The dawn

Author here! Let me thank you first and foremost for checking out my story! And while I don't think you are here for my thanks I do appreciate you. Without further hinderance

The sky mourns, the winds howl, the ground quakes and the air breaks. The world requests from its inhabitants its toll. Respect the all-mother or perish. Many young and foolish Ruan have died to the worlds anger, and still more die every cycle. Still the tribes hoard their knowledge to themselves. The outcasts must band together to survive, and often times it is not enough. My people are at the dawn of our great ascension and yet the world is challenging us at every step.

Now, it is fire, sickness, storms, and creatures that challenge our rights to this very way of life but soon I fear it will be ourselves. For I believe my people able to trump any and all that the world throws upon us. Our wit is unmatched, our ingenuity knows no bounds and yet already I have heard tales of battles between my own kind. Tribes attacking other settlements, gatherings of the outcasts being sieged by my own people. If this is to be seen at the beginning of our existence maybe it is right for the world to try to rid itself of us. We truly might be a sickness to the all-mother. My People are the Ruan and while we are young we are brave.
