CHAPTER Twenty Four - Caught In A Terrifying Scandal
It was like I was being pulled by a magnet towards him. I pulled my eyes away from his and moved them to his chest as I nodded, "Yes, your Majesty. I am very grateful for your help."
"You don't need to thank me, Jannah. Like I said, I know that you are destined to be mine." He murmured as he took my chin in his hand and lifted it up so that my eyes will meet his.
"And I have told you before that you don't need to look down when you are with me." He murmured as he moved his hand away from my chin I felt the pull towards him even further.
"Do you want us to hunt for a larger animal?" He asked me as his gaze moved to the rabbit being held by its ears in his one hand.
His gaze moved to me and even though I enjoyed spending time with him, I was already tired and there was the next stage of the selection. I shook my head, "I would love to, but I have to get ready for the next stage of the selection."
He nodded, "I understand. I will take you back to your room now."
