Chapter 7

The three of them walked to the elevator with the bellman in tow and rode up to the so-called honeymoon suite on the penthouse level. The bellman never batted an eye as he gallantly unlocked the door, motioned them in, and then delivered their luggage. The fact they had all packed light didn’t seem to faze him either. In a place like this, the man had probably seen everything anyway. He’d be pretty shock-proof—probably even if by chance he came upon the three of them intertwined on the bed.

When the bellman left, she looked around the sitting room area. It seemed rather bland, typical hotel fair, but then Jesse turned toward one of the doors and flung it wide. She went to the doorway only to pause with a gasp. The room reeked of sex and cheesy romance. Everything was in shades of red and pink, lots of crystal and glitter, roses everywhere and, yes—there really were mirrors on the ceiling.
