CH. 11 Shino Part 2

Ryu looks at the man in front of him and smiles. 'I knew it!' thought Ryu as the man in front of him was Kojiro Shinomiya.

The 79th generation of Totsuki Academy Alumnus and also the former first seat of the Elite Ten Council.

"Hello," said Ryu and waved his hands at Kojiro. Ryu smiles and stares with a great interest at Kojiro, which caused him to shivered. 'Why is that man looking at me like that?!' thought Kojiro and smile back.

The two didn't do anything else, except smiling at each other. Causing a strange atmosphere around the VIP seats.

Kojiro seems to notice and he decided to break the weird atmosphere. "So, what would you like to order for today's dinner?" asked Kojiro.

Hearing this question, Ryu smile. "what do you recommend then, Mr. Chef?" asked Ryu. "However, every restaurant would say that everything is nice," said Ryu interrupting Kojiro.

"So, entertained me. Give me a good dinner! Surprise Me!" said Ryu.

Listening to Ryu's words, Kojiro smile as he knew what Ryu was talking about. He slightly bowed and entered the kitchen immediately. 'This is going to be fun!' thought Ryu.

[Agree]

Hearing the usual mechanical system voice, Ryu thought of something. "System, could we do some changes?" asked Ryu.

[Like What?]

"Changing from five countries to three or two? You know that five countries are a bit too much right?" asked Ryu as he feels that traveling to five countries is not very relaxing.

[Sure]

"Really?" Ryu was surprised as the System usually answered: "No, it is what the System wants". He felt that something else is going to happen.

[Yes]

"Ding"

[Mission: Travel to three Countries]

[Paris (Not Complete)]

[Italy (Not Complete)]

[China (Not Complete)]

[Reward: Gate to One Piece, 10,000 points]

Looking at the screen, Ryu noticed that something has been added to the mission. "System, what do you mean by Paris, Italy, and China?"

[As the Great System has changed from five to three countries]

[The System then decided to choose the country for Host]

Ryu smiled and keeps silent as he didn't care much about the changes in the mission. However, something was telling him that his next trip will not be easy.

Time Skip - 30 minutes

Ryu was still sitting by his table waiting for his food. He has been waiting for 30 minutes. However, he still smiles and drinks his wine quietly.

Many waiters came by his table to talk and ask the question as they didn't want him to be bored.

BAM

Ryu put his wine glass down and turned to looks at the kitchen. He saw Kojiro carrying a plate toward him. "Finally come. I have waited for quite some time!" said Ryu.

"So sorry for keeping you wait," said Kojiro and placed the plate down. Ryu looks at the plate and smile as he knew what it was.

"Nine Vegetable Terrine. Good choice!" said Ryu and picked up his fork and knife. He slowly cut the Nine Vegetable Terrine into four pieces.

Ryu used his fork and picked up on of the pieces. He looks at the nine layered of vegetables. "Beautiful," said Ryu as the nine vegetables were perfectly arranged. Ryu opened his mouth and eats the food.

Slowly Ryu starts to taste the Nine Vegetable Terrine. "Hm!" Ryu was surprised at the moment he bites the vegetable.

The sweet juice came out and surrounded his mouth. He could taste the sweetness of the vegetable.

Ryu placed the fork down and smile. He looks around and found that Kojiro has gone back to the kitchen. "How was the food!?" asked a waiter. "Good," said Ryu which makes the waiter somehow proud.

"But, using different types of vegetables and arranged them together. They caused quite a bad bitter taste," said Ryu and drinks his wine.

The waiter was shocked by Ryu's comment as no one has ever comment like that before.

Noticing that the waiter was in deep thought, Ryu pushed the plate of Nine Vegetable Terrine to the waiter. "Taste it," said Ryu and passed the fork to him.

The waiter took the fork and looks at the plate. He used the fork and picked up one of the pieces, before eating it.

It was like what Ryu has experienced, the fresh and sweet juice surrounded him. The waiter smile as it was so delicious, but suddenly he feels something as after the sweetness has gone.

A bitter taste suddenly rushed up, even though it was a second. The waiter feels bad and looks at Ryu. "You taste it?" asked Ryu, but the waiter didn't answer, but walks away into the kitchen as he takes the plate of Nine Vegetable Terrine with him.

Shino Kitchen

"Chef Kojiro!" shouted the waiter as he entered the kitchen. "What is it?!" asked Kojiro. The waiter passed the plate to him, "The customer said it was bitter" said the waiter. "Huh?" Kojiro was surprised and taste the Nine Vegetable Terrine.

As Kojiro taste the Nine Vegetable Terrine, he could taste the bitterness. He was shocked and put the plate down. "Which customer is it," asked Kojiro. "The Premium VIP Guest," said the waiter. "Interesting!" smile Kojiro.

"Go out and tell him to wait for a few minutes," said Kojiro and continues cooking. "Huh?" The waiter was surprised as the Chef Kojiro would usually do nothing. "Why?" asked the waiter. "The main dish is coming!" said Kojiro and smile.

Ryu was sitting and drinking his wine. He would sometimes talk to the table next to him as he was waiting for his main dish. As the waiter came out and told him to wait as Kojiro is now preparing something new and delicious for him.

[Looks like Host has made Kojiro serious]

Ryu smiled and nodded his head in agreement. When the waiter went into the kitchen, Ryu has asked the System to show what happens in the kitchen.

"He is just like those kids," said Ryu and sighed. Looking at the screen is showing Kojiro and how excited he is when cooking. It reminds Ryu of Souma and the other kids like Alice, Megumi, Ryo, Erina, or Akira.

As Ryu thinks about the past, he noticed that someone was walking toward him. "Finally!" shouted Ryu and looked up to see Kojiro and a huge plate that he was holding.

Kojiro smile and placed the plate down in front of Ryu. "Your meal has served," said Kojiro.
