Silver Hair

Jomon and a group of cats start exploring the forest in the middle of the hill. It's time for them to hunt for Okas. The animal is a rodent commonly found in the hilly areas where Jomon and the cats live. Okas are their main food source. Hunting for Okas is a routine for Jomon and his feline companions in the late afternoon. Okas are easy to hunt in the afternoon, because their ability to see is reduced during these hours.

"See? It's rare to find Okas around here. In a few months, their large population seems to be dwindling. No, it's not because of our hunting. Over the years, we hunted them, making them our food, but their numbers are still plentiful. Endless. But now it's different. In recent months, the Okas population has become increasingly scarce."

Jomon spoke to the cats. The cats only listened to Jomon's monologue. They all walked hand in hand, looking for the first Okas they saw to hunt.

"We've walked quite a distance into the forest, but there's not a single Okas in sight. It's only getting more and more difficult. At this rate, I'm afraid we won't all be able to eat. Okas are the best meat we can find in this forest. The main source of supply of our food."

A cat meows at Jomon. There seems to be some conversation between them.

"You feel it too? me too." Said Jomon.

"I also sensed the presence of a stranger around where we lived. He's watching us from afar, I know that. I'm silent, not that I don't notice."

The other cats also meow.

"We'll see when we get home whether the scout is still there or not. If he's a danger to us and a threat, then I'll kick him out. The cats started to stop. Their noses seemed to be sniffing something. Perhaps the presence of an Okas they were hunting. Jomon's steps also stopped. Instantly, Jomon lowered his head to the ground, stretched his body, sniffing with his nose. Although Jomon is clearly a human, his nose has a very keen sense of smell like a cat's.

"An Okas?" Let's keep sniffing.

"No! It's something else." The cats are on standby.

They focus on directing their eyes. The cats could sense that something was amiss throughout the forest area and their habitat. "Dusko! You go back to the cave. See if anything happens there. I'll catch up later."

The orange and white cat named Dusko obeyed Jomon's orders. The cat then ran. Return to the cave where the cats live. Meanwhile, Jomon and the rest of the cats still want to continue the hunt.

"This ominous smell is getting stronger. I don't like the smell." Jomon continued to sniff the ground while squatting slowly.

Suddenly an Okas passed before his eyes just as Jomon sniffed. The white Okas ran up and down like a rabbit. Jomon looks very happy to find Okas. Immediately, Jomon ran as hard as he could to hunt down the Okas.

"We found it! As usual, set up the formation. Since Dusko isn't here, Zazam takes the lead. Let's do it!" Jomon is excited to be able to get his quarry.

The cats began to move. The cat's movements are in sync with Jomon's agile movements. Jomon ran eastward, deeper into the forest. Meanwhile, the cats tried to intercept Okas who was running with a blockade and a certain formation. Very organized. Within seconds, Okas' range of motion narrowed.

He could not run anywhere else because he had been blocked by a group of cats from all directions. Okas was confused. Hissing with the sound of a mouse. The two sharp fangs on his sabertooth like face couldn't protect him. However, this animal is a type of rodent, not a predator in the food chain.

Its two sharp fangs were created only as accessories, not for defense. Now, the Okas were completely surrounded. When Okas was trying to run fast backwards into the bushes, that's when suddenly Jomon appeared from there and immediately ambushed him. Jomon then hugged Okas tightly that he had got. Okas was still trying to fight back in Jomon's arms.

"Damn! It's still fighting, this Okas is very strong," complained Jomon, who was overwhelmed by holding the Okas.

"But it's a lot Bigger than usual Okas. Just having one of these is enough for all of us to have dinner. Yes, I think it's a big catch." The Okas still tried to rebel.

Suddenly, the Okas gave off a strange behavior. Its body was getting more and more out of control. Jomon was barely holding onto it.

"What is this…!?" Jomon was shocked by how strong the Okas rebelled.

"The longer the body, the heavier it is." Jomon didn't realize that the size of Okas' body was that. It was hugging and it was getting bigger. The expression on the Okas' face slowly became more violent.

Its eyes, which had been blue before, had drastically changed to a fiery red. Its mouth gaped very wide. Saliva filled the ferocity of the jaws of its mouth between the teeth of the Okas.

Let's let go of the Okas. He couldn't hold it anymore. Jomon was shocked when he saw Okas' drastic and unusual change. In his mind, Jomon wondered, what happened to this animal? This is so crazy! He had never seen this before. Usually Okas are not like this. What happenedd? Jomon really felt very confused and shock by what he saw on the Okas. The okas changed, mutating before Jomon's eyes.

The okas changed completely. It body became three times bigger than before. It face looks fierce, as if ready to prey on anyone. It groaned very loudly, then began to rampage, destroying everything around him. It clawed the tree trunks in the forest with it enlarged claws.

"Run…!!! All of you, get out of here..!!" Jomon warned the cats to run away from the Okas.

Ask them to stay away from Okas who suddenly went crazy. The cats and Jomon were stunned.

"What happened? What happened to this Okas?"

The Okas turned to look at Jomon and the cats. The Okas quickly ran towards them. The Okas groaned while swinging the claws of it enlarged arms. Okas is not an Okas anymore. More like a monster!

The Okas then swung it claws at Jomon. Jomon's reflex dodged. He put on a standby pose like a cat. He stretched his arms and legs.

"I told you to run…! I'll take care of it, run." Jomon's orders.

Jomon counterattacked the Okas in order to protect the cats. He tried to scratch Okas body part by part.

"So loud," Jomon muttered.

Okas strikes back. This time Jomon is the main target. Jomon ran to dodge Okas' attacks and pursuit. Jomon's running style is now more like running a cat than a human. For some reason his behavior and instincts have resembled a cat. Jomon could only dodge while occasionally attacking the Okas.

He purposely wanted to keep the Okas monsters away from his feline companions. However, the cats disobeyed Jomon's orders to immediately run for safety. They were all still there, put on standby. They seem reluctant to leave Jomon alone in the face of danger. One by one the cats then began to attack the Okas to help Jomon.

"What are you doing, guys! I told you to run. It's dangerous!" The cats still didn't heed Jomon's orders.

They just wanted to help Jomon. Now not only Jomon but the Okas also received the cat's barrage of attacks. The attacked Okas started twisting it body and clawed arms. The cats bounce! They all seemed to be lying down, injured.

"Guuyysss…!!!" shouted Jomon.

He put on an annoyed face at the Okas then ran to attack him back.

"You've hurt my feline friends." Jomon looks annoyed. He swung his claws again, this time with great fury. Several times Jomon kicked and attacked the Okas swiftly. But the Okas grew stronger. The ferocious animal attacked Jomon again and again. Let's get cornered. As the Okas was about to swing its claws which now looked much bigger than before, he parried and managed to hold it. Jomon's hands gripped the Okas' two large claws tightly. He tried his best to hold it in.

However, the cats that had been lying down, suddenly woke up. Their behavior also became strange. Exactly what Okas did before turning violent. Jomon saw his cat friends become like that. While holding back Okas attack, Jomon was confused.

"Guys, what are you doing?" asked Jomon.

The cats then turned completely into monsters just as Okas had changed. Their expressions were fierce. Their bodies are getting bigger. Jomon widened his eyes, unable to believe what had happened to his feline companions.

"Hey, what happened to you guys!"

The cats were now like Okas, they had lost their minds. The ferocious big cats then simultaneously ran towards Jomon who was helpless because of holding Okas. The cats also wanted to attack him. Jomon was stunned helplessly. There was nothing he could do. On one side was the ferocious Okas who he was holding with both hands, and on the one hand his cat comrades who had lost their minds attacked him.

Let's do nothing. He seemed resigned to all the confusion. Jomon's life is really in danger.

At that moment, suddenly a silver-haired youth appeared who immediately attacked the cats who were about to attack Jomon.

"Seneruka…!!" he shouted.

The cats started to bounce. Not only the cats, but the Okas also bounced off. Jomon was surprised, he didn't know who the man suddenly came to help him.

"Who are you?"

The boy with silver hair just smiled at Jomon.
