Chapter 08 (Survival)

Laurinda: Stevenson tricks us. We have to move back and take June and Shawn to the hospital.

Ray: I have seen the back door. John is also present there.

Lisa: If you forgot I will make it remember to you that we lost signals.

Ray: But it's the last option. We have to take this risk.

Laurinda and Margaret carry June while ray and June were arguing.

Margaret: Carry Shawn we have to move fast.

Ray and Lisa carry Shawn and Margaret helps Laurinda. Then they start moving and when they just reach the back door they saw John and Mike waiting for them. John helps them by encountering Steve's guard. When they reach John and Mike they didn't see April and Jack.

Lisa: We have to move faster because June and Shawn are badly injured.

Mike: We are tricked. And now no one is helping us.

Margaret: I know someone here. My friend before moving to Chicago we are used to being best friends and I have seen her here. We can go to her home.

Ray: But where are jack and April?

Mike shows them April's necklace and Jack's watch which are filled in blood. Laurinda got depressed but tries to remain calm.

Laurinda: Where are their bodies?

Mike: In the back of the car.

John moves toward the car. Laurinda and Margaret put June and Ray put Shawn in the car. They move toward Margaret's friend house

Margaret knocks at the door. The door opens slightly. They enter in the house.

Margaret: I need your help. My two friends are badly injured. You have to treat them.

Julie: Take them to the basement room. I have some medicines and equipment there. I will call my friend Linda. She is also a doctor and lives with me.

Margaret: Is it ok to believe her because..

Julie: She is my friend and also lives with me. You can trust her.

Then Julie calls Linda while Ray and Laurinda take June and Shawn to the room. Linda reaches to the room. Linda and Julie treat them. Julie treats Shawn and Linda treats June. But June already losses more blood than Shawn. Shawn stabilizes Julie moves toward June's bed to help Linda. Suddenly June goes into cardiac arrest and then they start CPR Linda trying hard and hard to revive her 10 mins passed but she didn't give up at last.

Julie: Stop it now Linda. You tried your best.

June was dead and everyone burst out in tears for losing their 3 friends.

25th December 09:00 a.m. (Julie's home)

Laurinda: Fortunately I got a call from a commander. He said that he sent two people to take us back to Chicago.

Ray: Have you told them about...

Laurinda: Yes, I tell them about the deaths.

Suddenly there is a call on Laurinda's cell phone. It's an unknown number. Laurinda picked up.

Stevenson (with an evil laugh): So you are alive. I thought you were dead and no one will pick my phone. By the way, how was my welcome gift? Did you like it and your friends did they enjoy it? (Evil laugh)

Laurinda got shocked by listening to his voice. There's is a fast flashback of all deaths of her family and friends.

Laurinda: You made a huge mistake by killing my friends and family. Now it's confirmed that you had a death wish. I will definitely grant you that wish. Just wait and watch.

She cuts the call and leaves the room in anger.

Margaret: Is Shawn doing well?

Julie: Yes, he is better now.

03:00 p.m. (Julie's home)

Laurinda: I am going to meet the person who is here to help us.

Margaret: Alone?

Ray: I am coming with you. Two are better than one.

Laurinda and Ray leave Julie's home and reach the address that the commander gave them. Here they meet two persons which tell them about their exit. They come back home at 06:00 p.m. Margaret opens the door.

Laurinda: At 03:00 a.m. tonight we are going back to Chicago. Commander did all preparation.

Lisa: What about our mission?

Margaret: What about Shawn? Julie said his condition is not that well to take him anywhere like that.

Ray: Commander had done all preparation about that also.

Mike run towards the room and told them about Shawn's condition.

Mike: Shawn has gained his consciousness and asked me to bring all of you there.

Everyone moves toward his room.
