3rd person POV –

Press Conference: Champion of the Sinnoh Conference

The hall was packed to capacity. Reporters from all across the Pokémon world had gathered in the grand auditorium of the Lily of the Valley Island's Pokémon League headquarters. Cameras flashed incessantly, their lenses focused on the boy who had just made history. At the podium stood Jordan Smith, the newly crowned Sinnoh Conference Champion, flanked by League officials and his mentor, Professor Rowan.

Jordan adjusted the microphone, his calm yet commanding presence filling the room. His well-built frame, resembling that of a seasoned martial artist, and his confident demeanor made him seem far older than his eleven years. Dressed in a sharp black and red trainer's jacket emblazoned with Sinnoh's emblem, he looked every bit the Champion he had become.

Behind him was a massive LED screen displaying highlights from his matches: his Steelix towering over its opponents, his Garchomp tearing through attacks with unyielding determination, and his Salamence soaring majestically. The energy in the room was electric.

Charles Goodshow, the President of the Pokémon League, stepped forward to start the proceedings.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are here today to celebrate a momentous occasion. Jordan Smith has not only won the Sinnoh League but has done so in a way that will be remembered for generations. His tactical brilliance, the unbreakable bond with his Pokémon, and his sportsmanship have set a new standard in competitive Pokémon battling. Let's give him a round of applause!"

The room erupted into cheers, and Jordan gave a humble nod, stepping forward as Goodshow motioned for him to address the crowd.

"Thank you, Mr. Goodshow," Jordan began, his voice steady and clear. "And thank you to everyone who's supported me throughout this journey. Winning the Sinnoh League is a dream come true, but it's not just my victory—it's a testament to the incredible partnership I have with my Pokémon. Every battle we've fought has been a step toward this moment, and I couldn't be prouder of them."

The first reporter, a woman from Sinnoh Battle Weekly, raised her hand. "Jordan, your battles in the league were nothing short of extraordinary. Many of your opponents were seasoned trainers, yet you defeated them with seeming ease. How did you prepare for such a demanding tournament?"

Jordan smiled thoughtfully. "Preparation started long before the league. Every gym battle, every wild encounter, and every loss taught me something. My Pokémon and I train not just for strength but for adaptability. We study different strategies, but more importantly, we build trust. In the end, our bond is what carried us through."

A reporter from Hoenn Trainer Digest stood next. "Your Garchomp was phenomenal in the finals, especially in the way it overpowered Aurora Vega's Aurorus. Some are calling it one of the strongest Garchomp in the world. How did you train it to such a level?"

Jordan's face lit up with pride. "Garchomp and I have been through a lot together. We started training in harsh conditions—mountain terrains, sandstorms, you name it. But what truly made the difference was focusing on Garchomp's endurance and its ability to think on its feet. It's not just about raw power; it's about knowing when to strike and how to outmaneuver your opponent."

A buzz filled the room as another reporter asked, "Your Steelix became a hot topic during the tournament, not just for its strength but for its size. It's at least four times larger than the average Steelix. Can you tell us more about it?"

Jordan chuckled. "Steelix is unique. Its size is due to a rare genetic trait we call the 'Giant Gene.' I caught it as an Onix in the mountains near Oreburgh City, and even then, it was massive. Training was a challenge at first because its size made it hard to control. But once we synced, its size became its greatest asset. Steelix is my team's immovable wall, and it's a vital part of my strategy."

A journalist from Johto's Goldenrod Gazette raised his hand. "Jordan, your victory has sparked international attention. Trainers like Cynthia and Lance have praised your skills, and some are already calling you a potential world Champion. How does it feel to receive such recognition at such a young age?"

Jordan hesitated, his humility shining through. "It's... surreal, to be honest. I've looked up to trainers like Cynthia and Lance my whole life. To hear them speak about me that way is an honor. But I know I still have a lot to learn. This win is just one step in a much bigger journey."

A reporter from Unova Trainer Weekly leaned forward. "What's next for you, Jordan? Will you challenge the Sinnoh Elite Four and Cynthia, or do you have other plans?"

Jordan took a deep breath, his expression serious. "I've thought a lot about my next steps. The Sinnoh Elite Four is definitely on my mind, but I also want to explore other regions, meet new trainers, and learn from different battle styles. There's a whole world out there, and I want to experience as much of it as I can."

A quieter moment came when a reporter from Poké-Net Stories asked, "Jordan, what does this victory mean to you personally? Beyond the fame and recognition, what's the most significant part of this achievement?"

Jordan paused, his eyes reflecting a deep emotion. "For me, this victory is about proving to myself and my Pokémon that we can overcome any challenge. It's about showing that hard work, resilience, and trust can take you farther than you ever imagined. Winning the league is a milestone, but it's the journey that led here that means the most."

Toward the end, a moderator announced questions submitted by fans online.

Fan Question 1: "Will we see you in the Indigo League next year?"

Jordan smiled. "It's a strong possibility. I've heard great things about Kanto, and it would be amazing to compete there."

Fan Question 2: "Who was your toughest opponent in the Sinnoh League?"

"Aurora Vega in the finals," Jordan admitted. "Her team was incredibly well-prepared, and her Aurorus pushed my Garchomp to its limits."

Fan Question 3: "What's your ffavoritePokémon on your team?"

Jordan laughed. "That's like asking a parent to pick their favorite kid. I love all my Pokémon equally."

As the conference wound down, Jordan stood to deliver a final statement.

"To everyone who supported me, trained with me, or challenged me, thank you. This victory isn't just mine—it's a celebration of what Pokémon and their trainers can achieve together. I'm excited for what's next, and I promise to keep pushing forward."

The crowd erupted into applause as Jordan stepped away from the podium. Reporters and fans alike buzzed with excitement, their respect for the young Champion growing even stronger.

This press conference not only showcased Jordan's achievements but also provided a glimpse into the thoughtful, humble, and determined young trainer who had captured the hearts of the Pokémon world.

Jordan POV –

The warm glow of the evening sun filtered through the windows of the Smith family home in Sandgem Town. Jordan sat in the living room with his parents, Lily and James, the Sinnoh League trophy gleaming proudly on the coffee table between them. His parents' faces radiated pride, but beneath the surface, Jordan could sense their concern.

Lily, a kind-hearted woman with a calming presence, broke the silence. "You've done something incredible, Jordan. Winning the Sinnoh League at your age is a feat most trainers only dream about."

James, a former trainer himself, leaned forward, his muscular arms resting on his knees. "But the question is, what's next? You've mentioned the Elite Four challenge, but are you sure you're ready for that kind of battle so soon after the league?"

Jordan sighed, running a hand through his dark, spiky hair. "I've thought about it a lot. I don't want the title of Champion—that's not my goal. I want to see how far I can push myself and my Pokémon against the strongest trainers in Sinnoh. This isn't about the glory or the position; it's about testing myself."

Lily reached out, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Jordan, we trust you. You've always been mature beyond your years, and you've proven time and again that you know what you're doing. If this is what you feel is right, then we'll support you."

James nodded in agreement. "But remember, the Elite Four are no ordinary trainers. They've dedicated their lives to mastering their types. It won't just be about raw power; it'll be about strategy, endurance, and adaptability."

Jordan smiled, his confidence shining through. "That's exactly why I want to do this. I know it won't be easy, but neither was the league. My team and I have faced challenges before, and we're ready to face them again."

Later that evening, after dinner, Jordan retreated to his room. He sat at his desk, the glow of his Rotom Phone lighting up his face. He navigated to Charles's contact and hit the call button. The League President answered almost immediately, his cheerful voice coming through.

"Jordan! To what do I owe the pleasure? Still basking in the glory of your victory?"

Jordan chuckled. "It's been an amazing experience, Mr. Goodshow, but I've been thinking about what comes next. I wanted to talk to you about challenging the Elite Four—not for the Champion position, but as a test for myself."

Charles hummed thoughtfully. "That's an interesting proposal. You're not the first trainer to want a non-official challenge against the Elite Four, but it's certainly rare. Are you sure you're up for it? They're the best of the best for a reason."

"I'm sure," Jordan said firmly. "This isn't about titles or recognition. I want to push myself and my team to their absolute limits. Win or lose, I'll learn something valuable from the experience."

"Very well," Charles said after a moment. "I'll make the arrangements. Since this is a non-title challenge, the rules will be slightly different. You'll battle each member of the Elite Four consecutively, with breaks for recovery between matches. If you defeat all four, you'll receive a monetary reward and some special privileges, such as access to exclusive training facilities and mentorship opportunities."

Jordan's eyes lit up. "Thank you, Mr. Goodshow. That's more than I expected."

Charles laughed. "You've earned it, Jordan. I'll notify the Elite Four, and we'll set a date. I have no doubt they'll be eager to take you on—you've made quite the impression."

After hanging up, Jordan sat back in his chair, staring out the window at the star-filled sky. He felt a mix of excitement and nervousness coursing through him. This was the next step in his journey, a chance to prove to himself and his team just how far they'd come.

"I've got this," he whispered to himself, determination blazing in his eyes.

["Sinnoh League Champion Jordan Smith to Challenge the Elite Four!"]

[By: Elisa Hart, Sinnoh Daily Chronicle]

Lily of the Valley Island, Sinnoh – Just days after his historic victory at the Sinnoh League Conference, Jordan Smith has made waves yet again by announcing his intent to challenge the Sinnoh Elite Four. The 11-year-old prodigy, who has captivated fans across the globe with his powerful Pokémon and unrelenting strategies, clarified that this is not a bid for the Champion title but a personal test to push himself and his Pokémon to their limits.

"I'm not doing this for the title or the glory," Jordan said during a brief interview outside his home in Sandgem Town. "This challenge is about growth. My team and I want to see how we measure up against the strongest trainers in Sinnoh."

The announcement immediately set the Pokémon community abuzz, with fans and experts alike speculating on the outcome of these highly anticipated battles.

Cynthia, Sinnoh's current Champion, expressed admiration for Jordan's bold decision. "Jordan has shown extraordinary skill and composure during the league," she said. "It's no surprise he wants to challenge the Elite Four. I'm especially interested in seeing the bond he shares with his Pokémon in action—it's clear they trust him completely."

Aaron, the Bug-type specialist of the Sinnoh Elite Four, shared his thoughts on the upcoming challenge. "I've been keeping an eye on Jordan since the league started. He's sharp, but let's see how he handles my swarm. I'm looking forward to the battle."

Bertha, known for her mastery of ground types, remarked, "It's rare to see such maturity in a young trainer. I've seen his strategies, and they're impressive. But a League victory is one thing—challenging the Elite Four is a whole different game."

Fans have taken to social media and forums to express their excitement –

@TrainerFanatic87: "Jordan vs. the Elite Four?! This is going to be legendary! Can't wait to see how his Garchomp stacks up against Bertha's powerhouse lineup."

@SinnohChampFan: "Did you hear Jordan's bringing his strongest Pokémon? He didn't even use his Torterra or Aggron in the league! This is going to be insane!"

@AceTrainerMilo: "Jordan is like a new Cynthia in the making. The way he battles is so calculated. I wonder if he can sweep the Elite Four."

["My Strongest Pokémon Are Still Waiting"]

Jordan's announcement took an intriguing turn when he hinted at his battle lineup for the Elite Four. "I'll be bringing my strongest Pokémon," he said with a confident smile. "Some of them didn't even compete in the league."

Fans were quick to speculate on which Pokémon he might be referring to. Jordan's Torterra, Aggron, and Bastiodon—well-known powerhouses in his arsenal—were notably absent during the league matches. Their rumored strength, combined with Jordan's tactical brilliance, has raised questions about whether the Elite Four are prepared for what's coming.

"I wanted to save them for a challenge like this," Jordan explained. "They're incredibly strong, but I didn't want to rely on them to win the league. This time, it's all or nothing."

[Expert Analysis: Breaking Down the Battles]

[Aaron vs. Jordan]

Jordan's powerhouse lineup will likely include steel types, giving him a natural edge against Aaron's bug types. However, Aaron is known for his unpredictable strategies, using Pokémon like Drapion to counter typical Bug-type weaknesses.

[Prediction: A close match, but Jordan's tactical versatility might give him the edge.]

[Bertha vs. Jordan]

Ground types are Bertha's specialty, and she's known for her ability to outlast opponents in drawn-out battles. Jordan's rumored Torterra and Bastiodon could make this a fascinating match of endurance and type strategy.

[Prediction: A battle of wills, with the outcome depending on how well Jordan manages type matchups.]

[Flint vs. Jordan]

Flint's Fire types pose a serious challenge, especially for Jordan's Steel and Grass Pokémon. However, Jordan's Salamence and potential Water-types like Floatzel might turn the tide.

[Prediction: A fiery showdown that could swing either way.]

[Lucian vs. Jordan]

Lucian's psychic types are a test of both power and precision. Jordan's Metagross, if included, could match Lucian's Bronzong in an intense battle of wits.

[Prediction: Jordan's strategic prowess will be key to overcoming Lucian's calculated style.]

[A Global Event]

Trainers and fans across the Pokémon world are gearing up to witness this extraordinary challenge. The Pokémon League has confirmed that the battles will be televised globally, and tickets for in-person attendance are already in high demand.

League President Charles Goodshow commented, "Jordan's decision to challenge the Elite Four is a testament to his dedication as a trainer. This is an event that will inspire trainers everywhere."

[What's at Stake?]

Though Jordan isn't challenging for the Champion title, there's still plenty to gain. The Pokémon League has confirmed that defeating the Elite Four in this unofficial challenge would grant Jordan access to exclusive training privileges and a substantial cash prize. More importantly, it would solidify his reputation as one of the most promising young trainers in the world.

[The Trainer's Final Word]

As the press conference concluded, Jordan left fans with a simple message: "These battles aren't just about proving myself—they're about learning and growing. My team and I are ready to give it everything we've got. Let's see how far we can go."

With the Pokémon world eagerly awaiting this historic showdown, one thing is certain: Jordan Smith's journey is far from over.

The sparkling waters of the ocean stretched endlessly into the horizon, glistening under the midday sun. The cruise ship hummed with life as passengers wandered its expansive decks, enjoying the gentle sea breeze. Among them, the Ketchum and Oak families gathered on a quiet upper deck, the excitement of the past few days still fresh in their minds.

Delia Ketchum POV –

Delia leaned on the railing, her sunhat tilted to shield her from the sun. She watched the waves lap against the ship, her thoughts drifting to Jordan Smith's victory at the Sinnoh League. She had always been proud of her son Ash, but witnessing someone as young as Jordan achieve such incredible feats had left her in awe.

"Jordan's such an extraordinary young man," Delia said, her voice warm as she turned to Professor Oak. "It's amazing what he's accomplished at his age. He reminds me a bit of Red when he started his journey—so determined and full of potential."

Ash, who was leaning against the railing next to her, grinned. "Jordan's awesome, Mom, but I'm going to catch up to him someday. Just watch!"

Ash POV –

Ash's excitement was palpable. The celebration of Jordan's Sinnoh League victory had lit a fire in him. Watching Jordan dominate the league with his powerful and well-trained Pokémon had given Ash a new goal: to train harder and prove himself on the same stage.

"I'm telling you, Gary," Ash said, nudging his lifelong rival. "We've got to step up our game. Jordan's already a league champion, and we haven't even reached the Indigo Plateau yet."

Gary smirked, leaning back in his chair. "Speak for yourself, Ashy-boy. I've been training hard, and I've got a few surprises up my sleeve. But yeah, Jordan set the bar pretty high. It's going to be fun trying to beat that."

Gary Oak's POV –

Gary wasn't one to admit it openly, but Jordan's achievements had left him both impressed and motivated. As a researcher-in-training and a budding trainer, he couldn't help but admire Jordan's meticulous strategies and the way he brought out the best in his Pokémon.

"I've been reviewing some of Jordan's battles," Gary said, addressing his father, Blue Oak, and grandfather, Professor Oak. "His strategies are insane. He doesn't just rely on brute strength—he anticipates his opponents' moves like he's playing chess. I need to start thinking like that if I want to compete at his level."

Blue chuckled. "It's not just strategy, Gary. Jordan has an incredible bond with his Pokémon. You can see it in every battle. That's something you can't fake—you've got to earn it."

Blue Oak's POV –

Blue Oak sipped his coffee, his sharp eyes scanning the open sea. As a former Champion himself, he understood the dedication it took to reach the top. Seeing someone as young as Jordan achieve what he had done so effortlessly was humbling.

"I've been thinking about that, too," Blue said, addressing the group. "Jordan's got raw talent, but what sets him apart is his focus. He knows what he wants, and he goes for it without hesitation. That's something every great trainer needs to learn."

Professor Oak's POV –

Professor Oak, sitting in a deck chair with a notebook in hand, smiled at the enthusiasm of his family. He had watched countless trainers rise through the ranks over the years, but Jordan's story felt special.

"He's a rare talent," Professor Oak said, tapping his pen on the notebook. "But it's not just his talent that stands out—it's his humility. Even after winning the league, he didn't gloat. Instead, he immediately thought about how he could challenge himself further. That's the mark of a true trainer."

Daisy Oak, who had been quietly listening, added, "That's why I'm staying in Sinnoh for the Grand Festival. Watching Jordan inspired me to push myself as a coordinator. If he can aim for the stars, why can't I?"

Daisy Oak POV –

Daisy's decision to stay in Sinnoh had been met with excitement and encouragement from her family. The Sinnoh League celebrations had rekindled her passion for Pokémon coordination, and she was determined to prove herself on the grand stage.

"Jordan told me to visit Fantina," Daisy said, her eyes sparkling. "He said she's an incredible trainer and coordinator. I think training under her guidance could help me grow."

Yellow Oak, Daisy's mother, smiled proudly. "You've always had a flair for coordination, Daisy. If this is what you want, we'll support you all the way."

3rd person POV –

As the group continued to talk, laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Despite their differing goals, the Ketchums and Oaks shared a bond forged by their mutual love for Pokémon and the adventures that came with them.

Ash turned to Gary and Daisy with a grin. "Let's make a promise. Next time we see Jordan, we'll show him just how much we've grown. He won't be the only one making waves in the Pokémon world."

Gary smirked. "Deal. But don't cry when I outshine you, Ashy-boy."

Daisy laughed. "Count me in. I'll prove that coordinators can shine just as brightly as trainers."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, the two families stood together on the deck, their eyes filled with determination and excitement for the journeys ahead.

For the KKetchumsand the Oaks, the cruise wasn't just a celebration of Jordan's success—it was a reminder of the limitless potential within each of them and the adventures waiting just beyond the horizon.

Elite Four POV –

The announcement of Jordan Smith's gauntlet-style challenge against the Sinnoh Elite Four sent ripples throughout the Pokémon League and the wider world. For the Elite Four, this was more than just another set of battles—it was an opportunity to test their mettle against a prodigy who had captured the hearts and minds of fans across the globe. Each of the members prepared in their way, reflecting on the battles to come and the young champion who had taken Sinnoh by storm.

Aaron's POV

Aaron, the youngest member of the Sinnoh Elite Four, paced through the forested training grounds outside the Pokémon League building. His Vespiquen buzzed beside him, and Drapion loomed over his shoulder, watching its trainer intently.

"Alright, team, this is it," Aaron said, clapping his hands together. "We've got to be at our best. Jordan Smith is no ordinary challenger—he's defeated some of the strongest trainers in the Sinnoh League, and from what I've seen, he's a strategist through and through."

Aaron thought back to Jordan's battles during the Sinnoh Conference. The way Jordan had handled Aurora Vega in the finals was etched into his mind. He had dismantled Aurora's Ice-types with precision, and Aaron couldn't help but admire how seamlessly Jordan transitioned between offense and defense.

"I know he'll come prepared for Bug-types," Aaron continued his brow furrowing. "But we've got tricks up our sleeves, don't we?" Drapion growled in agreement.

The forest around him reminded Aaron of his early days as a trainer when he fell in love with Bug Pokémon. They were often underestimated, just like him. But now, as a member of the Elite Four, Aaron felt a kinship with Jordan—a young trainer fighting to prove himself.

"Win or lose, this is going to be a battle to remember," Aaron said, a small smile on his lips.

Bertha's POV –

Bertha sat on a sunlit terrace overlooking the vast landscape of the Sinnoh region. Her Gliscor hovered nearby, sharpening its pincers against a rock, while her Hippowdon basked lazily in the warmth.

"He's an interesting one, that boy," Bertha mused, sipping her tea. She had been watching Jordan's battles ever since his gym challenge began. His ability to adapt to his opponents was reminiscent of the best trainers she'd faced in her long career.

"Strength isn't just about hitting hard," she said aloud, addressing her Pokémon. "It's about understanding your environment, your opponent, and yourself. That's where Jordan excels—he knows his Pokémon inside and out, and they trust him completely."

Bertha's battles were never flashy, but they were grgruelingests of endurance and strategy. She suspected that Jordan's Torterra or Bastiodon would make an appearance against her, given their natural advantages against Ground-types.

"Let him come," she said with a chuckle. "If he's as good as they say, then this will be a fight worth having. And if he's not… well, he'll learn something valuable about himself."

She leaned back in her chair, her eyes twinkling. "The young ones always surprise us, don't they?"

Flint's POV –

The roaring flames of Flint's training room cast long shadows across the walls as he prepared for the upcoming challenge. His Infernape danced through the flames with a fiery determination, while Magmortar fired precision blasts at targets across the room.

Flint rubbed his hands together, a grin spreading across his face. "This is going to be fun," he said. "A kid like Jordan, taking on the Elite Four? That's gutsy. I like that."

Flint's style was as fiery as his Pokémon—he thrived on high-energy battles that pushed both him and his opponents to their limits. Jordan's Salamence and Garchomp, known for their devastating attacks, posed a serious threat to his team.

"But that's the point, isn't it?" Flint said, tossing a piece of charcoal to Infernape, who caught it effortlessly. "If it were easy, it wouldn't be worth doing. Let's see if he can handle the heat."

Flint thought back to his journey as a young trainer, dreaming of becoming a member of the Elite Four. Jordan reminded him of himself—fearless, ambitious, and utterly dedicated.

"Whatever happens, the kid's going to leave a mark on this place," Flint said, his grin widening.

Lucian's POV –

Lucian sat in his expansive library, surrounded by towering shelves of books. A chessboard sat on the table before him, the pieces meticulously arranged in mid-game. His Alakazam hovered nearby, its spoons glowing faintly as it meditated.

"Jordan Smith," Lucian said softly, moving a knight across the board. "A name that has become synonymous with brilliance in such a short time."

Lucian had studied every one of Jordan's battles, analyzing his strategies with the same precision he applied to a chess game. Jordan's ability to anticipate his opponents' moves and exploit their weaknesses was extraordinary.

"However," Lucian continued, "he has yet to face a true test of intellect. Power alone will not suffice against me."

Lucian's battles were cerebral affairs, designed to outmaneuver and outthink his opponents. He knew that Jordan's Metagross would likely be the centerpiece of their match, but Lucian had counters prepared.

"This will be a battle of minds as much as it is a battle of Pokémon," Lucian said, his voice calm but resolute. "Let us see if the young champion is ready for such a challenge."

Cynthia's POV –

Cynthia stood on a cliff overlooking the ocean, her Garchomp by her side. The wind whipped through her hair as she gazed at the horizon, her thoughts on the young trainer who had taken the Sinnoh League by storm.

"Jordan," she said, her voice carrying a mix of admiration and anticipation. "You've come so far in such a short time. But do you have what it takes to face me?"

Cynthia hadn't faced a serious challenge in years. Her title as Champion had gone uncontested, and while she remained in peak form, she longed for a battle that would push her to her limits.

"If you make it through the Elite Four, I'll be waiting," she said, placing a hand on Garchomp's head. "But don't expect an easy fight. You'll be facing me and Garchomp at our absolute best."

Cynthia had watched Jordan's battles closely, noting his creative strategies and the bond he shared with his Pokémon. She was particularly intrigued by the Pokémon he hadn't used during the league, such as his Torterra and Aggron.

"You're holding back, aren't you?" Cynthia said with a small smile. "Good. I want to see everything you've got."

She turned back toward the League building, her determination clear. "Make it to me, Jordan. Show me the strength that brought you this far."

As the battle dates approached, excitement reached a fever pitch across Sinnoh. The Elite Four prepared with unwavering focus, each determined to give Jordan the challenge of a lifetime.

For the first time in years, the Sinnoh Pokémon League felt alive with the promise of something extraordinary.

Jordan's POV –

Jordan sat cross-legged on the balcony of his room at the Sinnoh Pokémon League building, the moonlight casting a silvery glow across his muscular frame. The night air was crisp and carried the faint scent of the ocean below. In the distance, the League battlefield stood empty, its quiet presence a stark contrast to the roaring crowds it would host tomorrow.

His heart was pounding—not with fear, but with excitement.

"Tomorrow," he muttered, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "It all begins."

Around him, his Pokémon team rested, each lost in their thoughts and preparations. Aggron stood like a silent sentinel near the doorway, its metallic body gleaming faintly in the moonlight. Torterra lay sprawled in the garden below, its massive tree rustling softly in the breeze. Bastiodon snored gently against the wall, its durable shield-like face propped like a fortress even in slumber.

Jordan's thoughts flickered to Aaron and Bertha—the first two obstacles in his gauntlet.

Thinking About Aaron

"Bugs," Jordan whispered, his fingers drumming against his knee. He had watched Aaron's battles countless times. The youngest member of the Elite Four was fast and tactical, relying on his Bug-types' agility and unique abilities to throw challengers off balance.

"Drapion's going to be the wildcard," Jordan said to himself. "It's not a Bug-type, but Aaron uses it as if it's the backbone of his team. Its bulk and versatility are impressive."

He glanced at his Metagross, who hovered nearby in quiet meditation. The Pokémon's steel-blue body shimmered under the moonlight, its red eyes glowing faintly.

"You're up for this, aren't you?" Jordan said his grin widening. Metagross opened one eye, giving him a slow, confident nod.

Thinking About Bertha

Jordan's grin faded slightly as his thoughts shifted to Bertha. The seasoned Ground-type specialist was no joke, and her Hippowdon and Gliscor were infamous for their resilience.

"She's not just strong; she's wise," Jordan mused. "She'll use the battlefield itself to her advantage."

His eyes drifted to Torterra, whose massive frame rose and fell with each breath. Torterra had been with him since the beginning—a steady, unshakable force in his team. But Jordan had opted not to use it in the Sinnoh League Conference, keeping it rested for this challenge.

"This is your time to shine," Jordan said softly, his voice carrying a mixture of pride and anticipation.

The Thrill of the Challenge

Jordan stood and stretched, the tension in his muscles giving way to a rush of adrenaline. The thought of stepping onto the battlefield tomorrow against two of the Sinnoh region's strongest trainers made his blood pump harder.

He wasn't afraid. He didn't feel the weight of expectation or the fear of failure. What he felt was pure, unfiltered excitement—the kind that came from knowing you were about to push yourself to the absolute limit.

"I've trained for this," Jordan said aloud, his voice steady and firm. "Every battle, every strategy, every moment—it's all led to this."

A Moment with His Team

Turning back to his Pokémon, Jordan knelt and placed a hand on Agron's sturdy frame. "We've been through so much together," he said, his voice low but filled with emotion. "Tomorrow, we show them what we're made of."

Aggron let out a low, rumbling growl of agreement. The rest of the team stirred at Jordan's words, their eyes lighting up with determination. Garchomp, who had been lounging near the balcony railing, stood and let out a sharp, powerful roar, its blade-like fins glinting in the moonlight.

Jordan chuckled. "Yeah, I know you're ready. But hold on to that energy for when it counts."

As the night deepened, Jordan sat back down, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The thought of facing Cynthia at the end of this gauntlet loomed large in his mind. She was the epitome of strength and grace, a Champion whose skills were legendary.

"I have to earn that battle," Jordan said quietly. "Aaron and Bertha first. Then Flint and Lucian. One step at a time."

His heart raced at the thought of the challenges ahead, but a calm resolve settled over him.

"I'm not just doing this for me," Jordan whispered, his voice filled with determination. "I'm doing this for my Pokémon, for everyone who's believed in me. Tomorrow, we give it everything we've got."

As the moon hung high in the sky, Jordan closed his eyes, letting the excitement carry him into a restless, dream-filled sleep.
