Joseph was running on fortress wall of solven, the battle cries of both the mirakiv and vagnar armies could be heard echoing throughout the city,

Joseph arrived at the end of the wall where there is the city gate, he notices a sneaking vagnar soldier, joseph readies a dagger to strike him down from above 

-I got you bastard *joseph proceeds to jump*

The soldier look up in worried exepression and tries to block with his arms, the collision puts joseph on top of the fallen solider, just about when joseph was about to kill him, the solidier takes off his helmet

-JOSEPH!!! WAIT!

-huh?

-man chill out it's me, Dan.

-Dan? Took you long enough! But why are you with enemy armor? And where is Anissa?

Dan is a childhood friend of joseph, he is characterized by he his pony tale and his light beard, brown haired and green eyed.

-we split, because an enemy was chasing, she should be here soon. What are you doing anyway outside the battle field?

-I was heading to general Mason, he had an archery stike plan, the archers should be ready by now, come on lets hurry

The main battle front for solven is the city square where there used to be the popular market, it's known to be the biggest and most important in all of the nation, and for that reason there are security watch towers surrounding it, dan and anissa were but a decoy to distract enemy archers that are assingned with guarding the towers, that is why dan was wearing enemy armor, now general mason and his troops are able to control the towers, while the enemy thinks it's vagnar troops that are up there

A clanging sound could be heard along with footsteps, it's General Mason!

The man is decorated with facial scars, his jawline is brighter than joseph's future, he has a teddy boy looking full dark hair, thick brows, thicker than joseph's-, nah nvm, and fierce brown eyes, his general armor, is carved from the steel of Fainna found in the mine of howard, his fighting style is the dual axe build, his axes are forged same way as his armor.

-Men!! I deeply apologize for you to have to wear that disgusting vagnar armor, but we have to set second degree pride aside, our comrades are outnumbered down there, we could weaken the enemy with this strike, and then the vice general's troops that are waiting in the other side of the walls are going storm and take down most of the enemy

The archers all looked troubeled and anxious but ready nentheless 

-I know it must be horrific, the idea of this plan failing that is, but just imagine we make it today, and we free solven, it can be our first step to freeing our whole country, so brave men! UP THE TOWERS! AND DOWN THE ARROWS!

The men are taking place, the stategy is to have two men up a tower and two other men down a tower, and it consists in shooting from above first, after the maximum of the enemy is taken by the surprise, and focus their attention and facing their shields upwards, the archers down, will aim for the unguarded solider asses.

Joseph and dan are still dashing to the general

-general mason huh? Isn't he the younger brother of general mockarel?*dan wondered*

And they finally made it

Dan and joseph took position, and joseph noticed two familiar faces down the tower

The pair noticed joseph and dan up there and waved, and then joseph and dan waved back smilling.

One of the towers had a bell, and it's where the general is located, the ringing of the bell will be a distraction after the first rain of arrows in order to allow room for more takedowns in the first attack

The sun was in the signaled position, and the first attack commenced

The attack took down the predicted amount of the enemy 

DING DING DING!

The enemy looked to the bell tower

-it's their general, he is open this our chance! Shoot you arrows! *the enemy shouted*

5 bows were aimed for mason, he stood still, looking the shooters dead in the eye and smirking.

In the moment the enemy was about to shoot, 5 flaming arrows bursted in unimaginable speed, poped open the skulls of each shooter at the general.

Anissa joined the battle!

-okay I have to admit, that was cool as shit *dan said*

The enemy turned their attention to anissa

-second attack!!! Commence! *the general shouted *

With no time to react the enemy found themselves numbered in the dozens, but vagnar are fierce warriors, even the shot ones were able to shoot down some of the archers, a shattering shout was heard from the city enterence

-My men, CHAAARGE!!!!

The vice general and his troops swooped down and eliminated most of the enemy, the ones that are left droped their weapon and fleed

Joseph, dan, anissa, tracey, vik, and the archers, and even the general, looked down in disbelief.

-VICTORY IS OURS!!!!

The cheers and shouts of the victors could be heard miles away

The general and the archers came down, and so did everyone

-today is a great day my men, because of your efforts, a feat we could only dream of, became a reality, this is our front's first victory on the vagnar in over 3 months, and for that, in the honor of the Emperor, we shall celebrate tonight, and spread the news to occupied neighboring cities to restore hope in their morales

-hey boys, you guys survived and we freed solven for now *anissa said*

The general approached the three

anissa is also one of joseph's oldest friends, her pink hair and blue eyes are unique traits in joseph's home village, her familly immigrated from the south 3 generations ago

Joseph slept in the balcony next to cricket and owl sounds, and the sound of night breeze traveling through the grassy hills stretching to the horizon and illuminated by the moonlight.
