Three Months

By now, Jack had already recovered, lowering his head to regard Tang San, and said astonished:

"Little San, you couldn't be that innate full spirit power blue silver grass child mentioned by the grandmaster ?"

Tang San nodded, said:

"It's me."

Old Jack crouched down, and faced Tang San. Looking at him, Jack said,

"Little San, I did not expect your talents to be so remarkable. It's too bad, you have that father who doesn't have good spirit to pass on to you. Otherwise, perhaps you truly could become our village's second spirit saint. You tell grandpa whether or not you want to go to a special school to study spirit master cultivation method. Only that place has access to the most accurate knowledge about spirits."

While looking at Jack speaking in such a manner to Tang San, JoyBoy thought

"Bruh! I am literally standing next to Tang San but you are ignoring me like there is no tomorrow. Atleast your behavior towards Tang San is much better than Su Yuntao.

Still, I can't exactly blame the poor guy for placing his hopes on Tang San. Innate full spirit power is no joke, according to what I remember from the books. Huh! Their conversation went exactly like in the book."

After finishing his conversation with Tang San, he turned towards JoyBoy and said

"Little JoyBoy, before leaving, Grandmaster Su Yuntao left a recommendation letter for you to join the Nuoding city primary spirit master academy to study.

Earlier he seemed really impressed by your passionate speech ? Anyway, you should start preparing yourself for the academy.

There is still three months before this year's Nuoding spirit master primary academy enrollment, so you should have sufficient time for that."

After saying this, he directly left with Tang San without bothering about other children. Seeing this made JoyBoy feel even more upset.

"Not cool bro, not cool at all."

While having these thoughts, JoyBoy also left directly to where he lived. He still needed to sort his memories and experiences from both lives. He felt that a good sleep should do it.

It took him nearly five days to adjust properly after going through his recent changes. After awakening his martial spirit, the first big change he noticed was that he never seemed to get tired. He also stopped feeling hungry, always feeling full of energy. Because of this, he hasn't slept in the last two days.

Another big change he noticed was the drastic increase in his intelligence. His ability to grasp anything was ridiculous. He was able to memorize anything after seeing it just once. He tried this with his local school books and learned everything instantly.

He also noticed that he became much better in reading other people's expressions. His thought process felt much clearer and faster than even his previous life. Even his reaction rate had become much better than before.

After noticing these big changes, he was able to identify the reason behind his seemingly infinite stamina. It was because of his martial spirit, the Power Gem.

From his memories he realized that any person who holds the Power Gem in his/her hand receives Infinite stamina as a passive ability. Energy is one thing a holder of Power Gem never runs out of.

Although he was not able to find the reason behind his increased intelligence, he was not complaining. He made a basic plan on what to do for the next three months before leaving the village.

He decided to do the Saitama exercises in the morning though not the complete sets of 100, but only doing sets of 10 as he didn't want to affect his growing body.

He only increased to sets of 20 after two months had passed and his body had well adapted. The only part he finished completely was the 10 Km run before increasing it to 20 Km run as stamina was not a problem for him and running increased his agility.

In the night time when everyone was asleep, he started trying to meditate though he didn't know how to proceed. Then he remembered from his memories a scene from the 'Bleach' anime in which the shinigami students in the soul society were shown meditating, trying to speak to their swords.

So, he also started doing the same thing except, instead of trying to speak to his sword, he would summon his martial spirit, and try to communicate with it.

Although he wasn't successful in his communication with his martial spirit, he did learn how to control his mental facilities to some extent.

At the end of the three months, he was able to quickly calm his thoughts before controlling them at conscious level.
