Chapter 42: Teaching a Coward POPO Edition Pt.1

~Eis POV (14 years old) ~

It took me a day and a few hours to find the place in question of where their hideout was but I finally all of it in plain sight with large wooden fences guarding the place.

It may look like it has enough strength to repel Grimm forces shame it's not prepared for the likes of me I usually would have just bombed the place already if I wasn't aware that Raven is in there currently.

If she wasn't inside the Bandit Hideout, I would've used my Life Cross Tails with a power Stand to simply slice it in all one go cutting down anyone without being in range to harm me but frankly with Raven there that wasn't an option.

Besides I do need her alive so I can turn her in for some Lien I know this might piss off Yang or not but Raven is not exactly innocent of any crimes and me taking her Semblance would work well for me since I can have a quick way to travel home.

Kindred Link is a unique Semblance to have but whoever taught her this way just crippled its use for it probably their parents.

While observing the Bandit Camp from afar I took out my scroll and used Hermit Purple to view what was going on, "Ok let's see what this little birdy is doing?"

Seeing the view, I see Raven is giving orders to her people while making sure she checks upon them as well as guard and maintain her position in her group.

I could only sneer at this she was a Huntresses a was once a braver, more idealistic, and less selfish woman before leaving her teammates, family, and huntress life behind then turn into this.

Also, despite criticizing Ozpin over keeping information from others, using others to reach his goals, and being manipulative Raven has no issues doing the same so how could she say that she is better than Ozpin when they are both the same…

No…

Rather their methods are the same and that's it because unlike Raven Ozpin does care for the people willing to stand up for others while she is a coward to her core as she would rather sacrifice others to save her own skin like setting up the trap...

Yup a true coward to her core alright.

Shaking my head, I could always try to persuade her but just like Qrow says about her personality is a coward she will try to run the first chance she gets so…

Smiling at this I say to myself in a determined tone, "If that is the case then I will force her to fight to defend her tribe because if she doesn't her pride won't let her go away with this."

With that I got ready to use another Stand since Wonder of U for battle this is useless I hardly ever use this Stand in actual combat since the conditions are that the enemy must have seen it's back or mine first and the second is that they have the intent to pursue me.

Another reason why I hardly use this Stand is that I have no control over its ability and the weakness of this Stand is that if I want to confront someone that cancels the ability like how by remaining completely idle and forcing the Stand to confront him, Josuke was seemingly able to bypass the danger of the Stand's ability, as no behavior or environmental factors were present that could be extrapolated into a calamity.

Another reason why I don't activate this ability is that my family can get endanger because of its effects that I can't control so I can't do anything if someone can harm me if they catch up to me.

Sigh…

Walking my direction towards the Bandit Base with my Life Cross Tails ready and my Stand Planet Waves towards their base, "Well time to make Madara proud with a Meteor Shower of this place."

Although how exactly should I pass the blame here once Raven is imprisoned hmm…

Snapping my fingers I thought of an idea that was crazy that it might just work, "I'll just use Salem as my scapegoat here while I have my identity disguised under a mask that should give Raven enough reason to be scared of me when I have gotten her power and say 'Salem has always known you Raven escape was never an option' yeah that would be enough to give her a scare of a lifetime."

With that, I changed my Yellow Temperance to have an Obito mask and the Ataktsuki clothes with my Speed Wagon hat I'm feeling a bit of Naruto today strange?

Oh well.

~Third POV~

Currently, the Branwen tribe were experiencing a peaceful day in their nice Bandit Camp because recently they have plundered a village of their supplies and have taken all the necessary items for themselves.

At this time Raven was inside her tent enjoying her time drinking her tea to soothe herself of her past.

Raven's outfit consisted of a shallow cut black and red dress with black shorts underneath, with series of beaded necklaces and a belt that wrapped around her waist and carried her weapon's sheath.

Attached also is a long black object that is either fur or feathers, with a red and white bandana material hanging from behind her. Her forearms bear red armored gauntlets that protrude outwards and black fingerless gloves.

She wore black mid-thigh high leggings with red splatter patterns and black heels. She had long black hair and bright red eyes

Raven was looking around her tent enjoying her peace thinking about everything that leads her to this point justifying herself.

Raven was drinking her tea peacefully, but she felt that something was amiss like something bad is going to happen as she thought to herself, 'Hmm… I get a feeling that something bad will happen today I can feel it in my gut but what?'

At this time Raven decided to leave her tent and check with her 'family' was doing as they were celebrating the food they plunder from a nearby village while she smiles at this.

When Raven saw this scene the bad feeling she felt was no longer a concern as she thought about how she survived, 'Seeing this makes me feel glad if only my brother saw reason to this then he wouldn't have to follow Ozpin his a manipulator to his core and condemns all that puts his trust in him.'

As Raven started to meet up with her group Vernal soon approached her while saluting to her in a professional tone, "Hello Chief Raven it's a pleasure to see you get out of your tent miss came here to get the food as well?"

Vernal was a young woman with tan-colored skin, short brown hair, and icy blue eyes. She had a tattoo of a bird rising from flowers on her left arm. She wore a light brown vest with dark brown panels on the top and a dark brown buckled strap on the back, over a torn white shirt that was partially unbuttoned revealing what appeared to be a black bra, alongside a collar that appears to be slightly turned up behind her neck.

Vernal wore maroon-colored jeans with the right side rolled up to her thigh revealing the dark pink lining alongside a brown belt with a pouch attached to the right side. She also wore dark brown calf guards with one having a garter styled strap that went under her rolled-up pant leg. She wore a pair of beige and dark brown lace-up boots folded over the sides, showing over the white lining accompanied by a pair of maroon socks that partially covered her calf guards.

She wore dark brown gloves of different sizes, with the right being fingerless and wrist length with a large cuff whilst the other was elbow length and covered with a dark brown vambrace. Lastly, she wore a narrow dark brown chocker strap around her neck.

When Raven saw Vernal come to her, she smiles at this as she replies to her, "Yes I came to get some food as well but to also view how our Tribe progressed through our survival of the fittest showing this is the correct path to grow."

As the both of them were smiling at this that was when the disaster took its place at that moment in the shape of Meteor Showers all going towards the Bandit Camp!

CRASH!

BOOM!

CRASH!!

BOOM!!!

When the meteors struck, they were fast and hard as they came from the very sky already fatal injuring the Tribe members and already killed a few of them from the hits that were lucky enough to crush them in one hit.

Raven used her Spring Maiden powers to defend herself and Vernal from the sudden attack but gritted her teeth as she was unaware of this surprising attack to happen but now, she was pissed off.

As soon as Raven was done shielding the both of them, she held her stomach in as the corpses of body parts and burnt flesh was now in the air as the Bandits pleaded for help as Vernal threw up at this much bloodshed.

"Please someone help!

"Boss help us please!"

"I don't want to die like this please Raven!"

"Ahh! My legs are blown off!"

"My eyes! My eyes! I can't see!"

"My arm it got blown the fuck off ahh! The Blood won't stop spilling!"

Currently Raven was shocked seeing the state of her 'family' being torn apart like this, but she had to steel herself as she says to them, "Don't worry about yourselves right now we have to take care of the wounded bring in all – "

BOOM!

However, Raven was interrupted by more meteors hitting the down comrades as she is busy defending herself and Vernal from the sudden attack again.

The Base was now on fire as she protected herself and Vernal just in time to protect them from the pieces of the meteors destroying the place killing all the bandits in one fell swoop.

As Raven was seeing this, she felt powerless seeing the view in front of her but couldn't run as she needed to defend her home as well as her pride from whoever was doing this as she thought, 'Whoever the hell is doing this I will make them pay!'

But to her surprise, she heard an answer from her own thoughts that honestly scared her, 'If you are that confident to take me on very well but be careful about what you wish for.'

Soon enough someone came down from above the sky as Raven was viewing this person with clear hate in her eyes but also an oddly weird muscle fiber creature resembling a man.

The man in question was wearing a long, black cloak with red clouds, a red interior, and a chin-high collar, and a mask with one eyehole open and a top hat as he says to the remaining members as well as to Raven with a cold voice, "Well then it's time for you maggots to learn the pecking order of things since I Popo must teach you that lesson."

Raven didn't know why but for some strange reason she immediately grew very fearful of a genie but didn't know why?
