Perhaps A New Beginning?

As I woke I realised I was in a hotel room and I no longer had handcuffs on me. I was on a king sized bed all by myself. I smelt something cooking in the kitchen and I nervously went to investigate. I see John making some scrambled eggs and I stay silent. He notices my presence and walks up to me. " Hey sorry about the how thing before I just wanted to know it was really u". He gave me a warm smile and I felt confused. " What do u want from me?" I asked unable to understand what he just said. " I wanted to find u because ur life is in danger, I know this might be hard to believe but I didn't u, my..." he pauses before he carries on. " It was a girl named Kate. She kidnapped me and took my car to make it look natural. I knew she hit u and I tried to get her to turn around but I had no luck. I understand u thought it was me hense the reason why u hit me with a truck, but I just wanted to know for myself if u were really ok". I look at him almost in tears of regret when he gives me a soothing hug. I look around trying to get my mind off things when I realise the eggs burning and run to turn off the stove. I sigh and say, " Wanna get take out?"
