅᴇᴠᴏᴜʀᴇʀ}, it is possible to store target, Veldora, within your pocket dimension via ᴠᴀᴜʟᴛ}.>>

I-I see. So it's impossible then? I guess this will be it.

Seeing the upset expression of a Dragon, Senji couldn't help but grin. "Now Now, don't get ya' panties in a twist ya' overgrown lizard."

O-Overgrown lizard?!

"There is a way. I can store you in a pocket dimension within my soul... As weird as that sounds. And while I do my thing, we can analyse the skill while on the move.."

Kuahahahaha! Fascinating! Please, go ahead. I leave myself at your mercy!

"You sure? You trust me that much."

Of course, we are friends am I right?!

Staring at the Dragon, Senji felt his emotions stir a little at the proclamation. How long has it been since he can call one a friend?

"Yeah, we are. Then get ready Veldora! You better do your best!"

Kuahahahaha! With the two of us together, this Unlimited Imprisonment is nothing and soon we will have that fight.

Senji smirks, "It's a promise." Raising his right hand, the blacksmith watches as the Dragon looks upon him in anticipation. "Awaken, {sᴏᴜʟ ᴅᴇᴠᴏᴜʀᴇʀ}." As soon as those words left Senji's mouth, a crimson red aura starts to seep out of his hand as it moves towards Veldora. As soon as it reached the Dragon, the aura started to vibrate and turn violent as its size increased, engulfing the sealed Dragon in a tornado. After a few seconds the vortex subsides, returning to Senji. For a fleeting moment, the world holds its breath as Veldora no longer subsides in the cave.

Days passed after Senji Muramasa Tempest devoured Veldora Muramasa Tempest. Slowly it turned into weeks as the blacksmith continued exploring a way out of the cave. He came across numerous creatures which were barely able to harm our reincarnate.

Along the way, Senji made use of his vault as he stored many things such as Hipokute Grass and Magic Ore. As a way to integrate himself into civilisation in the future, Senji thought of selling these as a way to support him for a while until he can find steady source of income.

He wasn't sure of what he should do in this new world other than exploring it and freeing Veldora. Studying the swords and smithing techniques that exist within this world would be a good way to entertain himself for a while and perhaps open up another school - not that he meant to before.

But is he sure he wants to go through all of that again?

Would humans even accept a Majin like himself?

What kind of people are the other monsters?

What are the laws of this world?

Questions like these clouded his mind, but one question weighed on him the most;

What is the world's reaction to Veldora's disappearance?

No doubt almost every resident of this world would have been able to sense Veldora disappear into thin air. The Dragon himself mentioned how almighty he is and the reaction he was expecting off Senji was completely the opposite of what he recieved.

Senji sighed as he heard Great Sage answer;

<<Notice: Cannot Calculate.>>

"Yeah yeah, you ain't much of talker are ya'?"

<<... >>

"Maybe I shoulda' somehow dragged Veldora with me until I reached the exit. Or else I wouldn't be this bored." Senji sighs once again before he flinched.

<<... >>

"You alright lass? I might be wrong here, but you upset or somethin'?"

<<Negative. >>

"Okay." Senji accepts the answer.

Ignoring what just happened, Senji swung his sword at the Centipede blocking his way. To the outside viewer, it the attack seemed to fall 10 feet short as it hadn't even touched the monster. But before the insect could even do anything, its entire body was cut in half as well as the surrounding area.

Senji immediately devoured the body and listened to Great Sage inform him of the skills he obtained. Continuing on his path, the old man realised something that he hadn't worried himself over after being reborn. He hasn't eaten anything.

"Must be a perk of being a Majin."

<<Negative. The consumed bodies of the monsters encountered so far have been used as sustenance.>>

"Ohhh. That makes a lot more sense... Bleugh." Senji couldn't help but stick out his tongue in disgust as he finally realised he technically at those monsters.

A few more days went by as Senji was growing tired and annoyed, wondering if he should just blow this entire cave up. That is until he saw it. A door!

"Just when this old man's back was 'bout to give out." Senji stated as light returned to his eyes.

Opening the door and stepping out of the cave, Senji couldn't help but take a deep breath. Looking at the lush green forest in front of him, with a path leading to the unknown, he smiled. Wiping away the nonexistent tears, Senji spoke;

"Look at this child, it's beautiful is it not. We've made it out."

<<Report. It is beautiful.>>

It was like a parent taking their child on an outing. Which isn't exactly wrong given the fact that Senji's skill was born with him in this world.

<<... >>

Kheum. The auburn haired man began to walk down the path as he looked around, the area filled with magicules, albeit nowhere near the amount of the cave. Glancing to his right then left side, Senji couldn't help but let out a smirk as his steps came to a halt.

Disappearing from where he stood, the blacksmith reappeared in the trees a small distance away, behind a crouching woman dressed in blue. Staring at her appearance for a second, he found her strange as she gave off a slight green glow that complemented her hair and vines surrounded her.

A teasing smile appeared on Muramasa's face as he leaned down and whispered into her ear;

"What are we lookin' at?"

Her eyes widened in surprise as she jumped away and turned to see the boy she was just staring at. Vines appeared out from the tree branch Senji was on as they wrapped around him, securing him in place.

Landing on the ground, she crosses her arms over her chest and was covered in a bright green light.

"Summoning Spirit: Sylphide!"

The light disappeared as what seemed to resemble a fairy formed above the woman.

"Aerial Blade!" The woman closes her eyes and yells with her hands out.

The fairy seemed to sing along as the light seemed to appear around them once again, but intensified. Wind started to gather as the leaves around her were carried along with the current, picking up its speed and approaching Senji.

Once the woman stopped her attack, behind her two others dressed similarly to her appeared and approached her.

"Sister, what hap—"

"Seriously, you didn't have to try and kill me. I was just wonderin' why you lot were spying on me?"

All three of their eyes widened as they turned around to see the auburn haired teen leaning against a tree with his arms crossed. Vines immediately wrapped around him once again, but Senji ignored it and started walking towards them.

The vines began to stretch as he continued walking, as if there was nothing trying to hold him in place.

SNAP!

One after another the vines snapped, and the old man had to admit, this new body of his sure is impressive. Especially given how tight those vines were.

"Look, I'm not gonna hurt you guys or anything, just wanna know, why you were followin' me?" Senji asks with his hands up.

The trio looked between each other, before the one with the summoned spirit stepped forward. "Please forgive us. My name is Treyni and these are my sisters. We are the Dryads that look over the Jura Forest. We sensed a strong and formidable presence leaving the cave in which the Storm Dragon once resided."

"Ah, I see. You were curious of this old man, who he was and what he was doing in that cave." Senji said as she nodded though confused about the mention of 'old man.'

"That's right, do you perhaps know of what happened to Veldora-sama."

"He's not in the cave anymore." Senji simply said as if that explained everything.

Seeing the saddened expressions of their faces, he could tell there was some sort of relationship between the Dragon and them. Perhaps they're his subordinates?

"By the way, how did you sense me?" Senji asked curiously.

"Hm? The aura you're giving out of course." Treyni said.

"Huh." His aura? His eyes widened as he completely forgot about his skill. "Great Sage, deactivate Mythical Aura."

<<Notice. Deactivating {ᴍʏᴛʜɪᴄᴀʟ ᴀᴜʀᴀ}.>>

"Completely forgot about that. Sorry if I scared you kids." Senji apologises before walking away. "Anyway, it was nice meeting you."

Treyni snapped out of her confusion over someone who somehow forgot about the aura they were releasing and called out to him;

"A-ah, wait! What about your business in the Jura Forest? What do you plan to do?"

"Hm? My business? I have none?" Senji tilts his head at her in confusion, wondering about the cause for her worry.

"You don't... Sorry, we had thought you were like the other monsters."

"Other monsters?"

"Yes. Ever since the disappearance of our guardian, a lot of the monsters have become more chaotic and dangerous. While the others are fighting each other over dominance for the forest itself. The most notable so far are the Direwolves."

"By guardian, they aren't talking about - who am I kidding? These girls are definitely on about Veldora." Senji's eyebrow twitched and he could feel a big migraine coming as he listened to Treyni.

"But what worries us the most is the Majin's leaving and entering the forest as they please. We're keeping an eye on them just in case—"

"Okay okay! I've heard enough." Senji sighed.

"Dammit Veldora, you could've at least warned me about the people under you." Senji grumbled before looking at the confused Treyni. "There's not much you can do 'bout the Majin's because to me, sounds like they haven't done nothin' wrong. The Direwolves... haaah, tell me what they're up to right now?"

Listening to Treyni explain the current situation of the forest, Senji couldn't help but curse his previous vessel. If only their emotions and personality hadn't been mixed together and carried over to this world, then he wouldn't have cared much about all this and something as small as guilt wouldn't have bothered him.

"Guess I'm going to play hero and saves these Goblins. Just hopin' my old bones can handle bein' back in action again." Senji muttered as Treyni giggled.

"Thank you for doing this, but what will you do after you save the Goblins?"

"Maybe get the whole Jura forest and monsters under control once again." Senji says before walking in the direction of the battle between Goblins and Direwolves.

All of this was his fault.

After a few minutes of walking, Senji began hearing the screams of both male and female as well as growls, he picks up the pace only to see a one sided massacre. Bodies of Goblins littered everywhere, some dead, some on the brink of death. The dead bodies of the wolves Senji was told about was scarce.

Hearing more growl and the sounds of crying, the blacksmith looks to see an elder Goblin as well as a young one mourning over a dead body. Noticing the Direwolves surrounding them, Senji grabs the Katana on his hip and disappears before reappearing next to the Goblins.

Behind him were the Direwolves who turned their hostility to the newcomer, but before they knew it, the world seemed to be split in half, vertically, before everything went dark.

Staring down at the gaping Goblins, the younger one stood up, his entire body shaking, and holding a sword.

"Not bad, even though you know you can't win, you're ready to defend your people." Senji simply says before staring at the dead body.

"Please tell us what you want strong one." The elder with the cane speaks up.

"Not much really, you see I've heard of what's been goin' on ever since Veldora's disappearance, and I'm here to set things back on its natural path."

"I-I see, then please help us, we beg of you." The elder said kneeling down with his face on the floor.

The younger one seeing this also bowed down, both tears threatening to spill.

"Very well. Take me back to your camp. But before that…"

Senji walks over to an injured as he places his katana on his hip and hovers his right hand over the Goblin. A red blob of liquid appears, floating underneath Senji palm and drops down onto the Goblin, splashing all over him. A slight glow was seen as the liquid disappeared, but not only that, the injuries that the Goblin sustained had miraculously healed as well.

"Huh?!" Both the elder and young goblins yelled out in surprise.

Senji continued to do this to all injured Goblins as they all looked at him in awe, surprise and gratitude. They then lead the blacksmith to their village, though it could barely be called one. All Goblins were lined up staring at their new guest in confusion and were for some reason sceptical.

"How many soldiers do you have?" Senji asked the elder.

"Around 70 including females."

"Haaah, this troublesome. All right, the first thing you lot ought to do when protecting your home is creating some kind of defence—"

AWWOOOOO!!

"Hm?"

"It's the Direwolves!"

"We're all going to be eaten!"

"There's nothing we can do!"

Senji watched all the Goblins panic and cry out in fear of what seems to be inevitable. Shaking his head, he spoke up;

"All of you, pipe down! You're gonna bust an eardrum. This sight before me is pathetic, all of ya' scared of a bunch of puppies. Now listen! In Veldora, the Storm Dragon's place, I Senji Muramasa Tempest will undo the chaos throughout this forest. My first step will be taking care of all the Direwolves."

"Ughh, was never good at these speeches." Senji thought.

"Lord Muramasa, a-are you sure you will be okay against all Direwolves. You're only human after all." The elder spoke up.

"Human? Where the hell did you get that from, I'm a Majin."

Gasps erupted from all Goblins as they stared at him in shock and disbelief. It was understandable as he never gave off an aura of a monster and looked exactly like a human. No horns, his ears and eyes was normal, everything looked like a regular human to them.

"I'll release a little of my aura as proof." Red glow seeped out of Senji's body, causing everyone in the area to flinch in surprise. "Now do you believe me." He asked, reigning in the aura.

"Yes! Lord Muramasa!" All Goblins yelled as they got down on one knee, with their heads down.

Senji blinked before smiling at their change in attitude. Technically he didn't lie, he's not human, but a Demonoid, and barely qualified as a human being in his past life.

"Good! Now listen and pay attention as this old man will lead you all to victory!"

All the Goblins were more in line once they heard of Senji's race being Demonoid. They listened to the blacksmith as he helped them all prepare for the upcoming battle.

"Hey, what are all your names anyway?"

"We do not have names." The elder responded to Senji's question.

"What?"

"The only one who did, was my son who was the guardian of this village. His name was Rigur."

"You mean the boy you were holding when we first met."

The elder merely nodded as they both stared at the Goblins working together. Hearing how rare names are, Senji's assumption was right, Monsters that are named are special and different from others in their own way. It was the same case for him, the special boost in power he had felt in his own body after being named.

"Lord Muramasa! We've brought all the bows and arrows we have and the materials to create more."

Senji looks to see the young boy with the red bandana running towards him with a few others behind. They were holding a bunch of bows, arrows, sticks and stones as well.

"Good work, just focus on making a bunch of arrows and bows, then hand it out to everyone."

"Of course. If you don't mind me asking, are you sure this is all we'll need?"

"Hmmm, maybe a few spears would be good as well, but that's all. I'll take care of the rest."

"Yes sir!" He along with his friends saluted, as they walked away, getting to work.

"I'm gonna go get some rest."

"Yes, though I apologise for the lack of hospitality we can provide you."

"You worry too much." Senji simply says before waving his hand.

Night had come too quick for the Goblins as fear was the constant emotion they were feeling. But there was also another, hope, they hoped they would be able to survive and live another day. Not just survive but win. This was because of their faith to their new leader, Senji Muramasa Tempest, the man who proclaimed he would save this village as well as this forest.

"Hah! To think the Goblins are now relying on a puny human for help."

They were finally here, the Direwolves. There was a good gap between the Goblin's Village and the pack of wolves. Immediately the leader of the wolves laughed and mocked the Goblins as they saw a human standing outside the fence, made to guard the village.

"You're lookin' down on me too much. I may not be in my youth anymore, but I'm sure I could play fetch with you doggies." Senji mocked with an innocent smile, unaffected by the growls coming from the wolves.

"You dare! Go! Destroy them and bring me back that human's body."

As soon as those words left the enemy leader's mouth, 10 wolves immediately charged in, causing a few of the Goblins to take a step back in fear. As the wolves pounced, they stopped mid air, unable to move.

The red bandana Goblin took charge and fired an arrow at a wolf, killing it. Every followed, shooting arrows and throwing spears at the incoming wolves. The ones that stayed behind were confused as they stared at the human and Goblins with vigilance.

"Father, look threads." One of the Direwolves came next to the leader.

"Threads…"

"It's my skill, Sticky Thread. It's to give the Goblins a huge advantage and let em' take their anger or sadness out on you lot." Senji spoke up as he watched everything work out well.

"An outsider like you has the guts to intervene! I'll destroy you!" The leader jumps down from the rock he was perched on.

"Father!"

Charging at the Senji while ignoring his son's call in blind fury, the leader was too late to see the katana in Senji's hand as the Demonoid swung it upwards. The sword broke and exploded once it was swung, causing a massive gust of wind. The fence put up by the Goblins was destroyed in an instant, and the wolves that hadn't moved yet were the ones who were most affected by the blast.

But what caught all of them off guard was what Senji cut. It's wasn't just the leader of the Direwolves but also what seemed to be reality itself. It only lasted for a second before it disappeared.

The smoke soon cleared out and what was left was the blacksmith standing in front of a long and narrow crevice. Two thuds were then heard, and on each side of the fissure was half of the leader's body, that was cut diagonally. At this moment no one had moved nor had they spoken a word.

"Your leader is dead, now the choice is up to you. Direwolves, submit or die!" Senji said as he watched the remaining wolves wobble over to him, injuries sustained from Senji's attack.

Seeing this, the old man released a little of his aura as it overwhelmed the wolves, but they held on as they got closer. Yet Senji continued to stare at them with a calm smile. Once they were a few feet away, they all layed on the ground.

"Our pack yields to you!" The wolves declared.

"That's that I guess." Senji says as he stops releasing his aura.

"D-did we win?" A Goblin asked.

"Pretty obvious, ain't it."

After Senji responded, cheering and yells of joy came from the Goblins as they won. They finally won, and survived.

"Man, that attack got me all riled up, but theres no one else to fight at the moment." Senji secretly thought to himself. "Well, even though I was holding back, this should be enough to get the Dryads to trust me a little." Senji mutters as he looked at a specific direction.

But what Senji didn't know was the attention he brought to himself from his attack.
