Entering Floating Cloud City was of no difficulty for the duo. There were no guards protecting the entrance, so they didn't have to worry about standing in a huge line, in fact the city was empty to some extent.
Looking at the surroundings of the city, Itachi noticed that the people here seemed to live a good life, at least it seemed more prosperous than the sect he lived in with his mother, where everything was extremely cold.
"I wonder what is feeling in my chest?" Itachi thought.
Already inside the city this feeling began to increase, until reaching a point where he felt his heart burning, as if he wished that he would obtain something in this forgotten city.
Chu Yueli who was walking beside him was no longer recognizable, her appearance was now that of an ordinary woman with ordinary clothes, which made a huge contrast to Itachi who was extremely handsome for a four year old boy.
All the people in town who saw Itachi walking by had smiles on their faces and pointed at the four-year-old boy.
"Look at that, what a cute little boy."
"He will be a girl-killer in the future."
"If I were younger I could marry him." A lady in her fifties commented as she looked dreamily at Itachi.
"Grandma don't say such things, Grandpa might have a heart attack if you act like that." A child next to the lady said with a smile on her face as she looked at the old man next to the old lady.
Itachi just ignored these lines, and continued to head towards a hotel that was near the center of the city. This hotel was owned by a large hotel chain, so it would be nice to stay there.
Entering the hotel, he soon went towards the reception desk to get two hotel rooms, and without much difficulty he managed to stay with Chu Yueli who had been quiet since he entered the city.
"Looks like I found some good saplings on the way, I'll be back soon, you can walk around the city if you wish." Chu Yueli said as she retreated from the room next to Itachi.
"Hn!" Itachi nodded.
With Chu Yueli away for a while, he could explore the city and find out the reason for this restlessness in his chest. But even if he was restless he still chose to rest tonight, the reason was that his body seemed exhausted due to the activation of the Sharingan.
Itachi remembers that in the shinobi world he awakened his Sharingan at the age of 8, but here he achieved the feat of awakening at the age of only 4, if this was brought back to the shinobi world he would be considered the greatest genius in history.
...
After a good night's sleep, Itachi got out of bed while wearing a black suit that he received from his mother. When his mother gave him this costume, she told him that it contained some defensive powers that could help him if he found himself in a situation where he could not handle.
The clothes were simple, but they matched the little Itachi who was only four years old perfectly.
Walking through the streets, Itachi found himself lost in thought and unknowingly he began walking towards a small forest that lay within the city. This forest had an ordinary appearance, and in fact, the forest was ordinary containing only early stage profound beasts, which were used by the clans of the city to train their young from time to time.
By the time Itachi realized that he had entered the forest, he was already in the center of it causing him to shake his head.
"Why am I lost in thought lately?" He thought quietly trying to analyze what was happening to himself.
Walking back to the outer area of the forest, he noticed that there was an abnormality in a certain corner of the forest, this corner that he noticed the abnormality was precisely the place where there was a strip separating the outer area from the central area.
"What is happening in that corner?" With these thoughts Itachi snuck between the trees as he approached in the place where the abnormality was occurring.
The closer he got to the place the more he felt his heart grow restless, as if he was longing for what was there. But Itachi still managed to keep his train of thought and so he continued to sneak around slowly to avoid traps and mishaps.
Itachi seemed not to have noticed, but the moment he was fifty meters away from where the abnormality was occurring, something happened.
The space around the abnormality began to distort, and slowly drifted into a completely unknown place. Itachi only realized that he was in a different place when he realized that the sky no longer contained any trace of light.
Slowly the forest that was taken to another place along with Itachi began to disappear into darkness, as if it was slowly being devoured. It was a frightening scene for anyone who saw it.
Itachi continued to stand still, he was not dumb. He knew that something big happened, and that with his puny strength he could hardly escape this place by force. But he didn't despair, he knew that there was a reason for him to be here, there was definitely a reason.
Someone with the strength to distort space at will would not randomly shoot a four-year-old child. Unless that person is an idiot, but Itachi doesn't think there are idiotic people with that much power.
Hours seemed to have passed and Itachi continued to wait, but nothing seemed to happen, the scene was similar to the one he saw when he was dead.
"The restlessness in my chest has not disappeared, in fact it seems to increase every second since I was brought to this place." And with those thoughts, Itachi saw one of the most unbelievable things in his entire life.
Millions of stars, or rather billions of stars appeared in the dark space making the scene bright and at the same time beautiful. The stars seemed to move evenly and relentlessly, it was as if they were showing their power to Itachi.
The stars quickly began to fly towards Itachi thus slowly forming a whirlpool around him. Itachi felt the restlessness in his heart slowly disappear, his body seemed to have completely relaxed, memories of his entire life began to flash before his eyes.
His past life, and his new life. All these memories connected to one person, one soul.
Little by little the stars began to enter Itachi's body, strengthening his body and soul, calming him, healing him, protecting him.
Itachi had never felt this in his entire life, and most likely would never feel it again.
Slowly Itachi lost consciousness...
