I felt happy that he was seeing me that way since that would mean that he will definitely choose me as Queen and I could free everyone from slavery. My lips stretched into a smile, "I'm glad that you see me that way, but if you are sure, why do we need to continue the competition?"
He let out a small smile, "I wish I could end it, but mother will not let that happen. The competition must go on until the end and she dies prefer me to choose a vampire Queen."
I felt my smile drop, realizing that I might not end up as Queen after all since his mother would object. She had the title of Queen Mother, so she could argue about his choosing of the Queen. I nodded, "I understand, I will try my best to win the competition."
His lips tugged up into a pleased smile, "I am glad that you understand, and I actually came here to ask you to join me for hunting."
My brows furrowed in confusion, "Hunting? Do you mean for blood or meat?"
